I can't even imagine the number of Sony Fanboys that visibly wept at that announcement. I'm guessing it was all of them.

GoW2, and Resident evil 5, and fable 2 were excellent.
 
i fucking loved the gears of war trailer. It was a very weak show in terms of presentation though. But fuck ff13 out of nowhere. i was watching g4 and saw the last remnant and though who cares than BAM!
 
Man, found this thread a little late.

Dashboard looks interesting, SUPER psyched for 1 VS. 100 and Portal: Still Alive, Netflix a nice little addition, and Fallout 3: Me wantee.

Though the conference seemed to lack something this year, not too particularly blown away for the most part.

What for? MS conference set the bar pretty low.
 
I could care less about any square RPGs, including FF13. Though I guess this will help sell a few more xboxes come christmas or whenever they come out. I really wanted a Killer Instinct announcement or an announcement that Live would be free from here on out(ad-based revenue).
 
My favorite part of the press conference was that guy's shit eating grin when the Square Enix guy was next to at the end.

oddly I don't find anything compelling about their software news... alot of people are happy with FFXIII and I am glad it's a wider audience, but I really hate how this is going to stur up alot of fanboy shit.

Highlights of the show had to be for me: Banjo Kazooie originals coming to XBLA, Dashboard update, Netflix.


Those 3 made me very happy. everything else was kinda nice.

Tomorrow will be even better, guaranteed.


but yeah, I agree with whoknows... bar was pretty damn low

Not really they have 2 big games fable 2 and gears 2 this year. They also have 4 square enix games and sony does not seem to have any third party exclusives anymore after ff13. Not enough reason for the ps3 besides blu ray player. Fallout 3 content, rockband exclusive, and eye toy rip off
