I wouldn't be surprised if Micro$oft opened their wallet again and bought the TR ip to give Sony a real gut punch against Uncharted.  Crazier things have happened but something seems odd about this exclusive deal than may flesh out at Gamescon.

Microsoft hasnt shown a history of buying IPs. Gears or War is the only one that comes to mind. Microsoft hardly buys any gaming studios for that matter.

Edit: I forgot about Minecraft. But minecraft is a while different beast than Tomb Raider. Plus I just dont see SE selling off an IP unless they really start hurting for money.
