I dont think so. The problem is that I can not join a already started league, I must be invited. But...apparently there is no invite option for any of the admins to send me.

He sent a message to 2k so all we can do is wait really.
 
I got my ass handed to me. Dizzle broke the NBA three point record and I couldn't hit a layup for shit, open or contested.

Yeah T-Mac was :hot: with 63 lol.
And I really couldn't miss from the 3 point line. When I was up by 40 in the third I put my bench in and started chucking 3s with brent barry and shane battier and it took me like the first 8 swishes to finally miss :p
19+ 3s (Won't say exact amount on Recap just percentage), 19 Blocks, and 14 offensive rebounds.

Well....that's my 3rd straight loss.....It doesn't help when my guys can't rebound for shit and the other team is pretty much automatic. No defense in the paint once again....guys just standing like statues.

I just had a good game with WeavShow. I was leading most of the 1st half by close to double digits, but he stormed back in the 3rd and I completely collapsed in the 4th. Rondo lit us up just like he did in the real game today!
 
Also, have we heard anything back from 2k about our replacement? Has anyone tried their forums? Lastly has anyone heard from Matt Young? Is he done with the league?
 
2k never responded to my message, and I couldn't find anything in the forums. It seems to me like Matt is done with the league - he hasn't posted in here in forever. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me, Matt.

But even if he is done and we can't replace Franky, I don't think we should let that kill this league. Everybody else is active, and I'm confident we can finish. We can just give everyone with games left against those guys automatic wins. I understand this could be a little problematic, since it's not entirely fair to Juan, who lost a game to Franky earlier. Thoughts?
 
Also, I'd be down for playing another game against someone tonight, if people are around. I have games left agains the Hornets, Cavs, and Suns (although we already played today). Not counting the ones against the Lakers and Warriors.
 
While I have admittedly been very busy these last few weeks and had difficulty scheduling games with people prior to that, I have intentionally not been playing. Since school started, I have seen my gaming time cut down drastically. I have been monitoring the thread and only see 3 people talking about playing.

Between that and Franky being out, I've been waiting to see if this thing would last. It's been looking bleak. I've been using my minimal gaming time to play other stuff rather than wasting hours in yet another failed CAG sports game league. So what is up with this league?
 
Fair enough. But I'm not sure why you say you only see 3 people talking about playing. In the last three days, GoodFella, Dudedizzle, Immortal, XXXplosive and I (that's half of the league) have all posted about playing, and in the last week, five different teams have participated in games (some more than one). If you think that looks bleak and are therefore hesitant to play, that's fine, but that seems like a pretty good showing to me.
 
People have been active in this league .Lately, If I see somebody on XBL I'll send them a message asking if they want to play instead of doing it here in this thread, which I use mostly to post results and game experiences. I receive game requests from other members also. If you want to arrange a game against somebody in the league just send them a XBL message; Plain & simple :)

If it wasn't for 2K's sloppy support we would've had Franky's replacement playing a long time ago but they don't even reply to my messages. Looks like I'm gonna have to raise hell in their message boards to see If I can get their attention and help us get this problem solved.

Okay, I did not know that so many people were active. Since I just posted it in the NHL league thread, I may as well post this here, also:

I am most available on weekends (Friday-Sunday). Through the week, I am guaranteed to be out of the house at the following hours due to school, commuting to and from school, and going to the gym, and thus NOT available. All times Pacific:

Monday/Wednesday: anytime before 2:30 P.M.; Weds. 6-8 P.M.
Tuesday/Thursday: anytime before 5:30 P.M. Thursday; before 8 P.M. Tuesday
 
Weav and I played our last game, and it was a great one. He dominated the 2nd and took a big lead into halftime, but I stormed back and squeaked out a one point win.

I'll be on for a while longer. If anyone else wants to play send me a message.
 
Yeah, the games I've played in this league are about 10,000 times better than random XBL matches. Rajon was pretty worthless this game, unfortunately. In retrospect, I probably should've left Cassell in (who went nuts off the bunch in like ten minutes). Regardless, it was a great game. There were probably about six or eight lead changes in the last five minutes. Unfortunately, Ray wasn't able to pull off the last minute heroics like he did against Juan C, and missed a shot at the buzzer.
 
I got kicked from live for some reason. I got a message that said something about my ethernet cable for a split second, then it kicked me. I tried to respond to your message but it says my message could not be sent. I have no idea what the problem is, my network didn't spike and I am connected. I dont know if that was 2k or something on my end. You can have the win since you were up by so much.
 
Me and XXXplosive1 had some connection issues tonight. We are counting the result of the first game we played since it was far into the 3rd and I had a big lead. The 2nd game on my home floor got disconnected in the 1st quarter, can we get that one reset? We're going to try again another time.
 
2K must be acting up, it said you lost the connection, then I was bumped back to the league page, then kicked off live. I played a NCAA football league game yesterday with no issues so I blame 2K.

Bumping my availability... Tonight and tomorrow, I will be out from 8 P.M.-2 A.M. Eastern. Otherwise, the schedule is accurate.

Seriously.

But obviously the league is slowing down a bit - it seems like most of the people who are around the most have played almost all of their games against each other. I'd still like to see it "finished," though, even if it's not in the sense that everyone plays their full schedule. What if we did just fastforwarded to the playoffs, but instead of doing the standings by winning percentage, we did it by games played, and broke ties with winning percentage?

Maybe that'll be extremely unpopular, but whatever. I've had a lot of fun playing games in this league and I'd like to see some sort of conclusion to it.
