If that's the case, I'll just leave it with Amazon and not worry about paying for shipping on this on by switching it to GS.

It also doesn't have the Pickup At Store like the Yoshi Wooly World and Chibi Robo bundles did, so I think this one will be website only as well.

Due it ill informed buyers.

A soccer mom doesn't know what to look for or what to buy. But she can walk into a GameStop, say the name of what she is supposed to get, and an employee is there, since they are customer service oriented, to provide her the game and take all her uneducated buyer money.

Not only that, but I remember when I was a kid. I loved going to comic book stores. They were awesome. Just to look at all the comics, all the cards, all the Pogs (REMEMBER THOSE?) (Prob not if you're under 25), etc....

I'm sure it's the same way for kids in GameStop these days. Get Mom to take them to GameStop and be in heaven and spend allowance.

+1 for Pogs. I was the only kid that collected them on my block.

 
Did anyone else receive the MGS Steelbook from eBay? Am I the only one that thought this would have space for two discs and the logo at the back would be a fridge magnet... I thought that was the case.. But this holds a single disc and the back logo is printed on the Steelbook and is not a removable magnet .... Hmmmmm.. Anyone else have an insight on that?

 
My best friend had one of those Pog makers and stole some of his dad's Playboys to make nude Pogs. I think we were 12 or so. Good times.

I did. The one I got it from showed the inside of the case so I knew it was only one disc. Also it looked like it was just printed on the back. I'm not sure which one you got it from.

Mine too. Actually, that was the second one I received about the date changing. Who knows. Today's the 20th anniversary of the ps1 so I guess it makes sense. I can't wait to see it.
 
Yeah headphones seem to have a release date of the 12th with Best Buy. I hate how they didn't announce an official date. Seems like I could walk into a GameStop tomorrow and pick up a controller.
 
I'm not sure if any of you are interested in this, but the Tearaway Special Edition with the Iota plush can be ordered from Amazon.es.  It's not exactly a "Cheap Ass Deal" since it's MSRP, but still a collector's item.  You can use your USA Amazon account to login.

I won a pog tournament at a local sports card and magic shop when I was a kid.  I got a 4 foot tube of pogs + slammers as first prize.  It was pretty awesome.

If you don't have the expansion pass you can't get them yet. If you do, you provide photo proof that you do and they will email you a promo code to enter into their website to place an order. Look in the last 30-40 posts for what shrike posted about the deal.

I don't have the pass, so I will wait until they show up at retail and then place an order for them.

For me, the disc drive was/is the problem. When I sent my PS4 in, it was spontaneously ejecting discs from its drive. Sometimes it happened while I was playing a game, sometimes it happened in sleep mode, powering the console on in the process. Whenever it did happen, the console would no longer accept any discs, and the disc drive would make intermittent grinding noises until the console was rebooted. The console wouldn't power down normally when this was happening either, though, I would have to physically unplug it to get it to power down.

When Sony sent my PS4 back to me, they sent me a different refurbished console, not the one I sent in. The replacement console is starting to not recognize discs when I change them to play different games. The problem is solved with a normal reboot, so it's not as much of a nuisance as the initial problem was, but it's becoming annoying because it's happening more and more often.

For the disk eject/beeping thing as someone else mentioned the problem with that is usually the stupid rubber foot they put on the bottom. It would expand/contract and force the eject button sensor. Theres a lot of fixes online for it including messing with a set screw, but for me what worked was just really physically moving it arond and pushing it really far back and in with my hand. That beeping/ejecting was driving me nuts. It would even do it when off. Havent had any issues since i gave it a good shove.

I went to ebay last night too. I almost bought some crap but decided to go to sleep before I drained my wallet on more shit from my childhood. Bought a bunch of Nintendo Power magazines from the 90's a few weeks ago... yea... they are still in the Priority Mail box they were shipped to me in and I haven't looked at them...
