I cancelled my Owlboy order over the weekend, thought over it and just couldn't justify it (yet i have a power armor fo76 still on order -_-)

 
So....Best Buy magically put the Owlboy CEs they cancelled (including mine) back up online, and Gamestop doesn't have the Solaire amiibo in stock. Banner day so far

I assume you mean Signature Edition Games, SEG? Their packaging has greatly improved. They now bubble wrap the game before placing it in a normal box, not the foldover mailer they previously used. Shipping now includes tracking, but you have to sign for it though.

 
They saved me $$$ on that Soul Calibur CE since they went with a mini art-book.  Had that been normal or over-sized, I might have been tempted.   It wouldn't have been as big of a deal if they didn't have to inflate the price even more thanks to the usual cheap plastic "statue".   Best Buy will have to make room next to the Ni No Kuni and Marvel Vs. Capcom CEs to store these....

Best Buy showing Owlboy CE for PS4 as available and in stock! Just snagged an order, with GCU ended up being $55 before tax.

It was packaged fine. Had a right sized box lined with bubble wrap.

I did get a couple of emails from them saying they heard the complaints and overhauled their whole packaging process.

I bought the CE with just a gcu discount and took a bath on it reselling it because it tanked so bad in value. It's pretty terrible sadly and I'd only reccomend to people who want to play aloy of fighting games and already have the better options.
 
Finally picked up my Owlboy CE at BB and was incredibly shocked at how big it was. That sucker is huge considering what is inside.

Yeah, its got a lot of weight and volume. I also like how its made to look like a book. Pretty cool idea for the Soedesco LE series of games.

 
Does anyone know if the Deluxe version of Soul Calibur VI is supposed to be limited? I can't find anything that says it is, but BB is sold out. Dunno if I should look into picking it up now or waiting for a price drop.

This happens quite often with fighting games on PS4, especially CE/LE. Only place I was able to find it for PS4 was Target. Its very possible there won't be a restock since it was a limited deluxe edition so it may be a good idea to grab it from Target

 
Anyone get a steelbook added to a previous Fallout 76 order at BB?

I was tempted to try with a chat, but afraid to have anyone screw with the order. (it's a power armor)  

They've messed up and not had a couple of my orders lately that were store pickup.  Never even got my Astro Bot. Had to cancel and go with Gamestop.

Nope, they gave me the run around, I was told to contact them again if it shipped without the steelbook, with reference to the initial convo as well.

I have the power armor edition pre-ordered, and when I contacted them via online chat about this, they just manually added the steelbook order to my account and priced it at $0 to be shipped to me the same time as my Power Armor FO76. They didn't edit the initial order, just added it as a separate order to my account.

 
The best buy forum guy told me 2 weeks before it shipped we would all get it added to our orders and to not worry about not getting it.

This sounds right as that's what happened with the last few games I have ordered where the gift wasn't in the listing at preorder. I believe they wait till near release so they can reduce the number of changes their system has to make due to cancellations, etc...

 
Does anybody want to take over my PS4 Fallout 76 Power Edition from amazon? I am strongly thinking about canceling unless someone wants it. PM if you're interested and you have good feedbacks.

 
Picked up the last copy of SCVI deluxe edition for X1 at a Best buy in them metro Detroit area today. I did not expect this to be hard to find or particularly limited!

Fwiw I played the beta tonight and thought it's alright so far, a little iffy on staying with the power armor $$ but at least I got in with GCU. Did those Walmart preorders that got the $90 discount stay good so far,?

My home GS in STL sold out of the regular edition (granted they got around 10 copies) on PS4 & all the Deluxe/CE picked up.

I doubt Namco wanted to print a lot of Deluxe copies since they were too cheap to put the season pass code in the CE.

Ended up getting a PS4 copy from Amazon this week, too. I've been more wary about pre-ordering now that Prime doesn't offer a 20% discount, but from everything I've seen it looks pretty darn good. I'm determined not to let this one sink into the backlog.

I cancelled my SC6 deluxe because I have too many games ordered already.  Figured I could catch it on sale later.  Maybe not.

All I wanted was the metal case though for my 'steelbook' obsession.

 
I'm still on the fence for the power armor edition I have ordered....  not being able to get it in the future if I cancel makes for a tough choice.

I'm also starting to really get into steelbooks - I know Target still has the Deluxe for sale, which you can take 5% off by having a Redcard. Trying to debate if it's worth pulling the trigger, never been much into fighting games because the barrier to entry seemed so high skill wise, but some of the new modes in there (Quest/Story mode) seem like it would provide alot of hours of entertainment.

Looks like beta is affecting pre-orders since the PC version was in-stock briefly. I'm sure there will be plenty left over when the dust settles. Next week will be telling once the full beta is in effect.

Yep. I wound up waiting out the Titanfall helmet I really wanted. Could've had it with GCU day 1 at bestbuy but went with base version. After catching it clearance on Amazon thinking I got a deal.... the math of original purchase + clearance wound up almost the same. :whistle2:

My one CE I really wish I could've gotten was the Yellow Claptrap. Just couldn't pay 400 for that...

yeah I waited it out and got the titanfall helmet from AWD, debating doing the same on FO76, I've heard the helmets are a pretty limited amount from people involved but it does look really nice

Anyone know what the darksiders 3 statues will be made of? Will they be actual statues or the typical ce plastic cheap ones. If the latter its definitely not worth 400 plus tax.
