I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

Neonglow if that was the 100% truth, I'd not make a peep about it (and wasn't going to) but after readin my GOOD friend Evan's post (and a few others here) I decided to post because I thought it was bull $#!@, if everyone gave everyone else a chance and didn't go ape and buy out the store that be perfect.

But be realistic, you and I both know that's not the case and Mr. Justifier up there already prooved to me the mental age of the people doing that crap. If I had money to waste driving 120 miles round trip and then again next week to PM the stuff I'd do it, but instead I'd like to make 1 trip and try to get the stuff I want.

Anything wrong with that way of thinking instead of screwing TRU outta cash and giving someone a hard time when you come back and say I want my money back since I knew you were discounting this crap. Good way to give the folks that holiday spirit.

Regardless of whether you CAN do it or not, it comes down to whether you should (and making yourself look like an big @$$hat) just because you can't wait 3 goddamn days like everyone else.

Uncle5555 dont' feel bad about not being able to get the games.. i haven't have alot of chances to get some of the deal neither. No need to degrade other CAGers.. so far.. i think CAG community has been very good (compare to other forums)... many of the active members here doesn't really hoard all the games... some even help others via exchanging and trade.. i've got many good deals here.. and so far.. CAGer has been pretty good..... if you can't find something.. ask nicely to someone.. they maybe able to help you via trade..
for the people who has the opportunity to buy now/refund later.. they still need to 'invest' some effort and resources to go there and back again.. so they deserve it.. they are also taking 'risk' on going/come back.. or non available games as well.. just enjoy CAG and the holiday... many or most of us has backlog of games.. that we won't have time to play anyway.. cheer! :)

Its the one BIG advantage of having credit cards with high limits, being able to "reserve" select titles should the OP's original post hold true... if not, the games are returned and I get that money back...

I was actually Pmed by a fellow Mobilian, and trited to help him out with what was at the store, although my want list was rather short... most of my games were only available behind the counter... I have always tried to help locals out with these sales (even helped a dame fat wallet member during the infamour CC 5 dollar blowout last year)
 
I'm still looking for FF I & II, and darkstalker.. not sure if i want to invest my time to check my TRU on thursday :) i have too many backlog as it is :(

It's funny with these types of sales, everyone seems to have the exact same want lists. It makes it that much harder to get those desirable titles...

I went to my local TRU to pick up Nanostray and Bust a Move DS for $30, and also brought along my list of games that I plan on picking up on Thursday. Dammit! I didn't think they'd have Metal Slug 4/5. I bought that game for $45 on eBay a few months back. >_<

It seems like the local TRU and the one downtown had most of the games I wanted. The local one had some games that the downtown TRU didn't have, and vice versa. It looks like I'm gonna have to make two trips come Thursday. They open at 8 am, so I'll make sure to go to bed early Wednesday night. ;) Here's what my TRU's had:

I have met a couple of the CAGs where I used to live and they were nice. But as a whole, there are alot that don't post intentions and just go off instincts of greed. The community that posts seem to be like you describe but even some of them think beyond just getting their one copy... Here is a post describing one of those posters...

oh man....this is so crazy....I really wish I wasn't out of town right now....I must figure out some way to get in on this (I'm pretty sure the one by my house has Pikmin 2, RE4, FF1+2, and many others that I haven't been wanting quite as much as those....like DDS, Golden Sun:LA....)
I wish the price drop was on the GC Killer7....
 
Just as a note, make sure that your stores have the titles behind the counter as well as out on display. I just went to my TRU and it's already seen its share of particular hoarders, which I found quite odd. The displays are easily found in the section itself but there's nothing left behind the counter or in the back.

A word of warning, that's all. I really wanted Digital Devil Saga but...nope, someone grabbed all of the copies. Oh well. If there's not too much stock you may want to consider grabbing now and then adjusting later, just in case. If anyone sees an extra copy and wants to pick it up for me, the standard sale price+tax+shipping+effort applies!

Oh well, at least my store had fairly good stock and an excellent staff behind the counter. Too bad the rest of the store looks like a wasteland. I still can't imagine why they had to redesign the entire old floor layout to its current one. Sections of the store go completely unused and unfurnished, most sections are at angles with other sections for no reason...crazy!

Well, picked up RE4 to price match or return on Thursday. Also, wanted to get a cube for that deal they're running, but they were sold out. Somehow, managed to get Best Buy next stroe to price match the whole shootin match.

Ended up with RE4, Metroid Prime 2, Mario Party 7, cube, 1019 memory card, and 3 controllers (1 3rd partry) for $140. MP7 and possibly MP2 will be up for grabs.
 
I got about 5 games that I want from this sale. Can't wait! My last mid-term is on Wednesday. :D
 
I just picked up DOAU, MK Deception KE (XB), and Golden Sun 2. I was hoping to pick up Boktai 2, but they didn't have any copies.

They had a copy of DDS1, but it was the deluxe version so I don't know I want to keep it.

If you get confirmation can you post it just for verification? Also (since it sounds like you're a TRU employee?) can you verify if price adjusting is allowed company-wide, or is it YMMV?

i asked at the customer service desk before I purchased that u have 14 days to do a pricematch if their prices drop

Before we get a flood of "nothing at my TRU" posts, can everyone make sure to post which TRU it is? I especially hate when users don't list their locations under their avatars.

Having said that, anyone in New York, don't go the TRU at Bay Parkway. Other than this really cool employee there named Chris, there's nothing really good there.

Did spot a few odd games; lone copy of Youself! Fitness for Xbox (pretty rare) was on the clearance table directly left of the entrance. A lone KOF: Maximum Impact (PS2) was on shelf far left aisle from the entrance on your right, lone Killzone on the shelf behind it, a few Killer 7's and Ghost in the Shells on both shelves, a bunch of Viewtiful Joe 2's for both GC and PS2, a lone Wario Ware, and some DBZ Sagas in the stock room, which should be $5 AC. No Resident Evil 4's, Digital Devil Sagas, or Pikmin 2's.

There should be a whole screening process for cheap games. Password could be "CAG" and upon proclamation, you're taken to the back room filled with $5 Disgaeas and Gitaroo Man's, guarded by Secret Service Agents and set to self-destruct upon invasion of hoarders. :)

Nice to have games I actually have been wanting to play go on such a deep sale.

Nope, they have a recently released version with just the game only. I saw a copy of it at my local TRU last week...they had one deluxe set and one game only set. You can also buy a non delux set on Atlus's website.

Hmm, I bought DDS1 last week, not knowing about the sale. Every place I've seen in town that has a copy of this usually sells it quickly. Maybe if i'm lucky my TRU will still pricematch the copy I bought. But will I specifically go buy stuff now to try to price match it later? Hell no. Most of these games that are listed as going on sale are not even available anymore in my local TRUs.

I'm not sure, but when I bought my copy, both were the same price, so of course I got the delux box with all the extra goodies. Maybe someone who works at TRU could tell you if there is a difference??
