No, the problem with this thread is every stupid moron in it just buys CEs hoping to flip it, then when the CE is still in stock after release they come here to complain about how they're gonna return it
 
Well my GoW CE from Best Buy got delayed.  Not to happy about this since this is like the 3rd pre-order in a row this has happened and I'd ordered it as soon as it went up.  I'm seriously starting to think they don't know what the concept of a pre-order actually is.

Seems like a good idea to secure it if the value will be higher in the future- wait if it may be cheaper and keep money freed up. Some of these things plummet in value and you can find a sealed one on the secondary market for much better deal. That’s my strategy anyway. I don’t need any of these things and they usually stay in the box. Today or five years from now.

Heh, moderation is what led this site to decline over the years. The complaints from top posters were post removals and they all moved on sadly.

The liquidation begins... speaking of Ni No Kuni, I did pull the trigger and ordered the King's Edition as well after reading how people were getting them double-boxed. No such luck for me. When it arrived, the shipping box was destroyed - one side of it had been re-taped to try and keep it together. The King's Edition was not in it's own box, so it did not look great. Probably better than it should've been given what the outer box looked like. It was dirty with a couple of smashed corners. It had also already been opened. I am guessing customs really had their way with it.

 
Anyone have a NM/not beat to crap outer slip of Yakuza 6 After Hours Premium edition they don't want or want to sell? Trying to get a clean one for my box.

I just finished it and not bitter about paying 160+ for the US version but I'd say the CAG price is around 100 at best. I was very disappointed in the soundtrack with 4 tracks (don't know why I expected more from a sampler). The game itself has a pretty amazing grind loop where at 35 hours and beating the main game theres another 30+ hours of just kingdom building, monster hunting, etc. I'll come back when the DLC starts dropping but I really hope some of it isn't post game because very few will use it otherwise.

 
Anyone else going to return their copy of Ni No Kuni II CE? My window is still open on Amazon (paid $170 after Prime discount + tax), and the fact that it's already $150 tells me this is probably going to go lower.

Sadly so, but the steelbook + ultimate edition gets GCU. I won't be doing the full collectible kit because that game releases less than a week before my Jurassic Park 4k collection w/ steelbook.

Given how slim the odds are of getting one of these shipped that aren't beat-up, I think I'm stuck with mine since I doubt I'll get one in any better condition. I was going to keep the King's Edition and sell off pieces of the US CE to pay for it (I wasn't going to give up the US art book and possibly the steelbook), but once that arrived beat up, dirty, and opened the US CE turned into a keeper.

 
Got my Stone Mason Edition today and it's definitely one of the best collector's edition so far. Very high quality trinkets! I'm excited to start playing the game later!

 
So are we not getting a NA CE or steelbook for Detroit Become Human? Only a month out and still nothing is a clear indication, right? Haven't really paid attention before, let me know if I'm wrong.

There's not solid leads on a Detroit CE anywhere let alone NA. Beyond got the GS exclusive steelbook but heavy rain got nothing. I use the Beyond case to hold the UK disc with both Beyond and Heavy Rain on it.

Heavy Rain preorders at GS back in 09 got the prequel chapter DLC for free.

BB of course has GCU and a $10 reward card.

 
so, everywhere but BestBuy calls it a 'Croft Steelbook Edition', 

surely Bestbuy is carrying the same.  Can't imagine they'd yank the steelbook just to sell at bestbuy, although maybe...
