NBA Street Homecourt (360) Thread - DLC IS OUT

i personally have not, but my friend has been having similar problems (although he has gotten to play games to the finish)

i personally love the online...it's really smooth with no lag whatsoever besides when trying to choose your players...i love it b/c it seems like i'm playing offline :)

I finally opened this game and played it. I finally beat Crackdown. SO I got 5 of 16 acheesements. I did do a trifecta finally. I couldn't do it in the demo and have only done it once so far. It is awesome. I really like this game. My guy is a level 3 or 4 after an hours or so of play. It is so much fun that I lose time.

EDIT: The fucking pushing in this game is really starting to turn me off

EDIT 2: I also like how I have 100 in fucking handles and 100 in steals and i can't rip shit from the computer and they strip me every time

You know, that's the funny thing about it. I don't have any lag while I'm playing, then I get blindsided with a "Disconnected from EA Servers" message and get kicked to the main menu.

Maybe I'll give it another shot this weekend. I am kind of wary of quick matches though, since I don't want people to think I'm quitting on them. I'll have to stick to the private sessions. :bomb:

it's timing for steals and for doing tricks...try not to do tricks directly in front of a defender too many times...once is alright twice on the same person in teh same time frame is really pushing it..especially on hard or expert difficulty

yea, it only freezes for me somtimes when i try to create a private room after i am about to select who to invite
 
I don't know how I feel about this game. I just beat the single player and felt bored after the first 1 hour since it is limited on moves. You have a couple options for dunks and crossovers. I just felt like there could have been more. I plan on sending it back today since I feel it would be the same online (outside the fact that the game would be harder since the reg game was very easy; this was with defaults).
 
Is there a correct way to do the crossovers and stuff? Because I just button mash and stuff, and are there more then through the legs and behind the back moves for 'Y'?

Also, I chose Dunk as my Freak skill, was that a good choice? What should be my Master skill at the end?

for the crossovers, go to practice mode and practice around...3 differnt crossover "styles" for X with no bumper, X with L bumper and X with R bumper...PLUS tapping, holding for a bit, and holding for a long time does different variations of teh crossovers

yes you can get away with buttonmashing for trick moves, but it's more fun when you do the move you want to do...same with the Y button moves..either dont use a modifier, use the L, or use the R bumper to modify the breakdown moves...plus they do differnt things when you're close to your defender too

and yes i chose dunk for my freak for my guy and it's a good choice if you want it to be easier to time double dunks...master skill in anything is good, really...for example, a master in dunking, you never mess up dunks, ever...a master in shooting, you can basically make everyshot within half court and some beyond half court too

hahahah, i've never seen that happened before.. guy went for a dunk, all three of my guys jumped at once, and the dude's leg got caught in the net! Everyone was standing around while the guy was just hanging upside down with his leg caught in the net.. I had to pause it because I was laughing so hard.

was it one of those "launch dunks" where you jump of the guys back? It happens on one of them when you hold the dunk button to long. It was pretty funny the first time it happened.

i'm actually more surprised by the pricing for the street legedns + jordan gear bundle...i honestly thought they would charge 800 for that stuff...i'm pleasantly surprised that they are only charging 300 (using the word "only" relative to the 800 i thought)...

300 for a single court is too much though
