Thanks for the code, didn't apply anything though because I didn't want them coming back saying it wasn't valid on clearance or trying to cancel the order on me.

Well, I have to get going. Been up since 9 am yesterday and I'm beat. I had been hoping that this would be good online and got my wishes answered.

Thank you CC for the $9.99 site update. I got Nanobreaker, Yu Yu Hakusho: Tournament Tactics, and KOF: Collectors Edition. All games I wanted. Makes my life all the more easier when I go instore to look for just Baiten Katos and Transformers. :D

How come BK doesn't say SOLD OUT (like for POP:WW)?

I was able to get one copy of BK and check out around 3am (Pacific).

I'm working a third shift, getting out there @ 11am is gonna be tough when I get to bed at 7:30am...mainly just for Baiten Kaitos.

Baiten Kaitos adds to cart but shows OOS when you try to checkout. None of my other picks (.hack, viewtiful joe, etc) are on the website. :(

Oddly it says Kaitos isn't available for instore pickup at my local store, but I saw at least one copy at the store last night while I was in there pricing CD players for my wife...
 
I got Ridge Racer DS, Nanobreaker, and Rumble Roses like 20 mins ago. Sadly Baten Kaitos was unavailable to ship. That saves me my CC runs though, and I'm thankful for that. That was CRAZY. I fell asleep at like 12 or 1 PST and I got up, saw the clock said 3 and I told my bro to hit refresh on the PS2 game list at CC's website and whaddya know I shot up with lightning speed to checkout when he said theres a bunch of 9.96 games. I quickly checked out since I already put those 4 games in my cart anticipating this and I'm a pretty happy camper. Now I'm deciding whether or not to place another order. Missing that Baten Kaitos just leaves a feeling of emptyness.

i dunno....maybe a CC rep has to manually turn the "sold out" thing on or something....and the other ones might've been sold out for a while now

it's not unusual for something to be "in-stock" at CC, but not really be in-stock

Ha, sweet - just ordered the only game I really wanted from this whole sale, Project Snowblind for Xbox, from the website. Yeah, I had to pay $2 shipping, but at least I didn't have to drive down to the local CC and take on a chance on them not having it in stock.

Waking up early for the start of a sale and skipping the hassle of going to the store by shopping online is great. :)

Does CC let you return online orders at the B&M stores?

My order already went through but I'm having second thoughts about King of Fighters, especially if it's Maximum Impact... that's the crappy 3D KOF, right?

Thats what I almost did, but my CC has so many KOF and SRS laying around that I'm restraining myself online to just leave it to chance to pick then up IF I decide to go to CC and IF I see them. I sorta want to check for GTA Double pack, cause it has a shiny box but I'm really on no rush to CC anymore.
 
Weird, but looking at the games, there's really nothing that special about the sale... save a few good deals. Most of the games are available for $15 new with a gamer card, and some of them are actually more expensive than buying them new at EB. Bummer.
 
What did everyone order so far? There really wasn't a lot I was interested in. The few that did catch my interest were either not on the site or sold out.

I only ordered the 3 I mentioned earlier, Ridge Racer, Rumble Roses, and Nanobreaker. I should really go to sleep so I don't fall into temptation and order more, but I sorta want to watch this thread as the East Coasters get up and go for it. I want to know what to expect should I decide to go out to CC later.

This is the imporant fact about this sale . . . $10 is on the high side for a clearance game.

I'm going to go at opening (10am here) and see what I can do . . . but I don't have my hopes up.
 
I just like DS games...no real good reason to pick up Ridge Racer (esp. since i own a PSP) but i like playing my DS. Weird.

And Kaitos was just one of those "Aw hell, lets play through half an rpg again" type deals :)

The Successful Dropout, you should look at this weeks flyer. Mine says 11am and the store locator says 11am.

I was able to place one order this morning, but most of the stuff was out of stock. I was curious about one thing. Did anyone see any of their cart items as being in stock at their B&M stores when they checked out? I didn't and it makes me wonder if I need to go to check it out this morning.
 
Disregard that, the only reason it states that it is not available because video games are simply not available for in-store pickup.

For example, on the actual page where you add the game to your cart it says the following:

"In Stores
Online purchases available for shipping only "

You're right. Generally, CC doesn't allow game pickup from its web site. Too early in the morning for me. I was thinking it of the BestBuy web site.

Me either, but I'm price adjusting two games I want that I alrady bought, I hid two more in a foolproof spot, and I'm sure King of Fighters won't sell out.

I'm good to go, and don't need to worry about online.
 
For those who want Baten Kaitos, it's back in stock at the website. Project:Snowblind is still available as well.

I knew I went to bed too early last night.

I thought I wouldn't even have to drive anywhere when I saw all the games I wanted in stock, but of course when I went to check out I got hit by this too.

Ah well, looks like i'm making the trip to CC in a little under an hour.
