I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.
EDIT 4: Because no CAG wants to pay $5 more than he/she has to, shipwreck took the liberty of putting which games are eligible for $5 rebates on PriceGrabber. For complete info on the rebates check out this thread:

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

if you have the cube, your best bet is to get the Cube version. To be honest its worth the full price. A very enjoyable game from start to finish. if you get the PS2 version AFTER you played the cube, you better be prepaired for a watered down version :|

I went into Toy R Us last night at 11:35 pm and I asked the guy if he had Tekken 5 and he yes. He scanned the game and his eyes popped out of his head. "Tekken 5 is 9.99". There was 2 left. One for me and he snatched the other. He actually said to me " Thanks for the Christmas present" He then asked the other cashier about this sale and started grabbing all kinds of games. Very funny. It made my long ass day.

Agreed, I'm not counting on it being 4.99, $10 would REALLY be nice though. Just hoping I don't scan the games and find out that the blowout is $40 games.

Yeah, me too. I went to 3 TRU's and couldn't find DDS. One lady said some people came in right when they opened with the full lists and they were the first to go.

Well, I went and grabbed a copy of Geist. they had RE4's still so I grabbed two more copies of that.

I'm waiting on SDnake to find out about Boktai 2. But somebody PM me if they have an extra Boktai 2 in case I don't hear back from Snake.
 
give people some credit though, not all of them pitch a tent in the forum and check the first post all the damn time as if it's their lifeblood. i may have checked it once or twice when it was first put up and then i had not seen the later sale stuff.

I think it's funny that you call my illiteracy joke a "whiny childish upstart" right after telling me to get a tampon. That's funny. I think it's even funnier that you thought I seriously thought people here were illiterate. They're obviously not, considering they registered for the forum and know of this deal.

I'm glad my reply directing others where to get information bothers you so much. It's not my fault people can't read the first post, Cheapy's post, or the other posts after that. Cripes. Anyway, you're right, i'm just wasting my time helping people out because there will still be more that ask.
 
Wow, what a busy last few days.

I had a hard time falling asleep Wednesday night as I have been on a weird sleep schedule with the holidays. I caught a few hours sleep and actually overslept through my alarm. My girlfriend got me up when my backup alarm went off. I rushed out of the door to find ice all over my truck windows! Figuring I had no time to spare as I was already running late and everything may be picked over, I drove off with the ice still on the truck! Good thing it was scattered enough and I could still see. The defroster only started kicking in when I was about to pull into TRU.

Surprisingly all the cars at the store were employees! I only saw a mom and fellow CAGer Scorch in the R-Zone. I grabbed the two GBA games I really wanted to get for my girlfriend for Christmas, and I picked up two for myself. I wanted to get Pikmin 2, but the lady who was there ahead of me got the last copy for her kid I think, and that was definitely cool with me.

After chatting a bit with Scorch, I checked out, Pricematched RE4, chatted with the nice lady at the CS desk about the sale, since she didn't know it was happening and headed out. I had called the Hickory Hollow Toys R Us and they agreed to hold a copy of Pikmin 2 for me!

The Hickory Hollow TRU was completely vacant! This was at about 10:30am. I went over to their R-Zone and only one other older gentleman was there buying games. The list he had wasn't formatted like the ones here or at FW, so no clue where he got his. There was a really nice girl named Hope working at that Toys R Us who knew about the sale. She even went through the list of Gamecube games that they had and let me know which were in stock and which were not. I was trying to find a copy of RE4 for Scorch, so Hope gave me the numbers to all of the stores and I called every single one to find a copy. Unfortunately they were all out.

At the Hickory Hollow store, I had managed to get the last Pikmin 2 and Mario Party 4. They were out of MP5. There was one other copy of Zelda Four Swords left. Originally I had even forgotten about that game being on the list. Once Hope showed it to me I figured my girlfriend would be thrilled since she is a die-hard Zelda fanatic. All in all I scored really well. I hated that I couldn't find another copy of RE4, but I don't think it was sold out due to hoarders as copies were already gone earlier in the week before the list got leaked out.

Also after reading every single page in this thread, I want to say how extremely impressed I am with the CAG community. A friend had told me about the sale, so I registered here to just access the list. Seeing people not buying to selfishly make a profit (for the most part) and instead trying to help each other out really makes me smile at the spirit of this website. I applaud every one of you CAGers and especially benboxer for the original post. Thank you all very much!

Sure, people don't check the first post all the time. In my mind, that's fine. But if you have a question, before posting it check the first post to see if there's an update, and read the last three or four pages of the thread to make sure you're not repeating a question that was just asked.

Seems like common courtesy to me.

I'm glad you found one. I felt pretty bad when you were like, "crap, that was the one I wanted" and the woman checking out got the last one. Did you try out that Metal Slug Advance yet? I thought about biting the bullet and picking one up and trying it anyway with my DS (even though I heard it freezes like crazy), but when I went back about two hours later, all of 'em were gone. Have you tried getting any of those free controllers?

I went to a different Toys R Us store this time and I was happy to see Pimin 2 I got the last copy:), Metal Slug 4 & 5, Neo Contra and Shaman King 2 were available. No Resident Evil 4 though. They had a bunch of FF 1 & 2 and Zelda the Minish Cap available I will go back later and try to pick up those games and I hope to get lucky with Resident Evil 4. Fantastic sale thanks a lot CAG.

I read the first post, but i did it early on, the info may have not been there then i'm not sure but i was selectively only looking for the GBA FF game at the time anyway.

Even though I picked up Metal Slug for me, I went ahead and wrapped it and put my girlfriend's name on it. Figure atleast it would be a surprise to someone, since I already know what it is! All of the other games are already wrapped and with tags on them. I told my girlfriend she should wrap RE4 and tape it to the star on the tree :D

Pikmin 2 was also a gift for my girlfriend. Both she and my sister are going to be thrilled for christmas when they open all of these games. If Hope from Hickory Hollow is reading this, thank you SO MUCH for holding it for me, and for generally being a really cool person.

At Hickory Hollow the one guy with the oddly formatted list picked up 4 of the controllers. I only own a GBA and GC so I had no use for the controllers. I just hope he didn't wipe them out.

Now I'm off to wrap more gifts and clean the apartment for Christmas!
