(With amazon things though its usually just cheaper to have them ship it and sell the game myself.

Though... with all these region-locked games I have it probably wouldn't hurt me to just purchase a darn EU/PAL console and 3DS.

Still, even if it was $40 after everything, it seems kinda pricey... especially since it's just the same artwork (sans text) as the standard cover. The original's steelbook was the same way too, I think, at least the French one was (not sure if there were other regions). The Last Story and Pandora's Tower, now those were some sweet ass steelbooks.

Not knocking anyone that imported the CE, just saying is all... buying the import CE and then also having to buy a NA game to play is gotta be expensive. I mean, I would probably do it if the Wii U was region free or easy to get around the region lock (like the Wii was) but Nintendo had to be ass-backwards.

QFT. Im not sure whats confusing here or why some people are defending MS... CE's are targeted towards.. you know.. collectors. We tend to want actual physical disks and swag. That CE was a friggin tranwreck

In my past experience, Best Buy pre-orders have shipped for me a day or two before Amazon, so I usually can dump my Amazon backup order before it ships out.

We'll see what happens a week or so before release and if it's fixed on Best Buy's website or not.

I took a shot on a pre-order, with a PDF print of the item page showing the CE illustration. It might be another Titanfall situation where they screwed up the CE for the non-CE price and ended up giving the CE to people at the $59.99 price.

We'll see if it shows up as the CE or not, or if it gets canceled or not.

the main problem was "Target Employees" according to both Target Reps and also Jones Cola Reps each store got "AT LEAST 1 CASE OF 12". Yet when the store opens alot of stores suddenly had none or less then 5 when stores open before even a single person bought one.

It was then reported multiple locations and even confirmed in some locations that a huge percentage of them went to Target Employees.

It made the front page of Yahoo!; so with a week worth of planning I'm sure people will be out in full force. I'm going to have to pull a few strings to get one of the employees, to hopefully hide one for me. If they get 72/store and enforce quantity limits I think I'll be okay

no but they used to do that all the time with sold out amiibos to. if it something you looked at before they were send those emails even if the item out of stock or sold out or no longer carried.

Amazon is sold out, Best Buy apparently sold out 2 days ago after only a couple of hours, and theres barely any copies left within 100 miles of me at Gamestop. Gamestop.com does have the game available, so idk how true it is but if youre a fan of collecting Wii U games, this might be the last chance you have of getting this game.

PS: I know the game scored terribly etc but just wanted to post in case it may change peoples minds. I placed a Gamestop order myself, and will return it if it turns out theres reprints etc.

copies of devils third being sold for 200 bucks on ebay. jesus lol so stupid. Also all the auctions claim Nintendo said "no more copies will be printed". But Nintendo never actually said that. 

 
Man, Nintendo really knows how to move copies of a shitty game that no one was going to buy to begin with.  They have it down to a science by now.  Deliberately hold back copies from retailers to create a false scarcity and let everyone else hype it up.  Then slowly trickle out copies to stores, which sell out instantly as people can't believe they didn't have to pay $200 for this "rare" game.  No, they only had to pay full retail price for a shitty, broken game that, let's face it, none of us would give two shits about for over $20 if it was released in any quantity.

Nintendo knows what they are doing.  And I'm pretty sure we will be able to find more of these for sale in the future.
