NHL 09 CAG Team - CAG Game Night - Fridays @ 10 PM EST

Yo, Pure, add me back to the team please. It's Wpark83. I'm sure the person in question is Tootsieroll69 and he doesn't speak for me. The same goes for DestroVega. Whatever problem he had was is own problem, but I enjoy playing with you guys. We knew he wasn't a member of CAG when we told you to send him an invite, we just thought he'd be able to paly a lot since he liked the game. Thanks.

Yes it was Tootsieroll69 and then he requested that I remove you guys as well.
 
ok.. lemme set this story straight as there is no dubious stuff going on on CAG's end...

I will say I am really pissed off at my brother, Tootsieroll69. Here is the short story.

He is not a member of the CAG site, as me and my other brother Wpark83 are. We signed up for the team, and then my other brother, who is not a member of CAG, told me he was getting the game and I told him about the team. So I asked Apathy to put him on the team, not thinking it was too big a deal.

I get a call from my brother last night saying no one is ever on to play (not true) and that he wanted 2 of his friends to join. I told him that wasn't possible, and he should start his own if he wanted to play with them. We never asked to leave the team, but he got us kicked somehow.

My brother Wpark83 and I would like to be re-added back to the team, but with the problems you had with my other less intelligent brother, I wouldn't blame you if you won't allow us back. You aren't doing this for your health, you are doing something good for a bunch of other people and I appreciate it.

Sorry for the problems, I guess I shouldn't try to do nice things for people. They end up screwing me over in the end!

I will add you and Wpark83 back in tonight after I get off work unless someone else beats me to it. I wasn't sure if you guys would want to leave the team along with him or not so I went ahead and removed both of you when tootsieroll asked me to. I figured if you guys wanted back on the team we could just re invite you.

What does that GM column mean when you're looking at the roster of the team? When I looked at it last night, I saw FrankySox^ and Matt ( I think was their name) had a check mark in their box. I try to check the locker room once a night, but I haven't run into any cags in there as of yet. I've played goalie a couple times and I think I'm getting the hang of it.
 
Theres 4 GMS.
GMS have control of the roster and jersey settings and such.
Franky, Matt, Apathy and me are GMs.
All invites have been sent out.
 
Ok guys, here's the announcement for the big changes I was thinking about making to the team.

Either tonight or tomorrow night, I will be deleting everyone off of the team and will be doing away with the current CAG team. But fear not, because a new CAG team will rise like a phoenix from the ashes with a clean record.

We also noticed that some players stats are not being saved the right way, and we are hoping this will also fix that problem. So if you get online later tonight or tomorrow night and see you are no longer apart of the team, just wait 20 minutes or so and you should have a new invite waiting for you and you'll be able to rejoin the team.

We are going to take care of this as quickly as possible.

Not sure if we'll be doing the new squad tonight or not. I'm waiting to do it on a night when a few co GMs can help me out with invites. There is one other co GM who can do it tomorrow night, so I'm just going to plan it for then.

By the way, you have a pending invite from Sean if you decide you want to play some games tonight or tomorrow before we do the switch.
 
has the team been wiped already, or did I get bounced too?

Hey guys here's another update for you. We are going to switch everything over tomorrow night around 9:30 EST/8:30 CST. So try to have your games finished up by then.

I expect it to take us no longer than 20-30 minutes to have everything ready to go once again.
 
No plan for 2 clubs (AHL/NHL) after all or is it too much work?

If you plan to do it, keep the current team as the AHL team and the new team as the NHL.

It sounded like a lot of people didn't like the idea, so I'm just going to go with one team.
 
I just wanted to remind everyone that the team will be going down in about 40 minutes. So if you get online and see you can't play a CAG team game don't freak out. Just have a little patience and everything will be back to normal in no time. *thumbs up*
 
When the team reopens, can I get added back please? It really sucks playing with random guys online who just flail about and won't play team hockey. They try to skate end to end and miss golden centering passes over and over again. I'm not the best player, but I could care less about scoring. I get my jollies making nice, crisp passes, and creating scoring opportunities.

Thanks Matt. The only "reason" I could see was for voicing my concern about people getting clique-y. I didn't mean anything huge by it though...just trying to point out that we're all on the same team. Either way, I just want to be able to play for CAG, and keep my mouth shut.

To illustrate my commitment, I was so desperate to play last night, I created a club called the "Vazhins" with the club initials VAG. When I saw that Kazakhstan was a choice for the jerseys, I just had to. I wanted to call it "Sleeve of Wizard" but I think it was too many letters. It was at that point that I really wished EA had put Rock Band 2's "logo creator" in this game as well. Sadly, nobody joined my team and I deleted it this morning.

Yeah I got on NHL this morning and I saw I didn't receive an invite. Hmm i have no idea what could be wrong. If someone could try to shoot me another invite I would appreciate it.

If you guys are having trouble resigning back up with the league, just open up your player hub and go to your inbox. The invite for the new team will be in there.

I only played 3 games, but we are now 2-1-2 as a collective unit. We lost 2 in shootouts, one in regulation (just me and Apathy) and then Apathy, DarkTower, MSU Hitman, and myself just won 2 in a row.

I think restarting the team was a great move. And by the way, there are still 20 or so of you with pending invites.

Not singling anyone out... but here are a few things I notice...

we have to pass way more from the half-line when going into our zone...

if you have the puck and 4 guys are in front of you, you aren't going to get by them. we need more passes.

defensively our team is playing very well, we gotta watch out pressing pass though when the goalie is covering the puck.

great idea with the restart though, we should be rolling now.
 
Is there a way that you guys can record a game. I would be interested in viewing a full CAG team online.
 
I got back into the club this morning. Thanks for the second invite. I won't have much time to play for a month or two but after that I will have lots of time to play with you guys.
 
That was fun last night, once we got everyone together. Sean and I played one more game after you guys left and won that too. Definately a good idea to reset and clear the record.
