I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

Just went to the Long Island City in Queens...it's cleaned out. The only things I saw was Pirates, Four Swords, Raze's Hell and Transformers. Picked up transformers for a gift, and left...everything else is gone...not to mention the store is a pure hellish mesh right now.

It's funny to see how many people bought stuff and posted...i remember all the naysayers out there when this thread first began.

My TRU had 20+ RE4's and 10+ Romance 3 Kingdoms X and 1 Dynasty Warrios last night. I only checked the once with serious Blockbuster flipping potential.

Of which, I bought 3 RE4's and 3 Romance 3 Kingdoms (and 3 DragonBallZ Sagas's). I figured I'd leave the rest for people who actually wanted the games, and the $320+ cash hit to my wallet was hurting.

Today I went back, and the store was a madhouse. Evidently, 16 XBOX 360's had come in this morning and bedlam erupted. I had trouble finding anything I wanted in the store, as games were misfiled everywhere.

Did find about 8 RE4's left (from over 20) and saw that all the other good flipping titles were OOS. So I bought them, and Pirates and Fatal Frame II (both to keep).

Got my price adjusted no problem. Woman was like wow, you're getting back alot of cash, you really lucked out. I just nodded my head.

Went to Blockbuster (next door), sold 2 DragonBallZ's, 2 RE4's, and 2 Romance 3 Kingdoms for over $125 (purchase price $50). Then I bought 5 $20 giftcards to give to the kitchen staff at the boarding school I teach at. When I purchased the giftcards, with credit, the cashier informed me that I was eligible for $10 in bonus giftcards, which was nice.

All in all a great day, gained some great will with out kitchen staff, got same great games to play, and had fun.

Let the flames calling me a hoarder begin!

PS: Ninja Gaiden Black was $29.99, is it only the original Ninja Gaiden on sale?
 
I saw two display copies of RE4 on the shelf.... I took one up and the guy said that they didnt have any in stock. Oh well. I would have bought Doom 3 if I knew there was a price grabbar rebate... Dammit, I doubt any will be left there tomorrow. It was a mad house at Toys R Us. I also saw some idiot buy a shopping cart full of Final Fantasy 1 & 2 Dawn of Souls for the GBA.

:shame: No flames here (someone else's job), but why in gods name do you people always trade in new games without stopping to keep the cases from the games and put them in any old beat-up game or DVD case to trade in first?

I take it you mean Route 46?

One of my friends told me the one in Rockaway had a bunch. I was at the Watchung one today (Rt 22), and grabbed the GTA pack and Haunting Ground. They had plenty of copies of Doom 3 as well.

Went to 3 TRU (alhambra, glendale, burbank,ca)and mostly they had pretty much the same stuff still left that I was looking for. Which were Final Fantasy GB, Golden Sun 2 and Doom 3 (hoping for the CE, but it was $30) Did anyone get the CE for cheaper? Ace combat, pirates and killzone were among the stuff they still had when I left. No luck in getting Conker, DOA, VJ 2 and ninja gaiden.

Fight Club (last copy):pS2

The cashier ran up 2 copies of transformers instead of that 1 copy i ordered. I did catch this but by the time it was too late as he was in the signing mode part he couldn't quit out of. I informed him after I signed and he checked and confirmed it. He told me pick out another 10 dollar game and so I picked up the last fight club for ps2.

He took the game to CS and told the CS guy and I had to wait 20 mins in line for theguy to fix the error and give me fight club. arghh :|

oh well, im gonna IGN.com review these games to see if its worth it or what.

too bad I wanted pikman 2 and or Zelda 4 swords.

I think they have to ring them through . . . press a promo button or something. They may price scan higher???

The $6.65 was with an additional discount because of the price change . . . so, if you bought games yesterday, you may be able to get the games for $6.65 . Its explained about 15 pages back. :) fast moving thread
 
I posted earlier saying that in Vegas they prices weren't $10. Well, I was on the way to the post office to mail out last second gifts, and so didn't have time to get the games scanned.

I went back and had them scanned, and YAY they were $10. However, they were OOS on almost everything. I picked up:

GBA - Wario Mega Micro Games
GBA - Ham Ham Hamtaro Games
GC - Wario Micro Party
GV - Viewtiful Joe 2
XB - Doom 3

What I really was hoping to get was Pikmin 2 though. I've been waiting for years for that game to drop in price.
 
