I remember when we were all disappointed in Amazon for cancelling those Goliath orders that were $23.99. 1 year later and we're almost down to that price anyway.

I'm only interested in the car, but it doesn't look too impressive based on this video. It reminds me of the cheap quality of the Gears of War 2 tank that BB gave away for free.

FYI, this is pushed back to 11/21 now. Also, it should probably state it's The Art of Wolfenstein II.

Regarding the layout of the first post, should we just list one entry for each game (maybe based on the release date of the actual game)? It's pretty common for the art books (and sometimes the guides) to come out at a later date. Not sure if it's confusing to have multiple listings. For example, Wolfenstein II shows up twice right now (10/27 for the game and 11/7 for the art book). Maybe we just put all Wolfenstein II stuff under 10/27 and call that good enough?

 
Pre-orders haven't even gone up for the SNES classic in the US and it looks like N is already planning a N64 classic.

They better produce plenty of extra controllers for 4 play smash and goldeneye...

In other Nintendo news, Nintendo just announced that they are ending production on the N64 Classic.

 
Not sure how popular N64 classic would be.  Early 3D games, especially N64 games with 2k texture cache, were blurry as hell and did not age well at all.  N64 is one of the few systems to not have a notable improvement with RGB output.  Curious how it turns out.  Upscaled 320x224 with stretched 2k textures won't look good on HDMI no matter what you do with it.

 
It would probably still fly off the shelves at $100 even if it only included Mario 64, Mario Kart and Goldeneye. :)

Knew I forgot something. I'll add vinyls to the OP, got to remember and save a section in the IX CE thread.

Updated Undertale for 31st of Sept, placeholder until they confirm a date. Fixed The Art of Wolfenstein. If games have a different date I'll add them twice or thrice. Art of Wolfenstein II will obviously not have a CE or Steelbook but the formatting looks better to me. I edited the patch notes to include Deals. Looks very messy but I really like adding what I've updated.

I tried playing mario party on like a modest sized plasma tv that still had the AV ports around a year ago. it looked horrible.

If it was composite NTSC it's going to look like crap anyway. NTSC is what you get when you encode digital values in factors of turd sogginess.

Yeah I also had second guesses, good to know it's sold out. I just didn't see enough to justify a $40 increase, so I'll pass on it too

 
Don't worry about Undertale.  It's the most overrated game of 2015.  Seriously, play it on Steam for ten dollars before you spend $64.

It's been inconsistent. Some titles have the $10 "tax" and some don't. What will happen is then 3rd parties will complain how poorly their titles are selling on the Switch versus the other systems. Well duh, how about selling them at the same price for starters....

I believe it was LRG's Doomstink who pointed out Switch carts cost about the same as Vita carts to make. And go figure...with Axiom Verge the Vita version is priced the same as the PS4 version. So annoying....

Also, has the physical WiiU version of Axiom Verge been officially canned?

Weird, I got an email from Walmart and figured it was a cancellation email, but mine is actually a price adjustment from $73.80 down to $71.93. Still not entirely confident it won't get cancelled.

My $42 Sonic Mania CE (PS4) for in store pick up is still processing and wasn't canceled, so I have a feeling the majority of these low preorder prices will be honored.

 
Anyone else not getting the prime discount on axiom verge? Hope they're not treating "multiverse edition" as a collectors edition...

Edit: actually there is a regular vanilla version of the game so I guess multiverse edition really is a CE

Having the word "edition" on the case insert on a $30 standard game does not make it a collector edition.

They clearly meant to not discount $200+ Collector Editions but are using it as an excuse to yank the discount on any game that says "edition" on the cover art, even if it's actually just the standard and only version of that game.

Games are added to Amazon all the time without the Prime discount. You can either wait for them to add it or plan on contacting them to fix later.

In the past 2 days, I've bought 3 CEs fro Amazon that dropped pretty low. The Gears of War 4 variant Amazon exclusive for $70, Deus Ex Mankind Divided for $36, and the TriForce Injustice 2 The Versus Collection for $39. I'm comfortable paying these prices even though they might drop a couple dollars. This is the main reason I don't buy CEs for triple AAA games on release because 95% of them drop dramatically and my backlog is so big, don't need to play any game on release. Even Nintendo CEs have been common lately with the exception of Zelda BotW Master Sword CE.

Nice, I missed of missed it. The LRG thread is a horror show with ebay complaining and loose disc talk. I'll certainly hold off and wait for that than. Does the Asia edition have English dub? Is this a game even with voices? I know it says English, but it isn't clear if its Englished subbed or dubbed, and like I said I don't even know if dub is necessary.

I think they're just taking orders for a limited time and then will press however many orders they get. I like the look, I just don't currently have a record player.

Oh well, I'm sure I can sell it for a decent chunk of the cost back if I change my mind later. *orders*

I just bought the Ratchet And Clank vinyl, Power Rangers vinyl, and Legend of Zelda vinyl from iam8bit the other day. Then I bought the Sonic Mania Limited vinyl from Data Discs yesterday. So my wallet is really unhappy with me.

And I don't even have a record player, but I have a ton of records.

 
Anyone preorder the Metroid Samus Returns LE from Amazon.DE? I did but now it seems like it was just the standard edition. Annoying but since I can't read German I'm not sure.
