My kingdom for Captain America Super Soldier!! or something from my list..

Bump...

Good to hear you're doing well, have fun on your time off. I spent my time off participating in the Steam summer camp deal, so far I have the Portal 2 scuba gear and the steampunk Killing floor characters :D

Bump...

I added Alien Breed 2 and the MNC DLC to that list above ;) I read a little of the Old Man Logan and I thought it was okay but I didn't like that the mutants were betraying each other :(

sweet.

man, i'd have loved to play DSIII with you if i'd have known you had it (i never bought it cuz i didn't want to play alone, and the randoms were dipshits in the game). have you finished it?

also, you never told us what the 3 trades were that got you out of trading for a bit. mind sharing the names?

EDIT: btw, captain america was 37$ at amazon for a while. i know you'd rather get it through a trade, but just in case folks try & charge you up, now you know, lol.

yeah i figure ds for cap straight up is a fair trade.

yeah the demo wasn't that impressive, but still may give it a try when it gets to the 20$ range.

i also have crysis2 that i've barely touched. i've played maybe an hour of the sp. i need to finish LA Noire, then Infamous2, and if you still have it then, maybe we can play some mp. some say it's great, but the mp demo wasn't that great.
BTW as far as RPG's go i'd rank them thisa way.
Fable1&2
Dragon age
Dungeon siege 3
i have fable 2 on my hdd when MS had a bug & i got it free. never played it though. loved pt1, and pt3 was alot less fun.

it would help more to know what you'd put underneath DS3. any thoughts?

also, i thought DS3 was more of a dungeon crawler than an actual rpg. actually, dragon age is the only one i consider a true rpg out of those. action-rpgs are a different breed imho, as they are MUCH shorter, and are like zelda(action/adventure more than rpg) as opposed to final fantasy(rpg).
Holla back!

My favorite RPG's were Dragon Warrior, Crystalis, Super Mario RPG and KOTOR
replace crystallis with final fantasy (any), and you are very close to my rpg faves.
those are the only RPG's ive played in ages. might list oblivion and DS3 as a tie.

BTW not sure how old u guys are (i'm 46) but i rmember the best RPG's to be the old pencil and paper D&D games my buds and i would play. We couldn't wait for the computer games to come out but i still look back at the fun we had spendding all day saturday with the dice.
i'll be 33 in september (on the day gears 3 comes out. maybe they'll give me a free copy, lol). i've never played, nor knew anyone who played, 'real' pencil & paper rpg's. always seemed cool, but i was already into video games at age 5 and there was no getting me off my atari, colecovision, or NES. i was hooked, and when i'd have been old enough to play those type of rpg's, most of my friends were into pretty bad things, so i never had the chance, i suppose (especially since i never even heard of D&D until i was out of school altogether).

the southpark, and other comedy shows taught me more about those games than i knew from anywhere else, lol. i thought the fable 3 section where you shrink into a game of "D&D" & hear the players arguing & chatting while you're playing on the game board was quite funny, & well done.

You're the same age as my older brother . I played so many boardgames as a kid but only three pen and paper games. I still have Battletech and Mechwarrior but I got rid of almost all my Star Wars stuff except for my painted figures.

"how was harry potter movie" bump?

i need to catch up. never read the books but i need to see the prisoner of azkaban(?). saw most of it, but need to see it in one sitting, then goblet of fire, i think.

no spoilers, but did you think it was a good ending to the series?

I'm probably going to see captain America late tomorrow since I have some friends from Vegas visiting and they want me to go to the theater at least once with them before they have to go home.

tell me if it's worth seeing when you finally get to see it. i can't go to a theatre, but if it's a MUST SEE. i'll look for it when the blu ray is out (as i have always thought captain america looked so sweet in that getup. so glad they did the entire movie with that theme, instead of him in tights).

too much to explain, but i have hypokalemia, with acute onset about 1.5 yrs ago. no idea of the cause, so just take 20 MEq/day of potassium. now it seems i'm having same symptoms of low potassium (except the passing out) everytime i take my potassium meds. i stopped for the last month, and started to feel fine. took another pill on the 23rd just cuz i was scared to go that long w/o the med (my 1st passing out experience was extremely traumatic), and to see if that's what was causing those symptoms (which are different for everyone, and are the same when potassium is high or low). all symptoms returned, so i went in for the blood test today. i will know friday if it's high, which may mean i'm healed from needing this med (which is 60$ a month since all these idiotic places took it off the 4$ prescription list, but still have allergy meds on there. people can't live w/o meds for hypokalemia. they can live w/o meds for allergies, or whatever), but we'll see.

either way, i'll let you know; and i appreciate the prayers, man. thanks alot.

Bump...

I'll let you know about the movie this weekend since today ended up being hectic. I plan on going to Knott's Berry Farm late tomorrow since I found out that the price is fairly cheap if I go after 4 P.M. :D

Thanks for the heads up on Bloodstone, I saw it late last night and picked it up this morning on the way to work ;) I probably got an achievement for starting the game because I added the pre-order DLC code  Hopefully you get good news and you don't have to take those meds anymore:pray:
Take care, talk to you soon!

Bump!

second part of my previous post was for twztid:oops: I forgot to let you know that Captain America was pretty good and definitely worth watching if you liked Thor. Knott's was awesome I had a great time and had some hilarious pictures from a few of the Roller coasters I went on:D

hey, bud, read the last few posts by me on oldschool77's thread to find out what the doctor said. i meant to double post them here, but ended up forgetting, sorry.

i greatly appreciate the prayers. keep them coming & i will certainly do them same, friend. take care.

I went to the collectibles show near me and noticed they had an issue where Spider-man dies! I then went to look at your want and saw that there's a book where Captain America dies:shock: Now why in the world is every super hero dying AGAIN! I remember shortly after I started selling comics in the early 90s that a bunch of super heroes died (Superman, Batman, too many to count in alternate universes  ) I wish the comics publishers would just say they retired, have amnesia, or else someone else took their place temporarily. It's getting irritating reading about how they die and then miraculously or ridiculously come back to life:bomb:
