Just fyi on this one. i saw it in person at NYCC 2015 at the Project Triforce booth. If you are one of the two people are still reading after I said Triforce and didn't dismiss it there, it also did not look good. The item itself looked solid(Like not flimsy), but the paint and sculpting left a lot to be desired. It was not marked as a prototype nor did it look like a prototype. It just looked like one of Triforces phoned in attempts at a CE level collectible. Speaking of, any word on Dragon Age Inquisitor edition replacements? Only been a year and a half.

Apparently the pages say it will apply to all preorders, so hopefully that so. I have both systems for Zero Time Dilemna, plus super sold out stuff like Fire Emblem and Megaman Collection's LEs.

Would probably get me flagged if I contact Amazon that many times lol

Yeah they definitely are, but GCU is still a better deal for the most part. If I understand the terms correctly, a $60 game that is on sale for $52 or something would still come to $47.99 after the discount, because the 20% only applies to the list price. It'll be fine for preorders and is another good option for cheaper CEs.

A game rarely goes on sale 2 weeks after release, so through Amazon you would still pay the $52. I'll stick with gcu.

It seems pretty phoned in - a crappy looking statue (unless you want to paint it I guess), soundtrack, and "visual sourcebook".  Seems like one of those CEs that'll be 50% off everywhere a few months later, like Halo 5 or every Ubisoft game.

I just replaced nearly all of my BB GCU pre-orders with Amazon ones.   I agree that GCU is still better overall (works on non-pre-orders/new releases, stacks with sales, stacks with the $10 certs, Reward Zone points, etc.).  

But if a pre-ordered game doesn't have a $10 cert on it, I'll choose Amazon every time now - my Amazon distribution center packages items far better than BB does (boxes instead of flimsy bubble mailers), no tax (no physical Amazon presence yet in CO), and no revolving authorizations on the credit card.

 
My wife is the primary prime account, she gets all the features like prime video and stuff and she pays the annual fee (she also has an amazon credit card).  My account is her add on account, I get free shipping but don't get any of the other extras like free videos, free kindle book rentals, etc.  Mostly we order with her account but mine predates her a few years and I keep it around, never had any probs.

I still got the 20% discount on new games though, just did a test with overwatch and it dropped it to $48 in the cart on the last page of checkout (won't show up till then).

Ah, you are correct. I didn't realize you had to go all the way to checkout to see the discount. I stopped at adding the item to my cart.

Did the same thing with my preorders for the same reasons. Amazon doesn't charge tax in my state either.

 
has anyone had any of the amazon preorders that were done awhile ago get adjusted yet? I see my UC 4 CE is still the normal price but now its unavailable so I cant cancel and reorder.

They sent out an email this morning saying that all pre-orders will be adjusted in the next 5 business days.

I also have my UC4 CE and it hasn't been adjusted, heck, neither have any of my orders. But they will, if not just contact CS.

I would wait though, pretty sure they have a high volume of people asking the same thing through there chat.

this happen a lot with Amazon a lot of sold out CE sometimes come back only on Amazon a month or so before release since that when amazon usually have a exact number on how many they getting

Who knows, could be a small restock, but for Amazon only. it's interesting that it's PS4 only. Also Amazons original Mighty no 9 presell was by far the shortest of any retailer. Amazon was also the only retailer that mysterious had more Juggernog Editions available for preorder in late September for a short time. But no other retailer did after its initial preorders in July.
 
Does anyone know if NIS Store actually has promo/coupon codes? I'm going to order the Nights of Azure CE and they have a line for promo codes.

none that are current and haven't been none in long time at least a year or more. They used to have $5 every so many months and even $10 every now and then but nothing in the past 12 or more months.
 
Just want to make sure, the only difference between the Mighty NO 9. Signature and standard editions is the statue, right?

I think it's been a lot longer than a year. In fact, other than sales from time to time which don't require a code, I don't recall them ever doing promo codes for discounts off games in the years they have been doing LE/CEs. You might be thinking of the way they used to do their reward points in $5 increments and actually issuing a certificate that had a code that had to be entered rather than the way they do it now where you just click on the apply points option during ordering.

In fact, other than sales from time to time which don't require a code, I don't recall them ever doing promo codes for discounts off games in the years they have been doing LE/CEs. You might be thinking of the way they used to do their reward points in $5 increments and actually issuing a certificate that had a code that had to be entered rather than the way they do it now where you just click on the apply points option during ordering.

probably cause i know couple years ago they used to do $5 every 3 months and it was a code you had to type in similar to a gift certificate. So the promo field could just be a left over relic from back then they just left lol

 
Mighty No. 9 is back out of stock.  Probably a good thing for me.  I backed the kickstarter and honestly don't have that much interest any more, but I'm a sucker for CE's.  I probably would have bought it even though I already bought it....two and a half years ago. 

 
Got an email saying the LE of Life is Strange on PC (which I believe is a Square Enix store exclusive) is down to less than 1k. Also the LiS Facebook is claiming the LE for PS4/XB1 is nearly OoS at retail?

So glad that I've been able to abstain throwing a bunch of money at Kickstarter.

I was tempted to back Mighty No. 9, but held back and instead got a signature edition preordered with GCU. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Bloodstained has a similar situation.

It's nice to see these projects come to fruition, but it's at great expense to backers.
