This league will never get started, no one will want to be the pirates, and as far as I'm concerned 30 people is way to much. Even little old dinky 16 team leagues never finish. Honestly you need to create a new league with only 16 teams and give the people that have been frequenting this thread the most there teams and a spot in the league.

ryles, if I set up a tourney rather than league would u be down? Im looking at playing this game a lot now that im on spring break. Even 8 teams would work for me.

Dibs brew crew, lol... not gonna let that other guy gank them from me :) lol
 
I think we can set up a nice little 8 team tourney with a best of 3 series. Me, jimmie, you, the rock, citizenB, then just look through this thread and see who is most active and ask them if they want in.

After this Nevada creighton game is over I will make a tourney and sent out invites.
 
why would it be decided who frequents this thread most?? ive been waiting forever for this league to start, i was one of the first people that even bothered early on to accept the inviite. yet people are laggin or not accepting invites, which is why its taking forever to start up. to be honest, i frequented this thread alot a couple weeks ago but with all the delays and people not willing to be certain teams.
 
basketcase I'll give you prior for lee, or berkman if he is outfield eligable.
Sry mr. Ryles, I am no longer interested in the ichiro deal because I have found that I suck at stealing.
 
come on guys, lets keep this league together. Even though I like trades, I don't want them because of player dumping. If we have to, lets make this league smaller. I don't care if all the teams are taken or not.
 
This is why I just wanted to go with the current rosters. Everyone is getting ansy and waiting for opening day won't work. My roommate is waiting for the invite to join the league as the Braves but it hasn't been sent yet.
 
don't get me wrong I am still in the league and if it gets up and running I'll be fully functional in it.

And MSU your room mate needs to join it himself. Go to the join leagues screen, when the list pops up press RB and type in MLB 2k7 CAG and then the password is CAG, I think it is case sensative.

Thats exactly it, it is better to have less teams and leave a few people out, over trying to have too many and then come up short.
 
I mentioned lowering the team limit a long time ago. I kinda felt no way a 30 team league would work and its kinda proven how the game has been out for weeks and not everyone has signed up.
 
Arg...Alright well if someone starts a new league i am not running it. I still want the rays i n the new league(If there is one) but lets try and keep it together
 
I'll sit out this one and see how it goes. If there is going to be one after that, I'd like to join.

I've just got too much on my plate right now.

Let's use the second league for those who are ready now and keep the 30 man league as well. Try to fill the 3 spots with friends and family or late blooming cags. How cool would it be to actually use the games online function to its full potential ?
 
I really want to join, but with slickkill taking the last spot in the other league, I don't see this happening. Maybe someone else should start another, smaller league.
 
Well my internet was down and I'm kind of out of it. I guess I missed my chance for the other league. Is this league still going to be up and running?
