pretty good considering that "and knowlegeis half the battle" is a GI Joe PSA and not a transformers one

They were a ton of games at my local CC, but sadly no MM:AV nor POPWW.

If any has a spare MMAV I'd like to buy for $15 shipped, or I could trade it for KOF, Socom+mic or some other CC game if interested (My CC had a ton of stuff) PM me if interested.

The point is they don't have to go out and get a real job, if you're talking about people from fatwallet who do this. This way they can be 40 and still live at home, while making a $2 per game and sitting on the internet all day.

Well I got Prince of Persia: Warroir Within and that's it

I don't have a DS yet, but I almost bought Ridge Racer and then decided against it, I'm waiting for some better games (Trace Memory) to come out plus I want white version... so I figured by that time I wouldn't really bother with it.

I helped one guy by pointing out several titles that were $9.99 since he didn't have a list...neither did I, but I helped with what I could remember. I think he only got Rainbow Six w/headset though. I'm not totally sure. He left while I was rummaging through the store for Project: Snowblind (Xbox or PS2) in vain.

I managed to get Bloodrayne 2 (Xbox), Baten Kaitos, and Nanobreaker. :) Thanks OP!
 
went to four circuit citys in Orange County, CA, and only found one game I wanted which was Project Snowblind. Saw a couple of CAG's. Did anybody see any Silent Hill 3's at there CC? And is KOF:MI anygood? A CC in fullerton has three of them and i'm thinking of picking one up.
 
I just picked up SSX 3 and Baten Kaitos. There's one more baten kaitos at chico CA.

I also got Guilty Gear Isuka from EB for 20.
 
Went to two different CCs in the San Fernando Valley and managed to get Bloodrayne 2, Project Snowblind, and Ridge Racer DS. It took a lot of rummaging around, though. One of the CCs didn't have a bin out, just everything all on the racks in no discernable order.

Anyway, this is my first post after lurking for about a year and I wanted to say I love this site and want to thank everyone who contributes. I can't believe I used to pay $50 regularly for games! Through this site in the past two months alone I got about ten new games (all good) for me and my daughter and barely spent over $100 total.

Went today around 4 PM. I had already bought the two games I wanted earlier in the week and took me receipt in to get the difference. I paid $60 for the two games earlier and got $46 back today...not bad at all.

I also went to check to see if they still had the two games I bought. To my surprise, they still had 4 or 5 copies of the GC Madden 2005 but they didn't have any Prince of Persia 2 so I'm glad I bought my game early.
 
I picked up Mega Man Anniversary Collection (no copies were in the box, I found one still marked as $30 in the GC section), Nanobreaker, Robotech: Invasion, F-Zero GX, GTA Double Pack, and LOTR: ROTK (not on clearance but on sale for $7.99).
 
I returned four games I'd purchased earlier this week to their original location, after having scored the same titles at a much closer CC this morning. (I realize this was not necessary, but the further store typically has JACK for games, so I figured I'd give someone else a shot.) The cashier seemed annoyed and told me that next time it'd be easier to price match. Fair enough.

So, PRICE MATCH AWAY! They encourage it!
 
I went to 2 Circuit City stores today. I wasn't able to find Prince of Persia 2 but I was able to pick up Mega Man AC, SSX3, and 007 Everything or Nothing. Also, the price for each game $9.96 not $9.99.
 
Got to my store late, about 45 minutes after they opened. But the employees hadn't even finished putting out the games, so it worked out ok. No Mega Man or PoPWW, but they had quite a bit of the other stuff. I decided to just get Project Snowblind since I still have a lot of other games/DVD's to keep me busy.

Bought it for under $10 on eBay sometime this year. I like the expansion mode where you can create your own team from an expansion draft...you also get to choose from a bunch of fantasy team names/mascots for your team name. I like all of the fantasy ballparks in the game, too (you even get to choose a fantasy ballpark for your expansion team).

Overall, not very polished and I hate playing defense in the game, but it's a very serviceable game. Worth $10, but it isn't in my baseball video game rotation much...MLB 2006's career mode is the stuff.

