A minority of people will buy the game either for "support" for EPIC or because they still like to have their own collection of games, and even more people will buy the game day one for the map codes located on the manual - that much is fact. Your analogy of a free car being equivalent to a burnt copy of Gears is absurd and doesn't follow a clear path of logic. If anything, the car in your analogy would be compared to downloading an Xbox 360 system, which starts becoming a silly discussion.
