it only shows the ps3 version as on sale
Yeah, what gives? Trying to trick people into buying the broken version, eh TRU?

Im debating whether to order it now, or wait till tomorrow morning and go to the actual store to avoid the shipping cost and/or get an Amazon card in case they PM it. What do you guys think? My only fear is that they'll go out of stock
It won't work for me when I use Google Chrome, but when I pop over to Internet Explorer it's clear and perfect.
Yeah it's showing the right prices for Skyrim, aka $39.99 in my Firefox browser but not chrome... hmmm. Conspiracy?

My fear would be the hoards of shoppers, and traffic. Its only 5.48 to ship. At some point your time has to be worth something. And it would suck even more if they sell out instore, and online.
On your receipt, the games will have a refund price listed. This is what you will get back when you return the games.
hmm i'll have to look.. but thats not good. Does that mean that it takes 25 bucks off of what i can get refunded back? That seems kinda BS honestly if thats the case. I wouldn't mind having to return the giftcard, but i'll be pissed if it tries to give me a refund only through that

anyway, what did skyrim for the 360 and Dead island wind up going for those are the two i need to return/ price adjust
It is not working on safari too
I see it in chrome, and internet explorer 9. Maybe clear your cookies

This is good insight. And I mean I'm already paying virtually $28 because I got 2 google coupons from last night. I'm getting the PS3 version though seeing as I have no other console other than Wii and my computer isn't reliable for gaming so hey I guess if anything I paid alot less for a broken game :S
Stores opens at 6am. Set your clocks ppl!!!
I don't think it will be that big of a deal.. These prices are good but not amazing.

No sales price shows up when I go to check out. Hell, even at full price (which is above the $49 free shipping quota), it's still charging me for shipping.

Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL is only $20!!! It's like I'm buying my girlfriend Skyrim and getting another game free! Awesomeeeeee.

EDIT:

Free shipping isn't showing up.....
so if I go to the toys r us with an egift card I can actually ask the guy at the counter for an amazon gift card???
There are all kinds of gift cards there. Just grab an Amazon Kindle card (works for anything on Amazon) and use the egift card towards it.
NO FREE SHIPPING:

Excludes video game consoles/handhelds, software, hardware and accessories, gift cards and Buyer Protection Plan

JERKS
Lol what bitches

My $60 order comes out to $70 because of shipping and taxes... I think I may just try the store... it's just not a deal after all that!!

Well, thanks Toys R Us, for glitching out on me while I was submitting my order. Now I get to wait even longer. Remind me to never do business with these morons again.

That's the way it worked the one time I did it at Toys r Us. I bought Bulletstorm back when it was released and it came with a $5 gift card. I tried to return it with the gift card for a full refund, but they said they can't take gift cards back and could only give me $55+tax instead of $60. I was pretty pissed but it was $5 so I decided to cool my jets and go worry about something more important. I'd think twice about ever buying anything from them again that had a "free gift card" offer though.

Price discounts seem to be showing up and applying fine for me in Firefox, but not Chrome (hit and miss). Weird as hell that browser nuances affect the price you get.

Anwyays... check this out... not in the ad, but...

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword with Music CD - $39.99
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12152088

For me it shows up as $49.99 in Chrome, but $39.99 in Firefox. Weird. Go figure.

How the hell is that even legal? Im pretty sure its NOT. If I pay cash for something, then they refuse to give me all my cash back when i return it.. aren't they basically just stealing from me? That sounds beyond shady. I cant imagine how thats even legal

But reading some of the threads around here; shady and weak as hell sounds par for the course for this company

I can't sleep until usually about 7-8 am so I'll head over to my TRU after 6 to pick up Skyrim. Hopefully I will resist the urge to start playing right away...

If you are talking about the $10 google coupon for $20 off that is such a ripoff. I tried to use it skyrim and it won't let you. Apparently it can't be used for anything on sale. I guess I'll wait and see if Amazon will match it.

Convert it to an E-gift certificate, problem solved.

online or in store?
Jesus Christ. This thread is overflowing with impatience. You guys knows these deals are good all week, right?
The thing is Tru sells out of the good stuff a lot and this week will be crazy especially if you want skyrim mailed before Xmas. My nearby store is wiped out of almost anything good and they are not restocking many items.

Maybe that google coupon might be something worth redeeming for.

In addition to people who think A-List games should be at "yard sale" prices (ie. I'll pay $10 for that game!). Not just in this thread.
Convert it to an E-gift certificate, problem solved.
Nope, they won't let you do that either.

Guess I'll head over to TRU and see what I can find. Contemplating either Rayman or a 3DS. Maybe their inventory will make my decision easier.

Turns out I was doing it wrong. Helps to read the coupon in more detail I guess.

Went early this morning to get :360: Forza 4 @ $39.99 with my $40 e-gift card. The register did not prompt to give me the $10 gift card with purchase of a Kinect game $39.99 or above. Went to the customer service desk and they gave it to me. I turned around and used the $10 toward the :ps3: Prince of Persia Trilogy which was $19.99. Finally done xmas shopping now!

If you're looking for free shipping, you can purchase them from Toys R Us through eBay for the same price. The only catch is that you can't use the Google Offers coupon.

Skyrim

They should have the other games on there as well.

I'm sorry to hear that a lot of people are having issues with this sale. I used to work at TRU during the summer doing the overnight shift. It was nice seeing what they had so I could know what I wanted to get when we opened. Using the employee discount was awesome as well! Good luck guys.
