Delayed dreamer edition for me too......I should of had BB deliver it....bummer

Anyone order Link's Awakening from Nintendo Soup? No shipping notification yet...

Not seen much talk about the Borderlands 3 CE.  I'm happy with mine.  Well made and very nice content (especially surprised by the posters.)

I did not buy a borderlands 3 collectors edition. I think it looks cool.
 
For what it's worth I did in store pick up for Zelda Dreamer Edition and got it just fine. No delay
 
Jeez. Dreamer edition from BB came in the most form fitting box I've ever had a product come in. Literally had to rip the box apart just to get it out.

 
Picked up LA regular, LA Dreamer, and the 4 new amiibos today without issue.

Now waiting for my LA Limited to arrive from Amazon IT (already shipped!)

It's usually says "self service is down" or lets you do it but never saves anything because the "don't close this window" spinning wheel never goes away. It's easier to just cancel and reorder or call them to change it if something is sold out.

Got my daemon x machina CE today... from Amazon France

The shipping box wasn't beat up much, but there was no padding. So I don't know if it got damaged in transit or they just stuck it in there like that..

This is almost how mine arrived from Amazon UK, yours is much worse. But my shipping box was pretty messed up so I knew as soon as it arrived that it was gonna be fucked up.

 
Got my Dreams Edition from BB in a bubble mailer =/

Box was smooshed on the side and some other places, but the contents were luckily all in good condition.

 
Playstation State of Play is next Tuesday, I'm pretty sure we will get The Last of Us 2 release date and edition announcement. The rumor of the release date is February 28th. If that is true, 5 days later will be FFVII Remake. I hope that 28th date is just a rumor.

If my Zelda special edition has not shipped from amazon.it it is probably dead in the water and will end up being cancelled correct?

I think they only ship internationally on certain days. Don't do anything to draw attention to yourself so someone notices 8t going out of country.

I just ordered some amiibos from Japan and they sat for most of a week before they shipped out. It also may be that only certain warehouses ship internationally and they need to move it to that one. That doesn't make sense to me but some businesses do stuff in weird ways.

So does anyone track CE guides anymore? I don't see anything for Link's Awakening. this would be the first recent Zelda game to not get one. But I also don't see anything for the new Pokemon game either and I know that it does have a collector's edition guide.

I can't see that happening... I feel like they probably want to spread things out a bit. FFVII is likely gonna be huge and it seems like, even with all the bad things (changes to the gameplay mechanics, being episodic, etc.), people are generally excited for it. Feel like releasing them around the same time might cannibalize hype/sales.

I honestly think Last of Us II and especially Ghost of Tsushima (seems like info on that game hasn't been all the common) are being built around the PS5 but everything shown has been on PS4. Basically, give the PS5 has the same architecture as the PS4, I think they could easily make the games where they run like any other PS4 game (1080p30) but PS5 will let the games run at higher res/framerate (4K60) and maybe with graphical improvements. Would be a great selling point for Sony to get PS4 owners to buy a PS5 early but also let people who don't want to buy the games now, knowing when they do upgrade hardware, it'll be a nice benefit in the future.

They are showing something next Tuesday. I am hoping for a good gap between it and FFVII remake. I wouldn't mind picking up the game twice for PS4 and PS5. I did the same thing with the first one.

Just got my DxM CE from amazon.fr and literally the only thing holding the box together was the tape...the box is blown out on all sides and the corners of the CE are demolished. Anyone have luck with amazon customer service over something that bad?

Curious to see how this goes for you... since they're French, I wonder if they'll have English CS, like Amazon JP does.

Past Zelda guides excluding BotW were by Prima who was on the brink of going out of business. They’ve been rescued recently but they’re doing digital guides only now.

Future Press only does a couple guides per year if that. No idea what Piggyback is up to these days.

Bottom line: there just aren’t that many physical guides being made anymore

I almost had a heart attack with mine because I thought they forgot the game. I've seen it in a few unboxing videos since then but apparently rather than putting the steelbook/game inside the SEALED cardboard box that was in the space where the game would go, they just sealed an empty cardboard box and threw the game in between some other stuff.

Really odd choice to seal an empty cardboard box but I wonder if that is just another "Gearbox being gearbox" thing.

I haven't been following guides at all for a few years now. That's what I was wondering/afraid of. I like having a physical guide so much better, don't have to charge it, rely on the site/network working, no screen to burn out your eyes on....

And when the information is incomplete or just outright incorrect, they send out replacement pages.
 
Since guide talk is going on- did the Horizon Zero Dawn CE guide get a reprint? It was sold out on Amazon and I picked up a used copy on eBay for like $60 like 4-5 months ago. But now it's back on Amazon for $30... 

 
Yeah mine is in transit too looks like it passed through customs check today according to the tracking info. Also did anyone else receive a 7 euro refund on it?

Since there's no PS5 plans being shown, it won't skip this generation but they'll be sure to capitalize on the remasters! Interesting to think the first game was actually PS3 since the PS4 copy quickly followed. That said, I still have no hype for either game because I want something new and risky from Sony. I want Demon's Souls level of risk and not another action/adventure TPS trope. I've actually played X1 more often lately simply because of all the games on gamepass to try out. That's alarming since it's a first, ever.

They really need to step up tomorrow.
