McKenzie-Edgar would look similar to Mendes-McKenzie. Perhaps a round later, but Edgar would still finish him with strikes. McKenzie's stand-up is pretty awful, and he's a one-trick pony who keeps his chin up in the air.
I have nothing but love for Edgar—but Aldo will hurt him worse than Henderson. Edgar's "catch and counter" response to Henderson's kicks won't work with Aldo. I think Aldo has a good chance to finish Edgar. Now, Edgar could, and should, beat Cruz at 135. But, to be honest, I think Edgar should stay at 155. He has beat legit competition at the weight. Freakin' Dana White pushing his agenda.
And Anderson Silva has made public that he does not want to fight Chris Weidman and would prefer fights with, get this, Rich Franklin or, a considerably smaller, Georges St-Pierre. In addition, his management let out that Silva does not want to fight Jon Jones because Jones is too big. Some

ing champion. MMA cannot become a joke like boxing. There should be very little democracy in matchmaking.
Really now, St-Pierre is a much bigger draw than Silva. Sacrificing St-Pierre to Silva is stupid. Zuffa should use brute force and coerce Silva to fight Weidman—or any of the other contenders at 185. This has become a circus. Guy may be one of the best fighters on Earth, but, if he can't hang with title contenders, he should retire. He's holding hostage a very active division.
the weidman fight makes no money, thats why its not happening. ive heard numerous times that franklin is one of the few fighters that silva really respects, also. the gsp fight makes BIG money and supposedly is wanted by both guys. why not make it? why is the weidman fight the better option? gsp has to beat condit before thats an option.
