This was in pittsburgh. Basically bunch of originally 14-30 dollar games for 60% off (clearance?) It was some supposed "BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL EVENT" but no blue lights involved; also included LOTS of other items (tags beneath the shelves).

Didn't see what gba games were on sale but I assume they were 60% of 15-20 so they'd be 6 or 8 dollars.

Decent selection sat/sun 1/16-1/17 only.

Anybody know if ICO is on clearence too? I saw it in the case for $14.99, which would make about $6, but the cashier insisted it wasn't on clearence and would not scan the item. I know the game is totally worth $14.99, but I already have it and wanted a second sealed copy to keep

How did you find out about this deal? It's not in my local ad, although I see on their clearance section of KMart.com they have some deals like you were saying.

Probably.

Anyway, if they won't willingly scan the game just say "I want the game" have them get it take it to the register and if it rings up at the price marked say: "you know what I don't want the game." IT'S THAT SIMPLE.

Ico has been on clearance for months. I picked up a copy back in October for $7.99.
 
ICO should be clearanced, I picked it up prior to Xmas for $7.99 so It may be even cheaper now, since I got
Freedom Fighters for $10, .hack Outbreak $15 at the same with ICO and now they are cheaper in this sale.
 
alright few quick questions... which Wario Ware is on clearance? GC or GBA? And is LotR: RotK on clearance for all systems? I saw GC copies of both games, and I'll probably *gasp* go to Kmart again to pick them up if they're on clearance.

They had it for the 'regular' clearance price of $7.99 here (i.e.: clearance, but not part of the 60% off sale... YMMV, though, since I think I saw one post mentioning someone got it for $3).

It's part of the mega-list of UPCs that I made for the TRU sale, so feel free to print this out and scan it on one of the price scanners to find out how much it is (usually a much easier method than having to ask an employee to take something out of lockup to check)

Picked up Rise to Honor and HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban, both PS2, both 8 bucks. K-Mart on 95th and Metcalf in Kansas City had the bin thing going in front of the electronics section...bunch of GC and PS2 Viewtiful Joes left, a copy or two of Alias, Mafia, Boktai and others. No Metroid bundles.

By the by, anybody know the Gamerush trade-in value on Azkaban?

The other Kmart had tons of crappy games, mostly last years sports titles. They had a few copies of WarioWare, VJ (PS2), some GBA Videos and no MP/Wavebird bundles. I'm guessing they're sold out.

Just came back from the Kmart in Gaithersburg, MD. I picked up Wild Arms 3 for $11.99 and Arc the Lad: Twighlight of Spirits for $9.99. Arc the Lad TOS is a great steal for only $9.99.
 
The wavebird+Metroid prime were on sale for $11.99 here in my PA store.

They also had a few wavebird + mario party 4 combos but they rang up $29.99.

I told the guy that they were both supposed to be on sale for $11.99 and he called the manager.

Manager looked at both boxes and gave the OK, told the cashier to ring up the metroid prime bundle for the mario party 4 bundle.

I guess I got a good deal ;)
 
I'm going to check out KMart tomorrow. I have a feeling that this one will continue through. We shall see if there is anything left to begin with.

It's a K-Mart exclusive bundle. It includes Metroid Prime and a Wavebird controller.

Thank OP!! I just walked into the Big K-mart in NYC, by Penn Station. There were about 3 of the Metroid Prime bundles left, and I asked for a price check because they were marked at $55. They rang up as $14.99 and the employee's eyes popped out of his head. He couldn't believe it. The bundles were gone, the moment I said "Yes!", by the guy next to me (greedy bastard took 3), but the employee opened up the glass case and took out 4 remaining ones. I ended up getting 1 more, and the employee set aside two for himself. Funny thing is, I went to Toy's R US right after, and saw the the wabe bird's priced at $35.00 + tax for just 1 of them.

Total Cost was $33.00 or something.

They really need to tear that place down -it's a mess. Did you try the kM at 63rd/Antioch?---

OHHHHHHhhhhh...

i cant remember all of them but:

scaler (ps2), rise to honors x 3, dead to rights (xbx), big mutha truckers, im not sure if they had any more VJ's..., voodoo vince, 1 mechassault (PH), and i forgot the rest...
 
I went today to another Kmart. they had two Metroid/Wavebird bundles , but basically they were swept clean. Some Bomberman Jetters and some sports title and maybe one or two Silent Hill 2 and 3 but really nothing. They did have one Mega Man Zero 3 but I passed on it since the box was crushed worse than what you would get of a GBA game from BB.com.
