As for the boss character, I think Shao Kahn controlled by Brainiac would be predictable. I want Goro spliced with Doomsday. And hey, maybe Shang Tsung combined with Parasite as the sub-boss, as it would make sense considering their powers.

I also want Johnny Cage possessed by the Spectre. That would be bad ass.

If you watch the whole video he explains why. You can go into some kind of like fury mode or something that causes your character's eyes to glow.

EDIT: Err nevermind...I thought he was just in Rage mode when he did the finisher, guess not. No idea then.

I think I posted about this after E3, but whenever any character pulls off a Fatality or Brutality their eyes glow like that which I thought looked real dumb. When they showed us Scorpion's Fatality and Superman's Brutality they both had the glowing eyes and it seems it is something that they did not get rid of yet and probably will not since the game is coming out soon. I hope it may have something to do with the story, like the characters are somewhat possessed when they do those moves but I may just be trying justify it to myself. Hopefully you can turn that off in the options but I doubt it.
 
What they don't tell you is that the "velvet" used in the "velvet box packaging" is actually ground unibrow from Ed Boon's face.
 
I really hope they patch this so that you can turn that off with the eyes. However I wont see it much unless I play online because I have never really been able to do a Fatality or Brutality. I may have done 5 with out having to use a one button code.

ya, i see and hear about some things I dont like so much. But I still cant wait to play this game. I'm a MK fan, but havnt really seen a really good one since part 4 on N64.

Its been revealed that, amongst a long list of other changes to go from an "M" rating to the much easier to market and sell "T" rating, the Joker's fatality in MK vs DC has been changed and now the actually shooting occurs off screen. He still pulls out his gun and has the "BANG" sign come out, but there will be an abrupt camera jerk to take the action off screen and have the Joker do the deed to the poor sap away from our innocent eyes.

Apparently this is one part DC wanting to not "tarnish" their characters too much in this version, as well as Midway wanting to actually sell some copies, as the series has become rather disappointing in terms of sales in recent years and this is basically boiling down to a publicity stunt to move as many games as possible.
 
How can this tarnish the Joker? Seriously?! This is like kid's stuff compared to Dark Knight and all the shit he did there.

And will a T rating really change anything? Mortal Kombat has been synonymous with the M rating and controversy and I think alot of people will automatically assume it's an M rated title anyways.

That is a bit ridiculous. The Joker is a psychopath. Harm is what he does.

This game just earned "maybe" instead of "definitely" status. Street Fighter 4 and Ultimate Ninja Storm will sate my fighter needs well enough.

It makes you wonder what else they censored and dropped to get the T rating...

Darkseid's Fatality will be him making balloon animals, popping them, and then making his opponent cry.

How about...Wonder Woman bakes her opponent a cake, the opponent gets excited, then Wonder Woman drops the cake on the ground ruining it, and then opponent becomes depressed due to lack of cake.

The issue of fatalities should have been discussed early in production, not at the last minute. This game has moved from "interesting but probably mediocre" to "complete failure" for me. Way to really drop the ball Midway/DC. :applause:
