I've been playing as Lloyd the whole game. What.
Why wouldn't you? He's the best character in the game.
TMK>>SuperPhillip
As if your opinion means anything to me. Go suck a dick, you $$$. I'm sure you'd enjoy it wonderfully.

Truly pathetic. Nice job, SuperPhillip.

I really like using Lloyd Irving in combat. His double sword is one reason I find playing battles as him enjoyable. All this ToS talk makes me want to play it right now (I beat it in 49 hours....roughly half my GC playtime was spent on that game).

Did anyone play Baten Kaitos on GC? I use to have the game (kind of miss it). I was beyond excited about the game before release, but what disappointed me was getting a horrible selection of cards in battle and not being able to do a thing (and losing a lot of life).

Nothing pathetic about taking down a bully.
Clever way to turn my words against me though. I'd be offended if I gave a shit anymore.

I just got a nasty PM from SuperPhillip telling me to die in the subject line
Worthless $$$$er.
Anyway, going to start Arc Rise Fantasia right now.

Yeah, some puerile, vulgar insult go that tough tough bully JSP really well.

EDIT: Oh shit, a homophobic remark, and then a clearly racist PM to TMK about his skin color........

Actually, now I don't think that's actually SuperPhillip, he doesn't usually post like that.
Something fishy going on.
I thought UT3 was $5 at gamestop? Guy who checked for me over the phone told me it was $8.99 used. :whistle2:|
you waited too long -- it was good through yesterday, I think.
@Frosty, yeah man, going to use a headset?
@Beef, He just looked at the sticker price. The game is on sale for 4.89 or something. I bought it today for 3.xx so it's still on sale. (2nd copy since it was complete)

And yeah, someone hacked ol' SuperPhillip's account:

Obviously not him.
I can try -- I don't know if it's charged... or if I ever paired it with my new slim.

I watched the Game Informer Replay video (good "lets play" style series with a mix of shitty and classic games) for DMC1 last night, which made me rebuy the game today.
It rang up $2.99 at gamestop!

I played about an hour. The game's atmosphere is still pretty great...its clearly a recut Resident Evil game, but even a bit darker + spooky. Combat is not as fast or easy as the subsequent action games it inspired, but it's still fun. Tough as hell.

Brings back lots of memories too-- its one of the first games I played for PS2 and it blew my mind. I remember thinking I had sprung a trap and lost the game after seeing Dante get impaled by Alastor. Also, the spiral staircase was really impressive for some reason.

I just bought mine today, it was priced at $8.99 on the case itself and it came out to be $5. Maybe he just assumed or only looked at the price on the case?

I played through DMC1 again last year. The combat's definitely not as good as what DMC3 had, but the game is still fun as hell. The gameplay feels really different for some reason... maybe it's the pacing. It's more adventure-ish.

I doubt I'll ever get around to the first three DMC games unless they release a PS3 compilation. Too much on my backlog already.

Thanks everyone for the point-and-click adventure game suggestions. I've actually played some of the Nancy Drew games. The voice actor for Nancy is terrible. Some of the puzzles can be interesting to figure out, and some are just kinda frustrating.
Did anyone play Baten Kaitos on GC?
I did, it was one of my favorite game on the GC. I agree that sometimes the game would give you awful cards which could lead to basically impossible boss battles (until you tried again and didn't get a hand of cards that was basically useless); but personally I could look past that and ended up loving the game. Also, the voice acting was often times so bad it was good, haha; and the attempt at making everyone's voices sound like they were echoing also added to that.

I didn't like Baten Kaitos Origins though; they completely remade the battle system and I didn't think it was as fun; and the way the story was progressed felt horribly restrictive in comparison to the first game; for instance times where you have to talk to maybe three people in an exact order in a town to progress the story but when you talk to someone involved out of order they don't help you at all and just say their standard useless text. I basically just gave up on Origins because I wasn't enjoying it at all.

That bluetooth headset never has worked right with my PS3. Shit's broken and stupid.

I should trade it in, it's been like 6 months since I've even tried to use it. Along with the eyetoy.

Hot damn $16 for that bluetooth headset. I'll take it.

PS Eye is only $6. I suppose I'll keep it in case something awesome comes out for the move. But I don't see that happening.

Disagree. DMC3 was average far as I'm concerned -- DMC was definitely superior in every way for me. Introducing the "styles" fucked up the gameplay, not in a good way. Though this probably explains why I loved playing as Nero in DMC4 -- I've hated playing as Dante ever since DMC3 and the introduction of styles.
It's still on sale today.

DMC HD would be nice.
Damn right. I'd buy DMC Collection just for DMC HD.

I think maybe it's the last day for UT3 to be on sale though.

Finished the campaign in Starcraft 2. Now I just can't wait till the next part of the story.

Going through the three 'other' choices missions in the campaign now. It really has the best campaign of any "traditional" rts I've ever played. The missions are super-varied.

Yeah, he rang it up, and the price dropped to $4.90-ish.
Castlevania HD is ok.
It's great if you have a crew to play with... just finished Hard Mode tonight and got some pretty awesome loot. I'm really digging it now.

I beat the Alien and Predator campaigns last night because I was reallllly bored and now I'm calling the game done. fuck Space Marines! The ending for Predator's story was fucking cool. The last level of the Alien's was cool, too, just not as cool as the Predator.

Also, the Alien's ability to run on any surface is the only time I've gotten actually motionsick enough to throw up in a game.

I finished Singularity (campaign) on Fri night and am nearly done with the online, I'm sick of playing it online TBH but now I've come this far I'm determined to get the Achievement for playing 100 games.

Also co-oped some Borderlands, that game is so awesome.

Really? At worst I got confused whether I was on the roof or ground.

I never had a problems with that because of the little reticle, I had a problem with going into a vent or other tight spaces and finding out that the Alien is apparently coated in lube and ricochets all over the vent and it just made me sick.
