My SE and gold coin for Uncharted were delivered. My GF is installing the updates now for when I get home so we can play together (what a lucky guy I am). ;)

That's good. My dad's has some weird tracking number that I guess UPS and USPS are doing in tandem now or some junk. I kind of hope that means it'll come that way for me as well because USPS gets here around 3:00 PM (it's always delivered by the time I get home from work, around 3:2), while UPS takes until almost 6 PM at times.

Picked up my LE U4 and coin(didn't think I was geting one) earlier. Best Buy decided to stick a red BB.com Pick Slip right on the box. I did get it off without ripping it but C'mon mannnnnn, get it together BB.

Anyone have an opinion on if/when the Uncharted 4 CE will go on sale? I've never played Uncharted before so I'm not sure on how the other CEs did. I picked one up but I'm thinking of returning it and waiting for it to go on sale.

I'm also contemplating trading it in ASAP to GameStop with the 50% bonus and picking the game up on sale in the future to bring the overall cost of the CE down.

Probably not for a good while since the game is garnering such high scores and praise all around.

Best Buy is weird with shipping...they don't ship everything together, usually separately even if it'll come in the same UPS truck. I remember they had a spasm when I ordered AC Unity and Syndicate during their Black Friday sale. It took forever to ship, then they shipped it separately and charged me after refunding me. My coin came in a standard mailer bag, and the box came in a huge one.

The Uncharted CE is pretty nice. Kinda wish I had gotten it at Best Buy for the coin, but I used flipping credit at Gamestop/Amazon so I barely even paid half the price for the thing all together.

Statue looks nicer than I expected, though it feels a bit flimsy on the base. Steelbook looks awesome though

I'm surprised at how well Best Buy packed my Uncharted 4 CE.  Large box with about 50 air packets inside for cushioning.  Well done BB.  Maybe they are finally getting how to ship out these things.

Mine was sent the exact same way! I grabbed what looked like 10 of those air packet things and ended up pulling out a long string of them for like 10 seconds. I felt like a magician pulling handkerchiefs from their sleeve. :lol:


To everyone wondering about the coins, they were likely either packaged and/or shipped from different warehouses. It's not that out of the ordinary for things like this... Especially when they're set up as actual items within their stores and website like BBY always does.

Mine came in a large box with no air packets at all. It varies on the warehouse and/or person packing them.

 
Yeah, the Uncharted 4 CE is really great, the steelbook is gorgeous and it has a code inside for some extra skins.  I also got a seperate code from amazon for another different set of skins (pre order bonus) and some more MP coins that lets you buy boosts / treasure packs.

Game is amazing, only on chapter 3 but loving every second so far.  So glad i finished up Uncharted Collection over the last 2 months, lets me jump straight into this.  Don't forget to play multiplayer in UC4, its really, really fun.

 
Didnt preorder uncharted this time around due to not having time to play videogames as much. Im seeing that CE and SE are widely available still... Might just pick on of those up when price drops for them. Dont care about MP so i can wait. Hehe
 
Did anyone else have a problem with the BB dlc codes for Uncharted 4? I put the codes in but then the PS Store sorta kicked me out and now the dlc is nowhere on my system and it says the code was already used. The dlc appears on my online account though in the download history. 

Do the costumes/gold weapon skin not appear until I get bonuses unlocked in the menu?

Where do these codes come from? Were they on the receipt? Got the 80 dollar CE but don't ever remember getting a promo email.

My BB codes redeemed just fine.

Fatbot, they were in an email I got today along the lines of "Redeem your playstation code" or something like that.

Mine had no cushioning, lucky you lol and yeah the statue came out nicely, but the base is a problem. might be the pose..

No, but it wasn't advertised as coming with the CE. I checked all 3 versions before buying and the standard edition and the Special Edition ($79.99) were advertised as coming with two free items (the coin and the DLC) but the CE was only advertised as coming with one free item (the coin). Not sure if it was an error on BB's part, or intentional, but a post on the Best Buy Unboxed forums could probably help sort it out.

I had an email show up from BB with DLC to download. I've not downloaded it yet, though it showed up a day after shipment.

I did, but I had ordered the Special Edition prior and couldn't cancel it. I do have an extra code I am selling since I have no need for both.

The Libertalia Edition comes with ALL pre-order DLC, meaning all of the retailer specific DLC is included in the package with additional DLC for multiplayer (skins for that dude who follows you around in MP).

Yeah, same. Unfortunately, though, I also got the U4 LE PS4 console, and it came in a separate box with hardly any air packets. There is a large dent the size of my fist or so in one corner. Not a deal breaker, just annoying.

I put the Uncharted 4 disc in my PS4 last night to let it install and update. It pulled a 5ish GB update. During that download, I went to the PS Store and input my CE code and another code I have from Gamestop for Uncharted 4. Both times, the code would show the correct items and redeem, but hitting the last "OK" would just give me a blank blue screen. If you hit X or O on your controller an additional time, it will either take you to the main PS storefront or your XMB on PS4 (I cant remember which). Just an odd quirk I guess.

If you go into the Uncharted 4 icon on the XMB and push down to get to the DLC items you own, it will show you a list somewhere there- it's not hard to find. If it says you have it, you do because the license is tied to your account.

I verified all of this- I briefly logged in to Uncharted 4 multiplayer last night, and I was able to change the sidekick costume, equip the golden weapon skin, etc no problem. My Uncharted Points total was also accurate.

That Wii U Pokken Tournament "limited edition" I posted a while back now has a Pikachu version coming only to Gamestop.  That older "LE" is still available, so not very limited or not in high demand.  Release 7/31 for $24.99 "limited quantities"