Wow, things went SHOCKINGLY well for me today. I got to the Levittown, Long Island TRU at around 1PM. Oddly enough, my cheapassedness was very well received. Some employee noticed I had the list and he got all excited and asked if he could have a look. I said "sure" and he took the list started looking around... he even showed the list to some customers and clued them in on a few of the better deals. Anyway, I was pleased to find that a lot of my top items were in stock. I picked up:

- Bards Tale (XBX)
- KoF Maximum Impact Maniax (XBX)
- Viewtiful Joe 2 (Cube)
- 2 copies of Pikmin 2
- 2 copies of RE4
- FF Dawn of Souls

I got the extra RE4 and Pikmin 2 in case any of my friends need it. But if they don't bite, I'll be glad to hook a couple CAGs up. Surprisingly they had a pretty full stock of RE4's... I guess word just hadn't gotten around yet. They had a decent amount of Pikmin 2's, a TON of FF: DoS, and plenty of Bard's Tales and Alien Hominids.

Next I went to the Levittown TRU and things were pretty good there too. I picked up:

- Pacman Pinball
- DOA Ultimate
- Conker Live & Reloaded

They also had Doom 3 and Area 51 over there (possibly just 1 copy each). DOA:U is another one I'll be offering for trade if none of my friends need it (I already have my own copy). I picked up Conker just for you CAGs though, so if anyone's interested, PM me an offer. I'm mainly looking for PoP: Warrior Within but I might consider some others.

I hate the Southgate, MI TRU. Whoever runs the video game section does such a poor job. Nothing's ever marked right, and for stuff like this there's no signage and nothing's collecting off the shelves. Granted that would be even better if they acctually had anything ever. My mom was at the Roseville store this morning, they had almost everything pulled and labeled already at 8am and were in the process of doing the rest. They also seemed to have almost everything, and I foolishly only had her grab two things for me and figured I'd be able to grab the rest after work over by me. Ugh...

Only thing they had I was looking for was Karaoke Revolution, I won't even mention how pitiful their GBA selection was since it's par for that course.
 
I went to TRU in Castleton, IN, and picked up Metal Slug 4&5 (PS2) and Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits (DS) for $9.98 each. They didn't say anything that they were marked down, so I scanned them, and it rang up as $9.98.

I just don't get the trading/hoarding mentality. Today was the first time I've bought games in literal months, and I got two copies of one title because my sister wanted it as much as I did. Some of you are so greedy that it's sickening - why not just buy what you'll play instead of building up a stockpile that will never be played through?

I got copies of Advance Wars 2 and Final Fantasy 1&2, and my sister got the FF game and Psychonauts and Viewtiful Joe for the PS2. Nothing amazing, but my dorm room is currently stocked with an N64, Dreamcast, and my laptop, and I'll be bringing up my GBA (or possibly a DS, if I find the right sale). Who needs games for the current consoles if you've got all of that plus a full courseload? :)

One more thought - driving near a mall, in the rain, at night, during rush hour traffic, and three days before Christmas? BAD IDEA. I'm amazed I made it home...
 
If anyone can pick me up a copy of Digital Devil Saga who is willing to part with it at a fair price I would be very greatful. All the TRU around me got picked clean or never had most of the games.
 
It's cool to see a lot of guys get what they wanted but I felt that I wasted my time as I hit 5 TRU's and only got Pirates and Pikmin 2. I wanted Tekken 5 but I wonder if the stores were already out before the markdowns or if I wasn't there early enough as I entered my first TRU at 9 instead of 8.

What is really frustrating is some people I saw who had bags of games, such as 3 copies of DDS and were still looking at the case for more stuff to buy. I wanted to utter to them to be happy with what you got and give other gamers a chance. Oh well, at least I got something out of this so thanks BenBoxer!

Also, free star wars controller, which I didn't get at TRU1.
All in all, I'm very pleased, can't thank the OP enough for the info.

I can understanding getting a couple of extra copies for trading or even ebay, but I don't understand getting 10+ copies of a game just to sell. It seems like that person would have plenty of money to start with. To each their own though. The most I have ever bought of one game was 2 copies of American McGee's Alice for .12 each new from EBgames. I was going to get all 3 copies they had but the guy working there said he didn't even know about the sale. I told him I'd just take the 2 and he could have the other one. I gave one copy to my brother-in-law and kept the other for myself.
 
I showed the CAG list to the employees at the TRUs I went to...they had me running around grabbing copies of games for them while they waited on customers. Also gave my copy of Magical Disney on GBA to an employee because they wanted it for their niece...then lucked into another copy at a different TRU. It was pretty funny walking into the store at 8 am today and the employee in the vid dept. had no idea that any of these games were marked down...when I first showed him the list and asked him what they had in stock...he said there was no way all that stuff was $10...he ended up buying like 15 games for himself.

Just got back from one of my local TRU's... score DKC2 and FF 1&2 for the GBA and Mario Party 5 and another copy of Pikmin 2 for the 'Cube.

Much respect to the op for keepin' it real... real cheap !!

It's not the process I'm confused about. It's what they mean by price adjust. What are they adjusting the price to? Why does it take $3 off?
