Is that a title of a book, or some shit?
this is what happens when you jack off to the private dancers in The Triangle Club.......You should have stuck to internet porn and your Xbox woulda still had green lights.....
I could believe this. My friend's last 360 (he's on number 4 now) started scratching the hell out of his discs before he finally turned it in.
Started out fine, the DVD-ROM Drive in it... but over time started sounded stranger and stranger til it started making these sharp noises, and the occasional grinding one. Became so common he knew when to eject the disc cuz of knowing the scratching the disc noises. Ugh.
Break a disc in half... yeah, I could see it out of the 360. It's disc drive and cooling system are just utter ing trash overall. Good luck with Microsoft, OP. Just try to keep the profanity down when talking with em, else they might pull "We have the right to refuse service..." line.
I have never had a disc shatter, but If I did I wouldn't post a thread about it either. I would suck it up, and buy another one.
Having a console break a disc in half and then stop working entirely is a pretty ing big malfunction. I'd say it warrants a thread.
As for going out and buying another one, not everybody has the extra ~$400 or so it'd take to get a new 360 and a new copy of the game.

Just the game not the system of course they will fix the system.
For 's sake it's PISSED not PIST you dumbass.
~HotShotX
Correction. PIST is an evolved term evoking a higher state of anger beyond being "pissed". Example:
360 scratches a disc. "Damn it, I just bought this, now I'm pissed."
360 shatters a disc and cuts your hand. "ing piece of shit, just shartered my Disc Completely In Half. You M$!!!! And when I tryd two get it out, I Cut My Dumbass Self, so now I'm ing pist. Rawr!"
See the difference? Note how the state of being pist s with you're spelling as well.

Don't the companies have a program that lets you exchange the game disc with a replacement if you have 50% of that disc? Though it's like 15-20 dollars to replace, it's still cheaper then buying a new one.

The thing is you shouldn't have to. If you buy a $60 game and the console you play it on royally s it up, you shouldn't just take it up the ass and buy another $60 copy. You should get it fixed without any hassle.

Isn't that how most microsoft customers are? They just love taking it up the ass. Didn't Shane Kim say something a while back ago about no matter how bad the consoles messed up, the customers still preferred it showing how much they love the brand "Or how mindless they really are. Your call" That's one of the reasons I was so late to adopt a PS2 because of how ing shitty the build quality was.
i sense foul play in this matter maybe its an issue of this guy mistreating his 360. i mean doesnt he know you have to treat it with care. my 360 actually buffs my games when they come out so they are shiny and new wanna trade consoles> ill just charge u what microsoft charges for the refurb well worth it in my humble opinion deal or no deal?
I hate to agree with jman, but it's unlikely Microsoft will replace the disc. Nothing is really going to make you feel better except this:
Niko will lose Roman or Kate
LOL that is messed up! Do not click the spoiler if you have not finished the game!!!

I hope you are viciously mauled by a tiger. Or a bear. Hopefully both.
When your PS3 fails It's going to cost more then $100 fix, and you won't have a three year warranty either
The odds of the ps3 failing are way less than the 360. If you get a 360, you should just expect it to die sometime soon, which is one of the reasons it has the warranty in the first place. I'd rather not have to go through that process of constantly sending the ticking time bomb back again, again, and again, even if it is "free".
With the ps3 at least at least you know there's a more than a good chance that it will survive. I like those odds.
