Ah, I'm being trolled through the anonymity of the internet.
Grow up, kids. I know you probably get beat up on a daily basis in ninth grade physics class, but don't shed your anger on anonymous posters on an internet forum. It's really sad. :(

Nintendo shouldn't have ignored what was happening with iPhones and iPads.

The audience that made nintendo a hit is happy with .99 games. And parents prefer to buy their kids 40+ games for the price of one 3DS game. Times have changed.

There's no official PS Vita version of Monster Hunter yet.
All they've said is that the PSP version will be patched/updated to allow use of the second stick. It's still the PSP game though.

The rumor is that 3rd HD is going to Vita though.

Hopefully it'll be used for more than just a few games. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, didn't Wii Motion+ only really get used in a few games? I just hope they thought this over and believe this is how they can help the console a bit more.

The Intent =/= The Result

They'd intend for every publisher to support it, but sales will influence how many bother in the end. This at least has a bigger reach than most of the peripherals that they've released for Wii/DS (Balance Board, Wheel, Motion Plus, Rumble Pak) since it'll be better for console ports and the modern 3D games.

Definitely not many games that truly took advantage the extra + element.

More than the balance board, or WiiSpeak though.
They have a history of not supporting their accessories but this one feels different.

Truth be told, I hope the redesign does have the extra buttons and slider.
It may "bone" me as an early adopter, but it'll make for better games.
 
You obviously care. Any Nintendo fan should care. Its a serious threat to the market and company you enjoy. For you being so level headed you have a hard time expressing it.

Or, take a few valiums; that might be an easier fix to your problem.

Seriously, you don't see what the release of this peripheral means? To most people, it is a tacit admission that Nintendo bungled the design of the 3DS. For a 2011 release handheld, to have only one analog nub, is a crucial mistake. And there were many other mistakes as well; small top screen (3.53", seriously?), over-emphasis on the 3D gimmick, poor battery life, weak online capabilities, hinge problems, screen scratching issues, weak game lineup, cheap d-pad . . . the list goes on. You really sound kind of fanatical the way you are attacking everyone in this thread, throwing out insults right and left. Time to take a chill-pill dude.

I won't be getting the peripheral if it does use more than one game, my Nyko battery gives me 8-10 hours of battery life from the 3DS and it probably won't fit with it. Some good games are coming for the 3DS, can't wait to play them. I just hope that if they do release a new version of the hardware soon that they will help those of us you already bought it with maybe only having to spend maybe $10-20 for the upgrade, or $0. Think that would be possible?

Yeah even if I was thinking of like a trade and upgrade from them, that wouldn't work because of the ambassador program being tied to the actual handheld itself, right? Plus any new release soon would just fuck them up anymore. Sorry, needed to think for a second x.x

He posts/responds, someone responds to him, he goes nuts, plays the victim and pretends to put people on his ignore list
