I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

Is there any sort of TRU coupon going around that for like purchases over $75 or $100 or whatever? I have work at 8AM PT, I'm the TRU is right near work so I'm going to be like 20 mins late. I was going to just go at lunch but after reading this I'm saying fuck it and going early.
 
DBZ Sagas was $5 at the Huntington Station, NY TRU. For PS2 and GC! They're sold out of RE4, Pikmin 2, and I think 4 Swords, though.
 
I got to TRU a lil after 8 went in and the seen a shitload of people in the game section I was like oh shit. Ran to the department and the manager was like you here for the 360? LOL they got "several" systems in but were selling them in $600 bundles.

NOBODY was there for the games deal. I picked up several games today and RE4 yesterday. They had set up most of the $10 stuff on a lil display rack but I was having the people pull all the good stuff out of the display case and scan it for me. A couple games on the list I checked were not $10.

Still plenty of goodness at that store but only 2 copies of RE4.
 
dammit they ran out of RE 4 where I live thats the game i wanted the most. if anyone has one extra lemme know.

Anyway, Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble did *not* ring up at 9.98. It was still 29.99.

Still, got Dead or Alive Ultimate, Mortal Kombat Deception KE, Viewtiful Joe 2, Tron 2.0 (GBA), FF 1&2, Golden Sun: Lost Age.

Not bad.

Really wanted Godzilla: Save the Earth and online charges shippiing *and* tax, killing the deal.

Still, worth being late for work.
 
I'm heading over to my TRU now, should be there by 10 AM EST. Its in a very rural area/county so hopefully lots of games will be in stock and everyone else will be busy on the furby isles.

I made a list of 17 possible games I'd want (none of which are RE4 ;) ) so if at least two are in stock I'll walk away happy today. I'm hopin' Tekken and Psychonauts PS2.

They didn't have a monkeyball 2 pack, which is a giftI wanted to get my lil sis for Christmas, so I'll give her Pikmin 2. As I left, I heard people talking about a "list" and "get another, we can sell it", so draw your own conclusions.
 
I picked up RE4 in the Columbus, GA TRU. The last two went to me, so I have one available for trade.

My TRU was pretty bare, looks like most people bought stuff ahead of time. There was only two older ladies there for the game deals and they had a list of games copied from CAG w/ highlights for the games their kids wanted. Really wanted Tekken 5, Halo 2 LE, Conker: L&R, & MK Deception KE, but instead just picked up DOA Ultimate and Ninja Gaiden. Still definitely worth the trip. There were tons of copies of Bloodrayne 2 & DBZ Sagas but I'm already so backlogged on games that I decided not to buy them.

Ah, my fourth CAG sale that I've gone too, and they finally had stuff on the sale list in stock! Was only looking for four games, and I was happy they were there! They had tons of other games too, but I'm not rich - just got what I wanted.

In the Milwaukee area - went to Brookfield store on Monday - they had jack.

Northridge store this morning - they had tons of this stuff as of 8am.

I saved $140! :D
 
The first TRU I went to had a whole lot of nothing.

Hit a second one and managed to pick up RE4 and Pikmin2 for myself, plus Tekken5 for my brother-in-law (and used the coupon-thanks to whoever provided the link!) Unfortunately, they were out of Mario Party 5.

Got to Bloomington, MN TRU at 7:45 and when they opened I was the only one to head to the video game section. Here I was thinking that the hoarders were going to be out in force but perhaps they don't get up at a normal hour. ^_^

Anyways, I managed to grab:

Got there at 8 and there was NOBODY there at all, aside from employees.... free reign of the whole store :D

Picked up only 2 games, Pikmin (since our inventory got obliterated by the MP7 GC Bundle deal) and MK Deception regular edition.

TONS of RE4, FF1&2, Golden Sun, Area 51 and Tekken 5, no DDS.
 
Picked up RE4, Virtua Quest (GC), SVC Chaos, FF Dawn of Souls & Tron 2.0. Used the $5 off $25 coupon, two 20% off coupons and one $2 Birthday card. 5 games for $42.25

Psychonauts for XBox still full price. Did not find Sid Meier's Pirates.

Just to add to the chorus, but I went to the Woodfield TRU and there were 2 other people there waiting. I went in, they had the games set into bins, and it was like the list said. I also had no problem at all price matching what I had bought earlier. Easily the best sale of the year.

Fargo, ND is out of RE4 and Pikmin 2...despite several copies last night. I wish I could cry, "hoarder!" and throw a fit, but they had almost everything else from the list--just nothing I was really looking for. That's what I get for grabbing those extra ten minutes of sleep, I suppose.
The employees were pissed, too--obviously they had no idea what was going on. One was trying to interrogate me like I was doing something wrong, but I just told her "word gets around." Unless you work there, apparently.

Picked up the last copy of Metal Slug 4&5 and Dynasty Warriors 5. They had several copies of RE4 (cube). No Digital Devil Saga. They had several empty cases and I made them check twice but no go (I told them to remove the empty boxes otherwise they would get probably asked a lot about it-they did).

Was going to pick up Haunting Ground for PS2...anyone play this?

I had the display case for Dynasty Warriors 5 and Digital Devil Saga, but they were sold out. 2 guys had come in earlier and bought most of the stuff. I knew I should have went when they opened!
