I'm glad I actually ordered 3 copies this time (2 from BB) and forgot to cancel two of them.  It's too bad because it's Nintendo's fault before anyone else, but I'm going to get one in good condition.

I can't believe it.

Amazon.de shipped my evil within 2 steelbook in this thin cardboard envelope, absolutely no damage or crushing at all!!!!!

Almost feel bad for people who get crushed Amazon orders but can't feel sorry for the "fool me ten times. . ." syndrome in here.

 
my Fire Emblem Warriors CE arrived today from amazon and holy crap, this is probably the most damaged item that I've ever received from them. Arrived in a padded envelope, smashed with the bottom of the box literally ripped open and the all the content fallen out of it.

Ugh, the box that the game came in is pretty flimsy, but man, this is pretty bad.

I just canceled my Xenoblade SE preorder with them and put one it at BB.

Lol, definitely is. Talked to Amazon’s customer service and I’m sending one back and they gave me a $32 refund on the other. Wanted to keep one sealed and open one to play but I guess I’ll take one for $32. They told me though that they have taken down inventory for this due to numerous customer complaints. Then, the fact that these were 2 different orders but they decided to try to save shipping costs by sending them together, really is crazy. Glad this CE isn’t rare.

I contacted amazon and their not able to do a replacement for the Fire Emblem Warriors SE, because they don't have any in stock and their not sure if they'll be getting more. They offered to refund 30%, which seems fair. I'm debating if I should take the 30% and keep the game or send it back and buy it somewhere else.

I'll probably keep it though, because the the cards and soundtrack are in good shape.

My last situation like this came with the Majora's Mask CE for the 3DS, and I ended up getting about $200 worth of stuff for free. As a supervisor promised me my order would be sent alone(as I had a big order pending), and if it wasn't, contact him and he would comp any thing that was damaged. Of course everything was shipped together in one box(heavy items, with fragile ones), and if an item had any imperfections at all, I put it on the list. I had an Amiibo for my son in the order, that he was just going to open and throw away the package, but it was damaged, so I claimed it as damaged, which it was.

So he stayed true to his word, but that was when I learned CS and shipping are two entirely different entities at Amazon, that have zero level of communication between the two. Now I only order items from them if I have no other choice, or if I know they will have long term inventory and I can get replacements. They'll end up dropping it from their site, due to all the damages for investigations, but they are the ones causing the issues and not some manufacturing defect, but as shown "N" is shipping these poorly as well, which is also damaging boxes, so its a lesser of two evils argument at this point I'm sure.

Yeah, my 2 Majora Mask CEs came messed up from Amazon as seen in the photo. Think they refunded almost my whole total. The big problem is that I hear that people get banned from for multiple returns but it’s always their fault yet, they will basically blame the customer when their at fault.[attachment=28408:image.jpg]

Amazon will have at least 1 in stock when I let mine cancel for not updating payment method after I check my Best Buy copies today.

I've heard that mentioned here before, but my returns compared to what I order and keep is rather small. And with my Majora's Mask order, I didn't return any of it, as the supervisor told me before hand he would refund me, and I could keep whatever was damaged.

my FE SE came damaged from my instore BB pick up.  Nice big crease of the right side of the box.  Not really going to worry about it, if i come across a mint one somewhere i may pick it up and return the other.  

In other news, amazon japan has some amazing shipping, got my GT Sport PS4 in 2 days which is faster than what the local US amazon would ship and it was packaged really well. lol

 
I pre ordered FE from Best Buy on Wednesday and was given a Monday the 23rd delivery date. Hope you guys get yours before Wednesday because I don’t understand how my recent pre order wouldn’t be “delayed” like your guys’
 
Best Buy shipped my Fire Emblem Warriors SE and Chrom/Tiki amiibo order yesterday.  Chrom/Tiki arrived by 1pm today.  Fire Emblem will likely not arrive until Saturday or Monday.  Since they were both shipped at the same time not sure why they couldn't arrive the same time but overall its not a huge deal.  Just hope they send it in a box as we have seen (via Amazon) that a bubble mailer offers no protection at all for these.

I understand they are just saving dollars on shipping, but who in their right mind is putting anything with a value over $50 in a bubble mailer? That boggles my mind each and every time I see this happen.

I think it may also be some of the way Nintendo shipped these. If there are any mint SE's out there they will probably be worth something since it seems almost everyone is getting one damaged some way.

 
That feel when my instore pickup was in perfect condition. Whoever the bro was in the warehouse even just attached the pickup stickers to my Amiibo and Game Box just by the corner so they didn't leave residue or rip the box.

I've filled those out until I was blue in the face, and I swear each order comes worse and worse. LOL

I even brought those surveys up to the supervisor I spoke with, as I'm like why ask about packaging, when it's completely ignored each and every time? I still fill them out from time to time, but I just use colorful language to tell them they suck ass, and to stop asking about packaging, as it's the worst I've ever dealt with and there is no signs of improvement, EVER!

 
Amazon shipped my SNES Classic in a bubble mailer. Guys, they aren't going to change. Bezos is putting way too much money in his weirdo planetary colonization. There is no way they are going to put more money and training into packaging.

 
When I went to pick mine up today, I actually asked the manager at gamestop today how their FE SEs looked because of what I’ve seen on here. He seemed very weirded out by the question and said all of their stock looked fine. Thankfully the copy he handed over to me was pristine.

Nintendo really needs to use some thicker stock.
 
Wasnt taking chances on FE, grabbed a mint in store copy this afternoon. Took 3 stores.  Will let Amazon cancel and we'll see what my BB shipped copy ends up looking like.

This is really getting tiring.

I ordered mine from amazon and it got here in great condition, no damage at all. 

And i did also receive it in a bubble mailer, and still no damage at all. Seeing that sucks man. Most of my CE i order from Amazon and never an issue.

Reminds me of the guy with 500 PS4 games who claimed to have never received a floater. aka impossible.

I know some people have complained about the art cards in the FE Warriors CE, but I'll be damned if they don't look good/aren't high quality.

I'd love to get them framed in a poster or something for a mini FE Shrine.

 
So glad I cancelled the SE for Fire Emblem. I mean, it looks great, but with all those shipping problems, I'd be pissed. I just picked up a vanilla version today.

 
Luckily Amazon combined my order with other stuff I recently ordered so I got the box treatment and not the envelope of death.
 
FedEX just dropped of my FE SE preorder from Best Buy.  In a box with padding and it is in perfect condition.  I don't mind 1 day after launch since they usually get games to me 1-2 day before launch and in some cases 4 days (Tuesday release on the Saturday before)

 
Got my FE Warriors CE- it was packed well but one corner of the box is notably damaged... I feel like it's factory damage too, not BBY doing anything wrong.

i got mines as well. the package box is damaged including my FE. no padding in the box. it's torn and badly dented. the bottom part is ripped and u can see the contents inside. even the music cd case is dented. i see it without taking them out. need to find another one.

Agreed. Picked one up last time someone mentioned it. The CE contents are totes worth the extra money after whatever you value the game at. The game itself isn't bad either. Gameplay is above average, story is pretty good, and it's an easy platinum if you care about that.

Nope just a slipcover. The CE comes with 2 vinyls, hardcover artbook, dog tags, coasters, art prints, and deluxe game with season pass.

I always go back and forth and debate if it will drop. And a lot of times I miss out, lol. I'll probably be a little miffed if it drops because it's going straight to my backlog.
