General question on the Amazon DE steelbooks how does that work do you use a normal USA credit card and it converts the cost or how does that work if anyone could mind sharing never ordered from Europe?

Someone on Maximilian's Twitter posted a Chun Li w/o bracelets. Glad I canceled & just got the LE & used the savings to payoff my preorders of .hack GU & XB1X.

Depends on you.

You can either have it charge in GBP/Euro and your card will use a recent conversion rate.

Depending on your card, it may charge you a foreign conversion fee (typically 3%) on top of that. Some travel cards don't charge this.

You can also pay in dollars, and Amazon will charge you the conversion fee.

Which is cheapest? Depends on you and your card and the conversion rate each place uses.

Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition is up for purchase on amazon.de. It says temporarily out of stock, but you can buy it now and they will send it when they get more in. Worth trying if you missed earlier.

Seriously did Germany get 99% of all of Europe’s stock? They have been the only ones to have it actually available more than once (if ever in some cases). I can’t get an order through. Even with 1-click it wants me to re-log in and I get the OOS error.

Nah. Those freebies don't work like guides. Most of them cost the store nothing and they can chuck them in the trash whenever they want. A few select items might have a cost (like $4 for the Mario Rabbids Hats) but that can be changed if they sit around too long. ;)

Looking at preordering RIVE last minute from PlayAsia to get entered in the contest. Anyone buying both variants? Since it’s saying one entry per person I’m thinking I’m going to buy one and buy the other when I do a big purchase down the road for all the available exclusives.

I don't think anyone knew until it sold out... Certainly didn't see the "Only at Gamestop" part there yesterday.

Just be ready to buy it when it comes with the strategy guide / Pop figure / extra controller / Thinkgeek shit bundle.

Def had too sour a taste in my mouth on Capcom CE's after MVC.  Would not be surprised at all if that statue photo is 1:1 scale [meaning the statue is smaller than the ps4 case]

I dont blame you. Know that the Monster Hunter team has a completely separate work force than Capcom's usual. They're very protective of the Monster Hunter franchise, and I trust them with this. The other figures/statues they've put out for Monster Hunter are pretty much all fantastic.

Didn't the most recent version of MH on 3DS have a statue that was laughably small?

 
MH World CE is available for pre order again if you want a 32 page art book, soundtrack, some basic DLC, and a 5 inch statue for $90 extra.

Thanks! Something odd happened when I just ordered. I put in the wrong 3 digit credit card verification code and got an error. I stepped away to find the card and when I came back it said the order was processed...

Probably a hacker intercepting your CC number during the payment process as we all probably know that hackers monitor all orders from GameStop. Lol. I wouldn't doubt that GameStop has a deal with hackers that as long as they get the sale, the hackers can have the CC number.
 
Pre-ordered mine, MH World CE. Noticed the "Gamestop Only" when it was OOS and I instinctively wanted to throw up. Just another PSA to everyone: Use paypal, don't give them your CC #.

I believe Sony Japan sold out of that MH PS Pro the first night. I managed to get an order in using Tenso.. which is still cheaper than the other sites listed.
