Unless they dump grossman, they'll lose. Grossman played like shit, AFC team won (Miami). Grossman plays like shit again, AFC team wins again (Pats).
Seattle is mediocre at best, Carolina can't be consistent, Dallas probably has the best shot and they have a lot of problems as well.
Pats, Jags, Colts, Chargers, Ravens could probably take most of them just about any day of the week.
Oh, and Plummer? He was the worst starting qb in the NFL at the beginning of the season and until last week, he still was. Don't blame the run game cause Plummer fails at life. Shanny can't win. Starts Greise too early and now Cutler too late. Maybe Denver gets lucky and some other teams fall apart...
Name one team that has not had a letdown game. I can't think of any.
Plummers problem has a hell of a lot to do with the running game. It hasn't been anywhere near what it has been in the past. Add to that Shanahan running an offense so that the Broncos are inclined to fail and you end up with a record of 7 -4. He has changed his offense already for Cutler and forced Jake to play in a system that does not suit him.
Also I would take Carolina above all those AFC teams if we are playing on a neutral site (like in the Super Bowl). Delhomme is clutch in the playoffs as is Steve Smith. Romo needs more experience before I would say the same thing about Dallas.
And the Jags lost twice to Houston so I just can't take them seriously as a contender.
