I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again: $10 for Arcade Unplugged is a steal. Yeah, it sucks that you need the disc in to play the games, but come on. At less than $2 a game, that's a small price to pay. Plus, the "expired" 1-month subs probably still work, too, making the deal even better.
 
I don't know why the thread title has "PSP" in the title since none of those games listed are PSP...I was hoping for Motorstorm PSP for $15

It's been maybe 6 months since I bought Arcade Unplugged from Newegg. The 1 month code worked just fine.

It's playable but slow and lots of loading-- pretty shoddy port jobs, really. (And IIRC someone discovered they're actually using bootleg ROMs of MS6 for it-- pretty funny!)
 
You're right about the loading but if someone doesn't have a PS2 or Wii, they should still play it on the PSP because they're a great collection of games.

On a related note, I'm playing Spectral Souls on PSP right now, and the loading is the worst I have ever seen but I'm still enjoying the game because it has a great combat system. Point is, gameplay is more important than technical shortcomings especially on the PSP.

Figured as much. For the longest time, people were still redeeming codes from the original Xbox.

Coming from a big fan of the Resistance series, I was really disappointed in this one. The figure is so-so, the artbook is small, and the extras disc is nothing special. When it was announced, I was so hyped about the chronology video. I loved reading the official, alternate history timeline they did around the time of Resistance, so I figured we'd be getting a long video that really detailed everything. It ended basically being a trailer.

Anyway, I paid full retail for it, so at $40, it'd be much easier to deal with the disappointment, considering the game is still $60 and is a great game at that.
 
For those that have received resealed games and complained to Newegg, what did you write in your complaint? I'm not sure whether I should be asking for a refund, another copy of the game or just let Newegg offer me something.

For those who are still interested and might have missed the killer Steam deal over the holidays.

I really enjoyed playing it on the computer with the xbox controller. A lot of the LIVE games are fun to get cheap and play on the computer to see the differences graphically, etc. I noticed more of a difference in Fallout 3 between console and PC than with GTA IV, but Fallout 3 had a lot more graphic options on the PC version versus GTA IV.
 
Really want Mirrors edge but the resealing hmmm.

Edit: Went ahead and ordered it. If it has a bad case ill just play it and sell it to gamestop.

I want Castlevania Judgement... but I will wait for it to be $10 or less. I am a huge Castlevania fan, but it isn't worth more than that to me. I am interested in it, that is all. Plus the music alone... ::drool::
 
I was wavering yesterday on the $15 Amazon price for Mirror's Edge, but couldn't pull the trigger. $10 did it for me -- in for 1.

I've taken to ordering from their website anymore since I save money on gas/car, plus so far everything's new.

In store, basically unless the game is a super new, popular release, it's used.

EDIT: One time they actually FORGOT TO PUT THE "NEW" GAME DISC BACK IN THE BOX! I got home with...an empty "new" box :lol:
 
yeah I bought a copy of DMC4 PC and when I opened it up the disc had finger prints on it. I guess newegg is the new gamestop for online game shopping lol

Still better than GS. The Case & Cover Art look much better than GS & the Disc is look dirty.
 
Why don't they have Guilty Gear 2 on PS3? I just don't get it.

A PSX game that ultimately ends up as a 360 exclusive? -.-

Good thing Overture isn't a fight game, or it would be truly disappointing.

As for Guilty Gear not being on the PS3? Yeah It's kinda wierd, but looking at estimated sales It probably would have done just as bad on the PS3. I'm guessing if enough people beg they could put it on PSN, but then you'll have to pay $20 and never see a deal for $9 like you see now.

That game is very much worth $7. I think I bought it for $10, and I had a freakin' blast. I actually just (a few minutes ago) found a buddy to boost the multiplayer achievements with me.
 
I had (finally) ordered Mirror's Edge 360 as well for the $10. Received today, appropriately truly new/sealed.

Just bit on Viking and KOF for $8 a piece, as well as Eat Lead for $10. I've played Viking and KOF very briefly back when my backlog was epic and ended up trading them in because it was gonna be a while before I got to them. Enjoyed both, though. For less than $26 and free shipping for all 3, I figured why not.
