Sorry, but I am no longer going to be posting the latest updates here due to me not working with the company any longer and having a difficult time getting regular updates.

FAQs:

What if the price isn't accurate in store? Ans: Ask them to scan the title anyway and/or check the master game sales list online as my prices ARE accurate.

What if the in store game has no for sale sticker? Ans: Sorry chances are it isn't for sale, we usually leave a few for rent..but doesn't hurt to ask an employee Just in Case.

Why doesn't the online price reflect your price? Ans: Although it's one company and prices *usually* match..there are times when they don't or might be sold out. Sorry

Do games come with manuals/box? Ans: All games come with original artwork/case, but sometimes rental customers don't return manuals, so it's about 50/50.

What if I buy a game that doesn't work? Ans: All games are guaranteed to be in working condition. We clean all games before selling them. You can even replace games in the store that were purchased online! People have told me that the e-commerce site is very helpful also with returns/replacements.

What if my store is not offering the specials listed, is this YMMV? Ans: No this is not YMMV. Unless the store is down to it's last few copies of a game, it should be for sale. What do the numbers next to the titles mean? The numbers represent how many copies of an item a B&M store will protect for rental only. For example, if you see 4 copies on the shelf for rent and my listing has a (3) beside it, 1 should be for sale.
Listings with a (5*) means that there will be at least 5 kept for rent, but if the title is renting well the remaining copies may or may not be for sale, ask staff for assistance.

Their just not gauranteed to be included. The reason their not 100% is because online orders are sent from the stores and most stores put the manual with the game to be rented out and after a dozen or so renters the manual doesn't tend to make it back with the game.
 
Ugh, I'm still waiting for my AC: Brotherhood that shipped on the 11th. I have always been lucky with shipping coming on the first day. I believe the 10th business day would be on Monday.
 
In my experience with family video - I get the game very soon - if it does not arrive by day 7 or 8 I never receive that shipment. That has happened to me a few times - even from games ordered at the same time - some arrive immediately and some not at all.

They always make u wait 10 days so be ready to call Monday as i fear u may not receive the game if it has taken this long.

Well I received my reply: "We're sorry, but the prices on our website are determined separately from the
prices in our stores."

I will keep checking diligently anyway just to see if it was just an oversight on someone's part.....
 
sorry for some of the above posts:

1. For those who have things that say they are shipped on a certain date but haven't received it. The reason it is sometimes slow is because they have been put in a mailer that day but the stores haven't taken them to the post office that same day. Our postage ink has been on backorder so some orders have been slow to process. Definitely make your concerns heard if you are having consistant problems

2. For the online prices not matching, I know they say they are priced differently from in stores, but for the 2-3 years I've worked here there are a handful of times where they have been different, so it seems a goofy excuse. Hopefully it gets fixed next week

Now for some good news! use the code MOTHER11 to get free shipping through May 1st. If you have some things to buy still, good news is it'll work past next wednesday where (hopefully) prices will update. Remember this stacks on top of anything so if you need any new games, blu-rays, cheap used dvds...etc..
 
Please read a few posts above yours and the OP. "These deals are for Brick and Mortar stores but are *USUALLY* matched online." Well lately, its a been a lot less usually than before. Hopefully it gets better.
 
Checked out one of the 2 stores close enough to drive to. They didn't have much on sale. I did not see one copy of EA MMA (For sale or rent). They had 3 Hot Pursuits to rent but none for sale.

I used to get them about 80% of the time but now more like 20% of the time if lucky. I am in NY so maybe the location they ship from is the problem. They might have a different person packaging them up and to lazy or have no clue to add the manual's. I rather pay a few bucks more on some games to have the manual. I wish they would update the site prices already i have not ordered in like a month now. The free ship code is nice but i own most of what is on marked on sale already. If only black ops was $30 and not $40 i would maybe grab that. The spiderman game i am waiting for 15 or under shipped.
 
sorry everyone, nothing good to report back on this week as far as new updates. Will be back next week to see if we get back on the right track. Also will start putting the updates at the top of the page since the sections are starting to get cluttered unless people decide they prefer the way it looked before. If you have any feedback for me that'd be nice. See ya next week

Well after tax and shipping I'm paying almost $15 for a game I won't play for awhile. Might as well wait and see if something I want drops to the $19.99 price point
 
So, still haven't received my game yet that shipped on the 11th. I e-mailed them on Monday and all they did was say "The game will arrive 5-10 BUSINESS days." Yeah, capitalizing business doesn't do anything...

I'm not sure if you know this, but just to be sure, business days don't include weekends.
 
Swung by my local FV and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for 360 is 29.99, not 19.99. They didn't have any PS3 copies for sale.

Dead Rising 2 was also 29.99, not 19.99. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and RDR were also 29.99, not 19.99

A lot of times they may not change the prices... Just have them check the master price sheet like it says in the OP. They will come up the correct price or they can override them (not sure how they do it since I have only had to have them check once).

mvp828, you're right on the money. I went back in today and had her scan N4S HP and it did ring up 19.95. I guess my local FV hasn't updated their buy prices in a while. Actually got a copy in nice condition, complete with case, manual and LE online code.
 
The price when they scan it will always come up as the price in the op assuming the list is kept up to date. The only overriding that would be done is if the employee didn't know that was the correct price and changed it to match whatever sticker they had stuck on it. It's done this way so people can't swap stickers and try to buy different games. As always if anyone is looking for something feel free to shoot me a pm.

Good to hear... That's a good score, especially having the code still valid. Also nice to know that it rings up instantly, I was always under the impression that they had to override it.

There was a couple price drops but I can't remember them off the top of my head. I know it said to stop selling borderlands. If its not updated by tomorrow night I'll bring the list home and get it for ya guys. XT just probably decided to go out on the town this evening.

well not sure if MvC will be updated as it looks like they did post some updates...didn't fix the prices from the previous weeks (need for speed is still showing 29.99) but at least it's a good sign that things may be moving back to being more regularly updated online

Awesome price for JC2. Picked it up during the GS sale for $19.99 and put around 30 hours into it which only netted me 47% completion ingame. Well worth it imo.

They weren't updating the site for a few weeks, only some recent price drops updated to the site.
 
I don't remember seeing any additions or price drops this week before I left work. I think it was just a bunch of sticker more of certain games and to remove price stickers from a couple. I'm sure XT will post the full list tomorrow but figured if anyone was curious I would throw that up.
 
yeah sorry, I once again was swamped this week....should be in a better rhythm from here no out. I was in no hurry as there was nothing really new to add. The stores have been instructed to sell a few more copies of certain things (i saw epic mickey for example) and wwe smackdown vs raw 11 is sold out.

I don't know if anyone is interested, but would it benefit anyone for me to put how many copies the stores plan to keep for rent whenever I post? Like epic mickey went from keeping 3 copies to rent this week to 2 copies left to rent (sell the rest)....just let me know

You don't have to, but it could be useful to some people. I would imagine it would be common sense [for stores to slowly drop a copy or two] over time though, but most people lack common sense...

If you have the time to do it, go for it. Otherwise, don't worry about it. You already do more than enough as it is, and we greatly appreciate it.
