damn somewhat glad I don't try to collect Japanese consoles or LE PS3s... yet. maybe helps that I still haven't played any of the MG/S games aside from maybe a bit of the gameboy game. when does this come out btw, should alert a friend about this.  oh and this is the REAL 5th main game right?

 
Ours is less than half the price of the full size. If the full scale is easy to obtain I'll grab one but I'm not worried. I'm amazed this hasn't gone live. I would be all over an ntsc u limited console.

Yup, you're right but as somebody recently pointed out, a Ground Zeroes themed PS4 was released for Japan only though too. So I hope this comes to the states. I like the LE design. I think the controller looks awesome. I don't usually jump on LE consoles but I will gladly jump on this and sell my standard console if this gets released in the U.S.
 
I'd rather have a CE similar to the MGS 4 one; just give me the Steelbook, documentary, and DLC for $80 and I'd be a happy camper. Don't need the stupid hand.

Konami really must have some balls to think that people would buy a game-themed console for MGS: GZ when it was a glorified tech demo. Wow.

Hopefully you'll get your wish for the MGSV: TPP PS4.

If you'd pay $80 for game + documentary + DLC + steelbook, that hand ends up being $20 extra. And if BB gets it in stock for ordering, it will be $80.

Considering MGS is one of the most critically acclaimed franchises in video game history, I'd say they weren't concerned about releasing a console for GZ.

 
I wondered how many people that said that Ground Zeroes is a glorified tech demo actually played the game. It seem most of these people just read articles or watch youtube speed runs and assume that you can do the same thing with your first play through of the game.

I mean compared to the fact that apparently a 4 hour game the retail for $60 is lauded as a good thing now then sure it's not all that bad

Actually everyone, reviewers and the general population alike, hates the fact that The Order is short as hell (I'm assuming you're talking about The Order). I refused to buy it because of it's game length and all my friends feel the same way. Not to mention it has zero replayability.

Ground Zeroes was $40 at launch for the PS4/X1 versions. On top of that, it had quite a bit of replayability for actual fans of the series. There were a lot of side missions and bonus objectives to do after the main story.

Lol the exaggeration is real with this one. Before we know it people will say it's only 3 hours then 2 then 1.

On topic: why is this taking so long to show up on any retailers site? I would think at least GameStop would have it by now.

Ground Zeroes for the PS4 and Xbox One was only $30 at launch.

The Order is much longer than the reported 5 hours though.

Has anyone stateside been able to complete the Konami website registration to attempt to buy this directly from their site. I was able to register and go through the entire process but when it gets to Konami ID and password, it will not accept my password and there seems to be an issue which I cannot resolve and I even changed my password as I did forgot password and it still will not allow me to checkout.
