Name a Crappy Movie that Everyone Loves

:bomb::hot::wall::bs::newbie::error::argue::headache::censored::boxing:
YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!!!!

Oh crap - I forgot the Number One of All Time Overrated Movie:

The Princess Bride

God damn that movie blows
I don't know if everyone loved this film but I remember hearing a bunch of friends and critics who thought this movie was good and it is Kingdom of Heaven what a big steamin, nutty, brown pile of bullcrap. Two hours of talk maybe one or two fights then they give up in the end and everyone celebrates yeah an oscar winner right here.

We have gone 3 pages on this here gaming website yet nobody mentions, The Wizard?

"It's more than a game....it's the chance of a lifetime"

It was so epic! A road trip, broken families, a mentally unstable kid with a god given talent for gaming, Fred Savage!

And of course Super Mario Bros. 3!
yeah, i still can't make up my mind about kung fu hustle. it was HUGE (and probably unjustifiably so) in Japan.
Do you mean China? You know where it is from?

I don't think everyone loved that movie, although I did as a kid.
Do you mean China? You know where it is from?
Yeah, you're totally right about that. I remember reading about how it was massive in Hong Kong
Def agree with the "Ben Stiller sucks", and I'll raise you "Any movie with Wil Farrel as a lead sucks" Don't get me wrong, I love Frank the Tank, and his little bit in Wedding Crashers, but OMG, kicking and Screaming and Anchorman were horrible!
Agreed. Everyone on my campus seems to be in love with Will...i can't stand him.

another movie i hate but everyone around me seems to love is "Big Fish"... snooze fest.

I agree with Sin City. I don't like either of the x-men movies. The Thin Red Line is another one that comes to mind

Oh, yeah.

The Anchorman and Alien vs. Predator are two of the worst movie I've ever seen.

Not a crap movie, but what the hell is up with Nightmare before Christmas? It's a good movie, but all of a sudden everyone has to have EVERYTHING in the word Nightmare Beofre Christmas version. Like, all the goth kids. Wtf?

Anyway, I vote for Anchorman and fucking Napoleon Dynamite. Napoleon was the worst movie I've seen. So damn dumb, and not in the funny way, I hate that movie.
Not saying that you fit this category, but most people who've only seen this movie once share your opinion.
I'll bet most of the movies mentioned here have only been watched once.

I'm afraid most people are not as masochistic as you.;)

Napolean Dynamite and Kill Bill Vol. 2

KB Vol. 1 was great, but KB Vol. 2 was just talk, talk, and more talk.

That was the point. Kill Bill, vol.1 and 2 are one film. The first volume is adapted from Eastern films and the second volume is adapted from "Western" films (the genre) -- but, to be specific -- the "Spaghetti Western" (Italian Westerns).

East meets west.

If I had to choose a volume, vol.2 is the best. Tarantino flaunts his skill in dialogue and cinematography perfectly within the second volume.

I still don't have Vol. 2. Vol. 1 is crying on my DVD rack right now.

Whaddaya waitin' fer!?

I think it's only $10 now... If not, I see it on sale from time to time for $10.

(Not to mention the fact that you can find it in Gamestop's 2 for $10 used DVD bin now.)

Vol.1 was a classic. It was actually the first Tarantino film I liked on the first viewing.
I know I'll get hate for this, but I think I'm the only person who actually liked ALL of the Matrix Trilogy. There may be a rough spot here or there, but overall I think it's great.
And who hates Fight Club? My god. I like the SIN CITY comics, but the movie wasn't that great except for the style of it. Though that movie could be used as a defense as to why movies shouldn't be made EXACTLY like the book. Take Lord of the Rings. Fights were great, everything else should've been reworked. Oh, and spotless mind was great. I agree with Napolean, the funny scenes for me made up 5 minutes of the movie.

I Don't know if anyone liked it, but the worth movie I've ever seen is Envy. It was just really really bad. a movie that people liked that sucks is in my opinion all the harry potter movies so far. I don't know if anyone else agrees with me, but I don't know I just know that the movies didn't do the books justice. Hoping the 4th one does a great job next month.

Donnie Darko is a great movie

One of those movies - how did most people GET it????????????

I'll never understand - must have been the actor

A great movie -----that most people like ?????----- one of those Memento anomolies

Because it wasn't controversial, look at American Beauty. A lot of people hated that movie because they found some part disturbing (Spacies interest in his daughter's friend for example) and since they couldn't get over that they didn't "get" the purpose of the movie.

Swayze being a pedo?? - oh wait that's the plot of Dirty Dancing - maybe you are on to something...

But he gets caught, it's only until the very end after the movie is nearly over that he gets uncaught.

The evil are punished and the good are reworded, even the main character has sex before he dies.;)

Don't get me wrong I love Donnie Darco, but it's the kind of movie that people will either love or mearly forget about, it doesn't arise the hatred that movies like American Beauty, Momento, fear and loathing, etc. do.

You think so, huh?

Swim out past the breakers
Watch the world die

- Everclean the GOOD MORMON BAND WOOHOO

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

--fuck that movie. I was so freakin' bored.

I didn't care at all about any of the characters and I don't care at all that people made most of the movie on the computer.... If it had looked interesting that'd be neat, but it didn't.

Of course, good mormons can't watch themselves die, they've got to focus on something else while they do all that baby producing.

i have to agree with you on this one. i can't fucking stand that tool that is playing harry potter. to be totally honest, i don't even like potter in the actual books - i like the books, but because of all the other interesting characters. but i digress, the movies (except MAYBE the last one w/the mexican director) were a collective pile of shit.

I'm going to go on the record as being a fan of both Kill Bills. But I can see how people can (understandably) hate both of them.
:dunce: No shit captain obvious.
are you telling me this is common knowledge? if so, it's just a testament as to how fucking popular this shitty movie is.
