They probably will--the Endless Summer edition is basically just a glorified Day-One edition, so Best Buy will hopefully add it later.

Best Buy does revolving authorization charges against the CC for pre-orders. Basically, this means that they issue a pending charge to card for the amount of the order every few weeks just to make sure the card is still valid (these pending charges drop off within a few business days). When issuance of a pending charge fails, they will send you an e-mail notification and you will be able to change/update your CC for the order right in your order history.

Sheesh - got 3 different emails all within an hour that the FF Explorers CE came back in stock and I checked a few minutes or minute after each one and never saw it back in stock.  Must be onesy-twosies or something :(

Yeah, not sure what gives - they used to give you a "private" link ("private" because it could be shared) that would allow you to order from their waiting-list stock. The game wouldn't show available if you went to it via the regular site. But now it seems they just give you a link that leads to their front page (not even the item in question). Wish they'd go back to the old method.

My experience with the Carbuncle plushes were the exact same, every time. I have clicked the email within seconds of receiving it and it'll still be sold out. You probably need to setup a page monitor for something like this.

It sold out within 24 hours at Bestbuy and Amazon. Lasted about 3 days at Gamestop, then restocked at Gamestop and lasted 1 more day.

I noticed Rice Digital UK is having a sale, and the Steins Gate El Psy Kongroo edition (the rice digital exclusive one you're mentioning) is in stock on sale for both PS3 and Vita. $37.49 USD and shipping to Minnesota was only about $7.

Once it prepares to ship, they will attempt a charge. If it fails they will send you an email and you can log in and update it then. I think you have like 24 to 48 hours to update it.

Those are the UK versions though. The US versions of both sold out long ago.

Gamestop took in store preorders at the same time. It lasted slightly longer than online. But people on reddit reported cancellations due to overselling. People who preordered in stores towards the end of the preorder availablility had theirs canceled.

Damn, so truly limited. Of course no guarantees, but even the FE LE 3DS ended up evening itself out. I wonder if this SE will stay high in price.

The thing about Fire Emblem Fates SE is that there's really no incentives for Nintendo to make too many of these. They charge $79.99 for the SE, which is exactly what all 3 versions of the game would cost if you buy each version seperately. So they're basically throwing in the artbook and 3ds pouch for free. Theyre not making any extra revenue selling the SE vs just hoping more people buy all 3 versions seperately, its actually the opposite.

Isn't that the only way to get the third "version" in physical format, though? Otherwise you're forced to download it.

SE's and CE's do have the effect of getting people to buy at release or preorder though, which means you don't risk discounting (which used to be rare for Nintendo, but in the past few years has become fairly common). So, while MSRP might be the same for this and buying the three games separately, there is probably some financial advantage for Nintendo in getting someone to commit to $80 up front rather than risk someone only buying one of the games and/or waiting for a sale down the road.

Yep. Fire Emblem Fates is one of the few CEs you really didn't want to sleep on. This thing is going to be pretty valuable unless more copies materialize.

True, but Fire Emblem historically don't ever drop in price. I think Awakening was on sale once and now 3 years later still go for msrp. Furthermore, I think Nintendo is very confident with Fates that they don't need to hope to sell all 3 versions thru the special edition. They took a pretty bold move to make 3 seperate versions to began with. Pretty sure they're confident it'll sell well as a standalone without having to give away too many freebies with the SE.

It's just showing Waiting List for me. I thought I had pre-ordered this way back when it was originally posted for sale... apparently not. I must have talked myself out of it given the typical over-production of SE CEs.

I must not have been watching this site around that time. Was there a difference aside from the US rating vs EU rating, etc on the packaging? I knew about the PC physical LE that came to the USA, but not the PS3 and Vita USA LE's.

GS preorders of FE get 3 "only at GS" character keychains that will be available at pickup. It was posted in their weekly ad today.

It looks the blue-haired dancer, Corrin's mother?, & the brother from the Conquest storyline.

Wondering if I should cancel mine and just get the regular edition. $86 bucks is a lot for a DS game lol.

 
After seeing the Japanese version, which is practically the same edition that the US got, $86 isn't a bad price for the amount of content you get.  I decided to keep mine.

Well free shipping is only for $100 or over which all other CEs I preordered from them pretty much were. For FF Explorers. I preordered 2 anyways since my cousin wanted a copy. That way no need to pay for shipping again. My super saver free shipping says 5 to 10 days. But I've always gotten it on release day. I think the shipping speed only applies to post preorders.

Ok guys I have officially ran out of room with my current setup for CE statues, miniatures, and Steelbooks. If I continue to monitor this thread then I need some new ideas on what to do for displays. I do open my stuff so I am not displaying packaging.

If you want please send me some pictures via a message of your displays/setups, including Infinity stuff (I just started this and I can already tell its dangerous). I currently have quite a bit of larger statues and even posters, maps and such for wall displays. My room space is pretty large considering I have taken over the large living room in our basement now that the kids are married or off to college and wife hates basements.

Regardless of your collection size any ideas are helpful.

Before you CAG hardliners start to burst a vein in your neck, I know there are other forums on the site for questions and I know this isnt specifically talking about a CE deal but this seems like the best place to get the word out to fellow collectors for help. Just take a deep breath and watch some youtube videos of Daily affirmations with Stuart Smalley.

Not really sure how much stuff you have, but my wife and I built these shelves to display our CE stuff (got the idea from some guy from Home Depot). I thought it was pretty useful, they are also adjustable and you can add/subtract levels. was very easy to do as well.

Man, I missed the FFE CE again!? I've been F5'ing periodically throughout the day AND checking my email but I never got a notification.  Are you guys using site monitors or something? Hopefully there'll be some more opportunities soon.  Oh well, at least I finally got that Oryx HM Challenge ship and fragment! ;)
