My 1,000th post should be something special.

But, I hate people who actually realize it's their 1,000th post when creating it.

So, I'm going to bed.
Congrats on 1000.

Is that actually you in the profile now?
Ok, i need to start post whoring like the rest of you in my Ott so I can get a custom rank.

Let the random repetition begin now!
Sorry I brought it up.

Dammit...I hate DBZ, but I just can't resist buying Budokai 3. I mean, 18 bucks for it, and it's apparently better than 2, which provided entertainment for 20 bucks.
Dammit there are too many cute puppies on Nintendogs. I want them all.
Spoken like the Pokemanics of old.

You know, you have actual pets. How did you get sucked into nintendogs? I don't understand that at all ...

Mink discovered how to get on the counter so she's been spending most of her time discovering new things... she won't play with me anymore. Also I've always gotten addicted with games like this. I had a old computer game called Dogz, I also had Catz and Oddballz. I had several Gigapets, tamagotchis, and I was a pokemon addict. I think I need help.

You need to get yourself to PA as soon as possible - Pokemaniacs Anonymous.
You need to get yourself to PA as soon as possible - Pokemaniacs Anonymous.
i stopped playing pokemon after Pokemon Gold. I knew the original 150 pokemon but when they added more I didn't enjoy it.

It sounds like you're desperate to nurture ... I imagine as soon as you finish school and marry Jonathan you're going to start pumping out kids.

Pokemon overload? :whistle2:s
My mother is still a pokemon addict. There's no saving her, she works at an elementary school.

And yes I'm a nurturer.
I've got a cousin, just turned 24. She teaches 4th grade, and when she gets married she wants to have about a dozen kids.

Some people just need to be needed.

I wouldn't mind having a dozen myself as long as the woman I marry didn't mind spacing it out over time. To have 12 kids all at once is a stress inducing nightmare.

Not to mention the toll on both her body and the bank account.
Not to mention the toll on both her body and the bank account.
Not on the bank account. You can deduct your children if you give them jobs (with small salaries which is where the deductions come in) at your company which they could validly qualify for. But it must be a home based business (unless they're 16 and over and thus can qualify for actual office work). And such businesses have small startup costs:

janitorial staff - taking out the trash
secretary - printing something out on the computer for you
logistics support (older children) - figuring out who is in charge of which chores
computer tech support - kids maintain upkeep of your home computer (which can also be deducted as an expense if used more than half the time for the home business)

That's off the top of my head but that alone is enough to cover many kid situations. It's a much better idea than just giving them allowances as there's no responsibility since it's essentially free money. This way, they learn how to earn their keep as well as fiscal responsibility. And this benefits the parents as they can deduct it on their home business taxes. And I would also make a 'mini-401k' for them. Essentially, I'd match ever dollar they save for a big personal purchase such as a video game and put it away towards their college fund which would be placed in an interest bearing account held under a trust.

For me, 3 or 4 kids is a nice amount. Though, I would like to have a set of twins, that would be cool.
Yeah, but you're going to put 12 newborns on the payroll?
No way! But you can offset the cost of your kids when they're old enough to help around the house and that's what the point of giving them salaries for. Plus, it will pay back the cost of diapers/milk eventually over time.

And as I said, they wouldn't be all newborns at once, I'd space it out over a span of 24 yrs or so - a kid every other year.

Ideally, I'd also want to have only 3-4 kids but if she wanted more, I wouldn't mind that either on the condition that it was spaced out.

There are some people who just shouldn't have children.

Luckily for me, I don't want them anyway.

Little girls are boring, and little boys are demons.

Now, other people's little girls, after a certain age ... ;)
a kids gotta hear dead baby jokes from someone, might as well be from his father..
Speaking of dead baby jokes, SneakyPenguin's been gone a while, eh?
Not to mention the toll on both her body and the bank account.
No kidding. I mean, with college and other such things, 6 kids is a ton to deal with... imagine double that.

Without deadzone, I guess he doesn't have an outlet for his particular brand of angst.

Get it. Budokai 3 is seriously fun. I think you'll really enjoy it even if you absolutely hate DBZ.

There's a name I haven't heard in a long while.
No kidding. I mean, with college and other such things, 6 kids is a ton to deal with... imagine double that.
Not if you did it the way I outlined. By the time they're old enough for college, they'll have their tuition most, if not all, paid for.
There's a name I haven't heard in a long while.
Yes, but unfortunately, you've heard of it more recently than Minx.

If people started doing what you outlined in large numbers, there would be code changes and the IRS would be on them like white on rice.
Yes, but unfortunately, you've heard of it more recently than Minx.
double   . Speaking of our missing female population, has there been any update on how Darke Katt is doing?

Last I heard, she was off training, though I don't remember if it was basic or tech school for the service.

Meh. It wouldn't matter either way. If they do, there'll be other ways to find deductions for you kids. There's always a legal loophole.

And in unrelated news, Lion King Google Image Search comes up with something wrong  :

It couldn't possibly be better than GNT 3 though ... right?
Speaking of dead baby jokes, SneakyPenguin's been gone a while, eh?
I'm almost positive that I posted this before, but I remember Sneaky saying that he was done with CAG, or at least posting socially on it.
It couldn't possibly be better than GNT 3 though ... right?
Something tells me it can't be, but it must be somewhat fun. Everyone seems to recommend playing it.
