Fyi, they sent me the PC copy of Shadowrun instead of the Xbox 360 copy. Don't know if this has happened to anyone else but just thought I would mention it.

You aren't the only one. Seems that they will refund your money and just let you keep the PC version.
Are you kidding me? After all this they are still sending out used copies? Did anyone who received a replacement copy actually get a new one or did they just send another used one out?
I bet the majority don't even know it's resealed, or just don't care.

So I contacted Newegg customer service after receiving the PC version of Shadowrun yesterday, and this was their response:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Newegg.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. After checking, we show there is no mention of the version on the item page. Unfortunately Newegg does not have a technical department. Therefore, we are unable to determine the item condition. Please contact Microsoft at 1-800-642-7676 or on http://www.microsoft.com/ to confirm whether the item does not match what we show. After the confirmation, please reply to this email. We will then help you with further issues at that time.
I guess they need a technical department to tell the difference between a 360 game, and a PC game?

I'm going to contact customer service over the phone today, and if they don't offer an immediate resolution, I'm just going to file a chargeback and be done with it.

To be fair to newegg, You really paid money for shadowrun like real money for that game?

Thats messed up on neweggs part if they don't offer a resoulution fast i would just demand my refund and have them pay for shipping. Its their fault. Link me to the page the game was on does it say xbox 360?

Not only does it say Xbox 360, it says it in the page title, the category, and the screenshot of the box - I don't know how the CSR could have possibly determined it was even slightly inconclusive.

As for the game itself, the reviews average out to around a 7/10, which seems decent enough for the cost. I'm not expecting much more than a week or two of entertaining multiplayer.
Ordered Bourne Conspiracy 360 and that's what they sent. Has CoA seal.
Worth $16? I'm a huge fan of the Bourne movie franchise, but the shooting bits just look terrible in every video review I've watched. How is the hand to hand? That's how I'd play the game mostly anyway. Would like to hear about the vehicle bits too, since those are cornerstones of the films.

Well, I contacted Newegg customer service again, and received a credit for the purchase price of Shadowrun. This is the 2nd time they've shipped me the wrong version of this game, so I have two free copies of the PC version of the game. I wonder at this point if they ever had the 360 version in stock.

The only upside is that these come with 1-month "Games For Windows" Live Gold trials, which I was able to successfully add to my Xbox Live account... so if nothing else, I got 2 free months of Live out of it.

Aye...damn shame too. I was waiting on money to come in before I bought it, then it jumped back to 20 before I had a chance to snag it. Perhaps it'll drop again soon enough.

Just buy the 2008 Edition (all expansions) for $15 at GameStop. The one listed on Newegg is missing the Wings of the Goddess expansion, which is $15-20 on it's own.

Just picked up Dark Sector and Splinter Cell. Dark Sector's really worth getting at this price, since it's pretty much the price of a rental.

:360: Enchanted Arms went back up to $38. I know it wasn't on the list officially but it was actually a decent deal at $17, since it's apparently still a pretty expensive game.

A friend of mine, who is pretty easy going about gaming quality , said enchanted arms was the worst game he ever played. it's gonna have to dip lower than 16 for me. of course i've seen it used at GC for 7.

Got my Dark Sector 360 yesterday-case was a little hacked up, but not bad enough to really bitch about too much.
enchanted arms is the worst, grindiest RPG, which isn't necessarily bad if a game has a good battle system, which EA doesn't,
Okay, I'm glad I held out. I had heard it was not too great, so it just seems weird that it's so expensive. We just got our 360 and my g/f wants more RPG's. We have Blue Dragon right now though, and I think that's a really great game so far.

I think tomorrow I'm going to be buying a bunch of these titles, I can't hold out any longer.

i really liked the battle system in EA (golems, semi-strategic battle) and i didn't find it to be grindy at all. i guess i felt that it was really underrated. the super gay character is hilarious

Get Lost Odyssey and a cheap copy of Eternal Sonata.

Makoto is fabulous! *warning this youtube will make you want to buy EM*

Enchanted Arms was "Ok." when it first came out. There wasn't much to buy for the 360 at the time. Now that more RPGs are out I probably wouldn't pay more then $15 or so for it. It's worth a play through though, especially for Makoto.

I wouldn't spend $15 on Legendary. Spark Unlimited should be shot for fucking up this game and Turning Point, which were both promising deviations from the standard FPS.

Legendary has some issues but it was a blast to play. Well worth spending $15 on.

I beat it, which is more than I can say for Fallout 3 and FarCry 2.

I just wanted to say that Blue Dragon for $13 is a really good price, and I recommend it. I bought it ages ago for $20, and finally started playing it - 20 or so hours in and I'm really enjoying it. I think the battle system is pretty unique and the graphics are incredible, a little on the cartoony side but looks great. I also really like not having random battles (although I usually kill every enemy I run across anyway, it's nice to control that). However, I am finding it to be extremely easy - I don't know if it's going to get harder soon, but it's not really dampening the fun anyway. The hard part is deciding if using my penny guide for it is cheating or not - I want those achievements and some of them, it looks like it'll be hard to get them without the guide.
Debating on legendary. Reviews were not that great. Hope it drops to 9.99.
Its awful. The controls suck, the grahpics are poor, and there's no trophies for the PS3.

Which makes it really worthless in my opinion :(

You couldnt pay me to play it again.. the online play is cool.

Except no one plays it, and it lags horribly unless you're the host.

Extremely easy, you say? You can get the Ultra Hard DLC for free that should help with that a little (^_^)

Oh I didn't know about this - sweet! Looks like we'll be going through it again at a harder level after we finish this time around (excpet now I have about 5 new games coming from newegg - when will I find time for this!)

Man, that Legendary demo was atrocious. It ensured I wouldn't buy it at any price. The controls sucked, the graphics were strange, the enemies were stupid. I don't know, that game just seemed like a bad idea. Then again, I watched that Giant Bomb video where the GameCock (the publisher of the game) guy just makes fun of the game as they played it, and it made me feel as if the game shouldn't be taken seriously and was crap.

Caved on Dark Sector. Just got a new HDTV and the 360 version I think will look nice on it with how dark the game looks. Also Cheapy's recommendation sold me on it.

This really is one of my favorite threads to check on CAG. Newegg rules on the deals as of late.

It was really that bad? The reviews weren't great, but they weren't super terrible. I mean I have more interest in that game than I do in "realistic" or spastic shooters like Call of Duty.

I would have probably caved, but it's out of stock (says auto-notify for $58...no thanks :D )

oi well got another shadowrun pc version after clearly asking did i get 360 version and even says on my slip that I ordered 360 version so now i have two pc versions of shadorun :p

I hope some more 360 games come onto the list soon, especially some of the ones on the supposed BB list. Also, if Bourne dropped to $10 they could consider me sold.

Has the $40 PS3 EndWar + official headset been mentioned in this thread? I know there was a separate thread, and it's clearly more than $15, but it's a great deal, and you could always view it as a $40 headset with a free game.

Anyway, I bought it. I'm sure you appreciate me sharing.
