baseball is just a tad too slow to watch on tv. baseball is to be enjoyed at a stadium.
agreed. baseball can be watched on tv if at a bar with multiple tv's and multiple different shows/sports are being viewed. oh yea, and there must be several pitchers of beer present.
Awesome. I understand that people like baseball... I can't figure it out, but I can accept it. Awesome sport to play (softball/baseball/whatever as long as it's not stickball)... just boring as hell to watch if you ask me. I'm sure the same could be said about any sport, though...:whistle2:#
Funny story about stickball. My company held a softball league in the summer but due to the weather we ended only playing a handful of games. After being rained out several weeks in a row people just stopped showing up. Last game of the year only four of us showed up. Between the four of us we had 2 gloves, a ball we found in the woods and a tree branch. So for about hour we just hit the ball around with the branch waiting for people to arrive.

Edit:
get?
NOOOO! I missed my first GET
Unless they dump grossman, they'll lose. Grossman played like shit, AFC team won (Miami). Grossman plays like shit again, AFC team wins again (Pats).
Seattle is mediocre at best, Carolina can't be consistent, Dallas probably has the best shot and they have a lot of problems as well.

Pats, Jags, Colts, Chargers, Ravens could probably take most of them just about any day of the week.

Oh, and Plummer? He was the worst starting qb in the NFL at the beginning of the season and until last week, he still was. Don't blame the run game cause Plummer fails at life. Shanny can't win. Starts Greise too early and now Cutler too late. Maybe Denver gets lucky and some other teams fall apart...
Name one team that has not had a letdown game. I can't think of any.

Plummers problem has a hell of a lot to do with the running game. It hasn't been anywhere near what it has been in the past. Add to that Shanahan running an offense so that the Broncos are inclined to fail and you end up with a record of 7 -4. He has changed his offense already for Cutler and forced Jake to play in a system that does not suit him.

Also I would take Carolina above all those AFC teams if we are playing on a neutral site (like in the Super Bowl). Delhomme is clutch in the playoffs as is Steve Smith. Romo needs more experience before I would say the same thing about Dallas.

And the Jags lost twice to Houston so I just can't take them seriously as a contender.

I like baseball a lot, more than football. Of course with a home team like the Lions it's understandable why I don't have much interest in football.

But then I won't be able to change the channel. Instead I will be asking what does RBI and ERA means... Which will later have me asking how many more innings are there. Once the 7th or 8th inning hits, I will start crying.

Damn, I hope I will never have to attend another baseball game ever again. Sad, since it is the only sport I have seen live.

Well this sucks. Physics homework due tomorrow, CS225 and math assignments due Tuesday, a game prototype due Wednesday, and a pinball simulator due Friday.

Actually I don't either.

I can only eat fillets of various fish, cuz then they taste like chicken. But I gotsta douse'm in a lemmon/butter/soy sauce.

And I can handle shrimp only if it's stuff in a jalapeno and dunked in queso. Mmmm.

Basically when I don't know I'm eating it, I can eat it.
I really hope I don't get fired for not going to work on friday.
Lol. I once quit my job via calling in from the top of a roller coaster. You could hear the clinking of the chain dragging us up the first hill.

BAH-MUTHA fuckIN' HUMBUG! I hate Christmas and all things Christmas related, aside from Charlie Brown Christmas and South Park Christmas specials.

So... not taking that job at EB.

It's been a week now, every time I call the manager either a) dosen't call back when I leave a message or b) I go down there and she's not working.

Even though I'm effectively "in the system" I haven't been put on the schedule, I haven't been trained, it's December 3rd now and I was hired for SEASONAL, which is pretty much over in three weeks.

I went in the store today and there was about 40 people in there, it was packed, it was loud, it looked like it sucked ass and it certainly was NOT worth minimum wage and getting dicked around like this constantly.

I have no less than 8 tests and 3 papers to write for school in the next week and a half, I need to focus on what's important. I don't need that discount when I have Rhino anyways.

Hah. The Washington Post doesn't just have one but three editorials arguing that President Bush is one of the worst ever presidents.

And people wonder why conservatives think the major newspapers have a "liberal bias."

Editorals? Wouldn't they be dissertations? I thought it was a well known fact that he was one of the worst in the annals of history.

I don't know. I'd like to spend around 200-250. She wears a watch everyday, and it looks kind of shitty to me, so I was thinking about getting her a new one. What kind of watch would you recommend?
