Alright, well I ordered the Nintendogs bundle (even though I already have nintendogs). I might have buyer's remorse since I'm getting the lite in a month. I just hope I can sell this nintendog game for $50. I'm coming for you Roufuss if it doesn't! :)
What you should do is list the Nintendogs game without opening the box. Just "borrow" a picture from somebody else and crop it, change the brightness, etc. so they don't come back to you. If it sells at $50, keep it, if not then you can just return it.

i wouldnt count on selling the game for 50 bucks.. I would say 25-30

then if it goes for 50 be happy. It probally would go for more then 25 bucks but i would rather go that route and then think I would get 50 easy and then be sad when it doesnt sell

i think a few of them have already fell to 40s. If the game is sealed (dont know if the game comes sealed or not) seen them grab 70

I think I'm going to cancel my order. I can't justify the $100 when I'm getting a lite in a month. Oh well, still a great deal for those who want it.

Yeah, I just checked EBAY and sealed Electric Blue bundles aren't going for much. I was looking for a quick buck, but I passed.

Slidecage, I just sold 4 copies of this game for $45 plus $3.99 shipping on ebay. I am pretty sure they will sell for anywhere between $40-50 and since it is sealed it might fetch a little more than that. And I just sold all 4 copies 4 days ago.

Also, CostCo.com has the MARIOKART Red Bundle for around $150. Not much of a deal, but is this becoming limited? Also, is MarioKart loaded ON the DS? That seems odd.

LOL I just looked at the Fatwallet thread and some idiot on Ebay is selling info for $5 about where to buy these for $100! WTF!!?

Just looked on Amazon and they are sold out, I hope that loser gets alot of bids! :D Animal Crossing bundle still in stock.

Exactly.

I've sold 3 copies for $50, and one for $55, and that's with $6 shipping. Since it's sealed you can push $60 easy.

I think we found out where all the bundles went to:

25 available..??

OK, I just bought the AC bundle for my son 2 weeks ago at Best Buy. Is there any way to get them to refund me the difference through price-match?

Dayum!!! I bit on the Animal Crossing bundle and the PS2 bundle. $217, shipped!! My wife is going to kill me!!
Amazingly, it's the same guy as the link I posted.

I'd hate to see what kind of credit card bill that dude just amassed, and if this falls flat on his face how much debt he'll be in. He's already got a shitty track record on Ebay, 97.4% positive? I wouldn't deal with him.
It'll be intersting to see how many the guy sells... No purchases made so far!

Well crap, it said "5 left in stock" on the Nintendogs bundle and they were gone before I got checked out. Animal Crossing it is then. Kinda burnt out on the Gamecube version tho, we'll see how it goes (mainly waiting for New SMB)

If you guys are angry at that guy selling 100 of them, I think I know how to get EBay to pull the auction. You are not allowed to have choice listings (since you can choose a game). I'm going to report the listing now.

It will probably work for about five minutes. He can just relist them with two auctions, one for 50 of each. It's a nice idea, but just a band-aid fix.

Why go through the hassle? Sure, the guy bought 100, but hey, if he wants to make a bit of quick change, lets not harass the guy on Ebay. I think it's hilarious he bought so many at one time, not the fact hes selling them, because it could just blow up in his face and he's stuck with so many DS's.

If I had a credit card that could take a massive hit like that, I sure as hell would have grabbed 5 or so bundles and made a quick bit of profit.

nintendo dogs bundle is sold out...should i got for the animal crossing bundle? also why is there no picture shown? from thoe pics posted earlier, is that the brightest the DS screen will be? huge difference, compared to DS lite...should i expect it to go lower eventually in the $80 range?

The Nintendogs bundle is back in stock now if you want to get it!

Hey, maybe they cancelled some of those 100+ item orders? =)

so honest opinion..is this a good deal? i'm so tempted and have it in my cart about to order. or is it worth it to wait and spend alittle more for the ds lite in a week.

If you don't mind having the older version of the DS and were planning to get Nintendogs anway I would get it. It's like saving $50 - $60

This is a hell of a deal. If I had no idea of DS lite was coming I would have ordered. Hell, I did know it was coming and I still ordered it but had buyers remorse and cancelled.

I'm going to bite. I'm getting a Lite next month, but my wife is killing me with the DS time she's using and it's driving me crazy. I can give this to my neice or something,or just sell it and take a fifty dollar loss. We can have two DS in the house for now and both happy.

damn i gave in and ordered...2 weeks ago i didnt have a PSP or DS and now might have both. if i could sell the nintendo dogs game, i could have a DS for $50 and then spend the extra $50 towards the lite...seems like a good idea, if i can find someone to buy the game lol

with all the system flooding the market price might go down. I Said might.

didnt know game was sealed. so i could see it grabbing at least 40 even if the price drops. (thought it was opened copy)

I don't know what all of you mean by the Nintendogs Best Friends game being "sealed". When I got my copy before Christmas (with the Teal bundle) it was simply in a cardboard insert within plastic wrapping that was not sealed in any way. Unless they changed the packaging in this newer bundle I don't think you can claim it as "sealed" though you can certainly sell it as new.

I'm having second thoughts on my purchase (I think I can still cancel it). But looking on eBay, it doesn't seem the price has gone down for either the game or bundle yet - not sure what you guys are seeing. I'm sure it WILL drop next week though when these start being delivered :D. I'd want to make at least $40 on the game - I can't see paying more than $60 for a 3rd old-style DS right now.