I went to the Tustin CC and the CC on Bristol. The CC on Bristol had a much better selection (2 POP:WW, a few RR, Snowblind, Baten Kaitos, F-Zero GX, THUG 2,R63, SRS, Capcom vs. SNK, Breakdown, and Riddick come to mind). I ended up picking up 2 copies of Snowblind (1 for a friend), 2 copies of KOF:MI, POP:WW, and F-Zero GX. I got everything I wanted

Well, thanks for the info. For 10 bucks I thought I would pick it up, if not just for the franchise mode. I heard it was deep. But I'll have to keep my eye out on MLB 2006 then too if you like the career mode of that one. I loved the coach mode in MVP 2004, but 2005 it seemed exactly the same, so I was uninterested. I usually rotate baseball games every three years. EA, Sega/VC, some other, back to EA. It seems that 3 years is usually how long it takes to have something of significance added to a series.

Does anyone know if target price matches? I know my Sears will, but I've only seen Baten Kaitos there, and I'm really only interested in PoP: WW and the RotK (7.99).

Got to my CC in Chicago at 11:05. They had most of the games on the list and at least one that wasn't, Madden 2005 for DS. I picked up the following...

The only game I wanted that they didn't have was Nanabreakers. All in all a good day.
 
I picked up Thief, Brute Force, Amped 2, Transformers, Siren and my GF bought Spyro. I wish I could have found Baiten Katos and Rallisport 2 though.
 
Anyone else have trouble PMing today's price drop? I picked up five titles, and when I brought the receipt to the customer service desk, they acted as though they were doing me a favor by dropping off $20 from each game. When I pointed out the 110% on both competitor and CC sales, the guy I was talking to said the manager was basically being nice enough to give me the $20 off each, and wouldn't do an extra 10% off, since this is supposedly a "two-day sale, which is not the same as a regular sale". I'm contemplating calling their corporate office to discuss this, and wondered if anyone else ran into this problem.

Shrike, I know you've discussed these matters w/ CC's corporate offices, any advice?

Went to CC around noon or so and damn they had a TON of games.I got:

POP:WW GCN(for trade BTW)

They had tons!4 copies of RS3/w headset,8 copies of KOF,7 copies of RR.I got the only PoP though.Second CC had not too much left.

Did have a Baten Kaidos and a.Hack.

Didnt find but wanted:Nanobreaker PS2 and MLB:Loaded XBOX

No Target no longer price matches and hasn't done so for probably about 3 years now.
 
I went to my local CC at around 3:30. There was no bin, nothing was priced properly, but there were plenty of games on the list on the shelves. I gathered up a few I was interested in to get a price check, but the place was packed and I didn't feel like waiting in the gargantuan line.

They didn't let me get the 10% difference either... they said they couldn't do it since they were clearance games. They PM to $9.96.

I'm thinking about going back later (or perhaps to a different CC) and asking for the 10% difference.

And what's this about your CC store saying the sale being only 2-days? I thought it was for the whole month.
 
I didn't know so many people wanted Megaman and SNK vs. Capcom, or else I would have picked them up for you guys :(. Mine had 6 or 7 or each, and no one was going for them.

Unfortunately, my trip there today (I'm new to this area) took a metro ride there plus a bike ride, and I probably won't have time to make another trip.

I'm thinking about going back later, though I don't want to continue wasting time for $10.

I think the guy was confusing the flier w/ this game sale. The flier explicitly says it's for today and Monday, and says some games are marked down to $9.99. Regardless, these games should still qualify for another 10% off, at least from everything I've read.

Watch the old Transformers on DVD if you'd like to see them. They exist. (I know they are definitely on season 3). They are almost word for word rip offs of the GI Joe public service announcements and they end with "And knowing is half the battle!"

BTW-- Ended up going back for the game. It's not as bad as I had feared. Of course, I wasn't expecting much from it... Worth $10 though.
 
I scouted out my local CCs awhile ago and didn't find any of the games on the list so I wasn't expecting anything. I didn't go to a CC until 2pm today and they had tons of the games from the list in a bin, so they apparently did pull them from the shelves well in advance. I picked up Spyro (Xbox), Project: Snowblind (Xbox) & Brute Force (Xbox). I was tempted by RS3 w/ headset & Thief but passed. I was hoping to find Pitfall, but didn't. I will check another CC tomorrow. Pretty happy with my purchases. Spyro is simple, but a lot of fun. More fun than Conker single player surprisingly, plus my daughter can play with me.
