Read the post above yours, it's OOS.

This deal is a no brainer...I have a silver DS and I still bit!!! (I got one for the wife). The lite is mighty tempting but so is this!!!!

motherfucker, i would have got best friends edition for $100(then ebayed the game and toy)

I will check back tomorrow or monday to hope this comes back in stock but i may just be better off waiting for the DS lite. I have some gamerush dollars to unload, would have waited for the ps3, but i may just get the ds lite with the money.

I ordered one late yesterday, and I just got confirmation that the game shipped. The deal sold out and then TRU brought it back and I was lucky enough to get it the 2nd time, I suspect that they may just put it up periodically.

my guess they probably have more in stock, so instead of over selling it and cancelling orders eventually. i think they'll bring it back several times at least
I got mine with a free RC truck. Woohoo.
i wonder if we can take the free toy and return it back to toysrus for $20?

I really wanted a DS lite , but this deal was just way to good i'll probably sell this DS and then use the money to pay for the DS lite. Anyhow I also got a free magnetic toy puzzle seemed like the coolest toy other then Blues Clue Doll.

Hey Guys, I called my local Toys R' Us store and they had The Nintendogs/Animal Crossing Bundle posted as 150. So I went to the amazon.com/Toys R' Us link and printed out the flyer with the address on the bottom. Went to the store later that day and showed one of the managers the price on the online store and they were like "HOLY crap!" but I still got them to sell it to me for $99.98. Just make sure you call your local Toys R' Us store and ask to talk to one one of the managers and ask him if they will price match their prices with the online Toys R' Us stores.

Here is a picture of my duplicate reciept:

Maybe this just means i ought to just get the lite

EDIT: oh the animal crossing bundle is in stock, but the nintendogs best friends bundle is OOS. I will have to think about this a bit more, if the nintendogs bundle is not back tomorrow, i may just get the animal crossing bundle

so for people ho got this deal. are u guys going to keep it or trade it in for the ds lite? maybe keep it and buy the ds lite later? or just keep this ds and wont even bother with the new version? depdnng on the trade in value i might trade it in or maybe try to sell it to my cousins. now iseen some videos of the lite, the creen looks so much brighter and design is better

It's not as much as you can get for it from eBay or such, but I'll pay $25 for a copy of Nintendogs: Best Friends Edition... PM me.

Well, here is what i would do if it ever comes back in stock: i will buy it, sell the best friends game, and keep the system and play it. I would then wait fo rhte next iteration of the ds to come out(DS micro) and then i would get the DS lite on the cheap.

Well Amazon said they shipped out my free McFlurry Maker today, not sure why they didn't send out the DS (I really, really hope it didn't sell out), and also not sure how they sent it out via USPS on a Sunday.

The USPS processes 24/7/365, it's just the customer facing areas that close. If you're big enough they'll pick up on a Sunday. I don't believe it gets cancelled and enters the mailstream until Monday though.

i'm not sure where they shipped froom, but it was deparature scanned an hour away from me , but it says expected date is on the 13th. but i would think i would get it by monday or tues at the earliest

Well, damn, mine got sent UPS Ground with a delivery date of May 16! What the hell is up with that?? Is everyone else getting USPS priority mail?

Just thought I would throw this in here. I want Nintendogs Best Friends. Just the game, I don't need another DS. If anyone has one or is getting one, please PM me. I have Paypal. :)

Well no luck price matching at Sears either. They spent about 10 minutes trying to login into the Amazon website just to find out the shipping. Then they just called TRU and found out it was 149.99 there and the guy almost lost his temper I think. As I was walking away I heard a call of code M whatever that is to appliances. Probably going to post a sign now.

damn ive had my psp for over a week and now just got the DS, but no damn games to play. the systems were good deals, but now i have to spend money for games lol

Mine comes in on wensday. Don't go by Amazon.com estimate date go to ups and enter tracking they have better information.

OOS now,but may come back in stock again. If i cant get the nintendogs bundle for 99 bucks i will just wait it out for the DS lite

the nintendo ds looks like a flimsy toy compared to the psp. definitely has a more simple design. ill probably keep it, but the screen for the psp looks much better and brighter. hopefully i can get games which will convince me its a good system. so far i tried nintendo dogs, weird game, more of a kids game

good games to try: castlevania ds, super princess peach, advance wars ds, mario kart DS, metroid prime hunters, animal crossing, tetris, mario and luigi partners in crime, i am probably forgetting some good ones.

I HAD the PSP however I gave it to my sister in college. There was basically no games for it (exept racing), the UMD movies were over priced (that's why they're being d/c) and as an MP3 it had nothing on my IPOD nano. The DS has made me a Nintendo believer once again with easy online access, fun innovative games, and now a sleeker version with the upcomming DSlite!!! I still picked this up as I will now own 2 phat DS and come this June the lite!!! Recommended non kiddie games: Tetris DS, Age of Empires, Metroid Hunters, MarioKart DS, Meteos (better than lumines), Wars DS, Castlevania DS (a classic) and of course Brain Training!!!

And don't forget New Super Mario Brothers is coming out next week! It has gotten a 9.5 from IGN and seems to be scoring 9-10 from everywhere else so far. I'm finally playing through Super Princess Peach and it is a blast. It is a bit easy, but that's good for me :D. I figured I'd better play through it before the new Mario comes out because it will seem like crap in comparison.

rly723 - I put in over 100 hours in Advance Wars DS. Great airplane trip game (doesn't require quick reflexes). I echo Mario Kart and Animal Crossing as great titles. I haven't played Castlevania but I hear it's good. Also, there's Meteos, which is a fantastic puzzle game. If you are into wierd titles there's Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center. I also enjoyed Pac-Pix and Kirby Canvas Curse (both of which make extensive use of the touch screen).

I kind of feel the opposite as you. I have had no problem bringing my DS on business trips but would never bring my PSP out of the house. It seems far too expensive and fragile to actually be portable . Plus the DS battery life beats the PSP's hands down (eg, for cross-country multi-stop plane trips!).

whats good screen protector for the DS? i dont want to scratch the screen at all with the stylus. i'll probably pick up the new mario bros. is the nintendo dogs worth it to keep? since its only avaialble through bundles and not seaparate, so it might be a collector's item

Yes, it is somewhat of a collector's item. This is what makes it worth selling on eBay :D. You can unlock all of the dogs in each version, but if you like the dogs in "Best Friends" it is definitely easier to start with them.

As for the screen protector, I have 2 DS's, including one my 9 and 6 year-old kids use. I have not put a screen protector on either and after several months of use neither has a single scratch. As far as I know the screen protectors use some sort of adhesive and that seems worse to me than any potential scratching. One of my daughter's friends had a DS with screen protectorson it and it looked horrible (crooked and bubbly). Really, the things are designed not to scratch in ANY way when using the regular stylus. And believe me, my kids have put it to the test :D. Kudos to Nintendo. I was just cleaning their DS and once I got the fingerprints off (just using a paper towel with windex) the thing looks brand spanking new!

um...I wouldn't put windex on the DS screen!!! Well anyways I use a PocketPC and my Palm's screen protectors(the officially licensed one). They are better quality and doesn't leave any residue when removing them. I must admit it does hinder some of the brightness but nothing to be too concerned about!

I've been using windex for several months now - no problems.
