This is interesting and I know we have discussed this much before, but now starting today you can download the VUDU mobile app and just scan the bar code of a movie ONLY AT YOUR PHYSICAL ADDRESS and then pay $2 for SD, $5 for HD. Works for apple and android.

Questions-

Does it offer the 50% discount after 10 like original?

Any UHD conversions?

Can only be used at your physical address, but scanning bar codes from websites or cover sites work?

I received an email from Roku titled 'Hidden gem channels—discover your new favorites to stream!' that included a $5 Vudu credit code at the bottom of the advertisements.
Thanks for the spy and the share. Time to crawl thru my email...

EDIT: No luck. Mine was from Jan. 20 and seems to be expired (maybe I already used it?). Gotta keep a better eye on this.

30% off code for Vudu (doesn't work on Disc-to-Digital purchases):

VMDDJU88MJFAQQS5

https://www.vudu.com/content/redeem.html?pn=generic

The fine print says that the offer is non-transferable so I'm not sure if it's tied to my account or if somebody else can redeem it, but I have no use for it anyway.

Fine print:

Must redeem by 4/22/2018 by 11:59pm PDT.
Credits must be used within 7 days from redemption.
This offer is non-transferable.
Movies are only available in the US and customers must be 18 years of age or older to open a Vudu account.
Limit one per customer.
Eligible for use on ONE title on Vudu.
Credit cannot be used on Disc + Digital or Mix & Match purchases.

Code is gone/redeemed.  Thanks for the heads up, gamerdad101.

Already redeemed but thanks for posting.

That Vudu credit is just $3.50 today.
But it's going to be every Tuesday in June, so buckle up!

I finished off digitizing the X-Men movies, but the sync between my two Ultraviolet accounts is excruciatingly slow. I keep fearing it's going to not work anymore, defaulting to Movies Anywhere, but I look back and see it worked fine before.

I feel really silly I just discovered this. Was using the credit on cheap rentals before.

Anyone have any recommendations? I just got, Pan's Labyrinth, You're Next, Darkman, Repo Man, and They Live.

I realize you can go to the pain in the ass spreadsheet and try to find upgradable titles and barcodes but I have found this is not the most user friendly way (there is a lot of outdated information there which leads to aimless searching).

Contributing to this thread with high value upgradable titles and corresponding barcodes. Would love to see others add their recommendations on barcodes they got to work (please post barcode with high value recommendations as this is the biggest pain in this process as there are multiple barcodes for different movies but only a fraction of them are recognized by Vudu as being eligible for a disc to digital upgrade).

Ok.. came here from a link in another part of CAG, did not know about D2D from Vudu..

Long story short, opened up my Breaking Bad blu-ray box set to see if I could add it, and not only did the UV redeem code sheet come out... but 2 copies of the codes. (different codes)

Even though it says expires 12-2017 I was able to redeem the digital box set in UV and able to watch in Vudu.

so.... the other copy of the codes.  :whistle2:$

Seasons 1-2

CSB3HCZZDHT6EZJ5

Seasons 3-4
CSBFSJQ036UTW312

Season 5-Final
CSBAVKDWT3K3RUN1

Code sheet 1 worked for me.. hopefully code sheet 2 works for some quick user here.

Some Other Bundles

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - The Ultimate Edition / Man of Steel
Home Alone 5-Movie Collection
Planet of the Apes Trilogy (2017)
Riddick Collection
X-Men: The Beginnings Trilogy - (First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse)

Pretty good bundle deals right now through Vudu https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/uipage/End-of-Year-Sale/88/50-Off-Bundles/3?minVisible=0

I went to do Walmart Grocery Pickup and they were handing out 50% off next Vudu purchase vouchers (not generic/scannable) which paired with the bundle deals above make for a pretty good deal.

I was able to purchase The Strain: The Complete Series HDX (Seasons 1-4) for about $12.50 total doing this. Eyeing going back for another voucher (assuming my Vudu account allows more than one 50% off voucher to be redeemed) to see if I can get The Last Man On Earth: The Complete Series HDX for $12.50 as well.

If I get some extra 50% off Vouchers I will indicate I have some later on and whoever contacts me first can have one.

Other Notable Bundle Deals:

-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Complete Series (HDX Bundle) $25.00 (would be $12.50 with 50% off voucher) https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/details/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-The-Complete-Series-Bundle-/953502

-24: The Complete Series HDX (Seasons 1-7 + Live Another Day 24 TV Movie) $39.99 (would be $19.99 after 50% off voucher) https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/details/24-The-Complete-Series-including-24-Live-Another-Day-Bundle-/591663

-Hannibal: The Complete Series (Seasons 1-3, HDX) $6.99 (probably not worth using the 50% Voucher on) https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/details/Hannibal-The-Complete-Series-Bundle-/733758

-Arrested Development HDX (Seasons 1-3) $17.99 ($8.99 after using 50% off voucher) https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/details/Arrested-Development-The-First-Three-Seasons-Bundle-/442091

An old one I didn't know about: The Saw 8-Movie Collection converts for $2: https://www.barcodespider.com/031398297307

Spreadsheet of all movies available on disc to digital: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IgK7tIEKngP59PUOs_lsF4P1hbSRIG71tgxncpu1Mws/edit#gid=402351217
Got the Saw collection. Thanks. I wish they would include Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm St collections. You can't even get all the movies separate at $2 each because only the first few movies in each series have compatible blu rays

I still have my Nightmare Box set from years ago on DVD, will never give it up but a high def digital version for cheap would make my day. That Saw bundle for $2 tho was great

The Saw bundle is it Movie Anywhere or just on Vudu? Everything I've scanned so far has been Movie Anywhere but this one collection.

I have that one too. I think I paid about $130 for it way back when, which is just insane. Also it takes up so much shelf space. The embossed box cover sure is amazing though

$20 brand new. Buddy got it in at a local CD store that also did DVD trade ins. Owner gave some moron 5 bucks for, told my buddy to open and spilt all the discs out then toss the 3D glasses, case, whole shebang. Like wtf? So buddy called me, had me bring in a couple older DVDs and a crisp Jackson, I walked out with the box. This was also like 18 years ago

did the year limit just reset for anyone today 12/31?

i was blocked out a few days ago, but can scan again today.

the thing about a few days ago was, i only had done 75ish but was blocked. i assumed because each film in a bundle was counting towards my limit.

i need to know if the reset happened yet. if it is still counting towards 2018 i will do more but if the 2019 reset happened then i will stop for now so i don't hit max yet.

The reset is supposed to be rolling, not a hard date. Say you scan 50 in February and 50 in March, you can scan 50 more the next February.

They did a hard reset last year at the beginning of the year.  They did another hard reset Jan. 1 this year.  I purchased all 100 titles in Nov. - Dec of 2018 and am now able to purchase 100 new titles as of Jan. 1.  I've purchased about 20 so far.

Despite a claim on their website that the reset is rolling, it is not.  It's reset in Jan. for the last 2 years.

I wish they would give people 24 hours with this promotion... Not everyone works during the day.

Edit: Though looking at the email I'm not seeing an expiration on the offer.

Glad I browsed this thread.. almost bought the Saw collection at walmart just for the digital copies, good thing I didn't because $2 is a way better price.. I also got A Quiet Place which I am also glad I didn't buy in stores because I thought it sucked

I think I saw Vudu takes Walmart gift cards.  Does anyone know if this is correct?  Trying to limit the amount of sites that have my credit card after getting hacked