Edit - Seems to be OOS again, and, although my order hasn't shipped, I cannot cancel mine anyway at this point. So I guess I'll live with it :D. I can't imagine this is Nintendo dumping stock - they seem to be vary careful not to allow that kind of thing to go on. I mean, wouldn't other retailers be a little pissed since they are still selling Platinum DS's for $130? Fry's (a favorite place for game companies to dump stock) has a bundle advertized for this weekend for the DS: Electric Blue with Animal Crossing (probably the same bundle as on Amazon though it doesn't say) + Sprung + Feel the Magic for $159.99 - hardly any kind of deal. So I guess, in the end, I'm glad the order went through.

yeah i was debating to cancel or not, but its already prepared for shipping and given a track #, so too late now...oh well, if i can sell of the game for $40-$50, its going to be an older model DS for aorund $50, its still cheaper than an SP. then i can use the extra $50 towards a DS lite later on or use it to buy a memory stick duo pro for the PSP. now the search is on for cheap DS and PSP games lol

I have been wanting to buy AC, what is it, $35 new? My silver DS is getting banged up (my son), so why not, I like the blue color!!
I have been wanting to buy AC, what is it, $35 new? My silver DS is getting banged up (my son), so why not, I like the blue color!!
Yeah, if you don't already have AC (I have 2, thanks :D) then the $99 AC buindle (which is still available, right?) is a no brainer. If you wait for the DS Lite you will pay $165 for that + AC. And I like the dark blue as well - looks much darker than the pictures I've seen. I had never seen one out of the box before about 3 weeks ago when my GR had a used one in. It was $100 there and I almost bought it (actual cost about $50 since I'd be using GR trade-in credit) - definitely glad I held off. I got the Teal one because it was limited and I thought it was unique, but I actually prefer the dark blue color. I may sell my Teal one on eBay - eBay shouldn't be flooded with that so maybe I'll get more for it even though it's used.

since i dont plan to keep nintendodgs, what some good cheap DS games out there?? it s weird i mostly stuck to systems and not portables in awhile. last portable systems i bought were the gameboy, game gear, and the turbo express lol. i just couldnt give in to paying so much for a portable system. now in the last week or so, ive bought an n-gage, PSP, and now the DS. glad i waited for the price drops. not bad at all, around $300 total for all 3 systems. i guess the xbox 360 will have to wait now lol

Yup, the AC bundle is still available.

Just ordered 2 bundles with AC. One for each of my daughters. I'll be picking up the lite when it comes out for myself.

See, this is an excellent use of this deal. You need your own copy of the game to have your own town and visit each other using either local communication or wifi (there's no single card play unfortunately). I bought two copies when it was released so I could play AC via Wifi with my kids when I'm travelling. Currently they share a DS and one copy of AC (you can make 4 characters within the same town so this works, except that they can't play at the same time). Now I can consider getting my son his own copy (though I'll probably hold off - he's a bit too young to manage the town himself and I don't need to make more work for myself :D). But with 3 DS's we can get some good local wireless Mario Kart action going!

Let's be pessimistic and say the Nintendogs game only sells for $25, or that the AC included with the second bundle is only worth $25. In either case you are getting a brand new (albeit old style) DS for $75. If I walked into Target today and saw them clearanced for that price you'd be damn sure I'd buy one. For some reason, it being online makes it seem less worth it - but then I just remind myself of what I would do if I saw it in store! Yes I'm omitting the shipping charge - but the free toy I got with it is worth at least the shipping charge (don't forget to get that cheap toy - and remember, only the 124 piece Magnetix set has free shipping of all those toys, so you can add that for nothing extra - you'll pay $3-$5 more to ship the other 'free' toys).

I found that very annoying. I was considering ordering a DS bundle last night (decided against it) and was going to pick up that journal set for a gift but it added like $5 shipping to the cost. If it's being advertisted as free I think it should be totally free.

I did some comparison shopping of the toys and most are, in fact, sold for $15-$20 even by Walmart. So paying $5 more (for shipping) isn't TOO bad. However, I bailed on getting the "doodle bus" for my 3 year-old because that one, in particular, added about $6 to the shipping. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for that thing anyway - so I didn't feel I was getting a great deal. The free shipping Magnetix set was a better deal. My kids already have some of those so this will add pieces to their set and they can make bigger things.

If you are in the typical CAG demographic (20's) then these toys probably don't seem like such a great thing. If you don't have siblings or other relatives to give them to then just go with the free Magnetix set - if nothing else you can build some cool geometric shapes to decorate your bedroom/game room/office whatever... Or if you are in college I'm sure there's a drinking game to be made involving them :D.

I guess that was the problem for me since I am in that age range. Nothing on that page interested me but I figured for free it might be an ok gift but not something I would want to pay more than $5 for because I felt they were probably too old for it anyway. The magnetix did seem like the coolest item they have and something I might have actually used had I ordered it (I still build Knex roller coasters and they seem a little similar to Knex)

I went with the monster truck. I figure it will be fun for a minute or two.

The Amazon reviews of the Magnetix sets are hilarious. One reviewer says the repellent force of the magnets makes it impossible to attach pieces. Another says the magnets are too weak and bumping into a constructed obect causes it to break apart completely.

oh damn, my order went through hours ago. i cant change it to get that toy? i'm alttle too old for it, but i could give it to a cousin or something. is it too late now?

You are never to old to play with toys ;)

I got the Disney dolls to save as a xmas gift for my niece but I wanted that monster truck to chase my cat around the house with. LOL I have a cheap little car already but the monster truck wouldn't get hung up on stuff. :D
Three Nintendogs bundles left! If you want one do not hesitate.
Thought about it all day...then the nintendogs bundles went oos.....now its back....i ordered 1 w/ a free 'electronic' keyboard that knocked my shipping up by $6.
