[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Ran into more Kmart wierdness today.

I went to a Kmart in another city and the 30% off wasn't ringing up. I talked to the manager, and he explained to me that the store is going to be closed, thus does not honor weekly ad prices.

He then proceeded to give me the 30% off, since the stuff was clearance.:bouncy:

Those TVs are definitely tempting as gaming TVs. My girlfriend needs a new TV in her bedroom, as the one she has is quite inadequate, although these wouldn't be much good for watching come 09. However, we can deal with that later!

Actually, they'll be fine as long as they're hooked up to cable or satellite. It's only TVs receiving over-the-air signals with an antenna that are affected by the 2009 switch.

Almost shat myslef when I saw a 2 red boxes for a DS consoles. If they were the MKDS bundle I'd be soooo happy. But they were the BA bundles. Hope those will stay unnoticed when they clearence out. Picked up a GBM case for $3.00.
 
Okay, I went to K-Mart today to PM games I bought last weekend and had the weirdest experience. First I checked them on the self-price scanner and this is what came up:

Super Monkey Ball 2-pack: $2

Tales of the Abyss - $4.75
Disgaea 2 - $3

I was like "Damn this is some clearance sale this weekend!" Then I went to customer service to PM them and this is how they rang up on the register:

Tales of the Abyss - $9.50
Disgaea 2 - $6

Still, cheap, obviously. Now can someone explain 2 things - a) why none of these prices are being reported elsewhere (with absolutely NO relation to the 30% off) and b) why I got 2 different prices (seemingly 50% different) in the same store??? I am thinking maybe if I bought them in the electronics section they would have rang up at the cheaper price.
 
I got Far Cry:Instincts-Predator for $7 today. I had them check Hulk:Ultimate Destruction-Xbox and it scanned at $49.99!:shock: It was tagged at $20 so he said he would sell it at that price. I passed since it's lower in the OP. If anybody can get a Hulk:UD-Xbox my Far Cry is up for trade. If there is a tradelist for Kmart someone let me know and I'll take my request there.
 
Picked up Phantasy Star Universe for $4.90 at Layton Ut store. It was the last one. They didn't have much else of interest to me. I looked at the TV's and all they had was one 27" Magnavox for about $147 and a couple 13" TV with VCR combos for about $70 before discount. Not nearly the deals that the other guy posted. meh don't get your hopes up.
 
I just got back from the Super K at Raleigh (outside of Garner), and I snagged Tourist Trophy (PS2) for $7 and Champions of Norrath (also PS2) for $9.10.

I'm out of the loop. What switch are we talking about? The over-the-sir signal affects someone I know. They were getting ready to buy a bigass antenna to get more so i just want to know what's going on?
 
sucks for me today. i printed some barcodes to scan and came home empty handed. everything is still the same. maybe ill go there sometime next week. really sucks cause i could have easilly bought so much. the only thing that i saw that changed was Valkyrie Profile 2 and Tales of the Abyss for both $19. so annoying...maybe i'll head to another kmart tomorrow im not sure..
 
just got back from Kmart and i snagged world championship poker all in for the 360 for $5.28 after tax...was marked down to $7.00 and i just couldnt pass up a $5 360 game after the 30% off

what kills me is that king kong for the 360 isnt clearanced to like $2...
 
No clearance TVs at my location but I did see some 20GB 360 Hard Drives marked down to $25 each. Also saw somebody picking up a copy of Tales of the Abyss - possible CAG. If you did, good for you!

I think I've seen the 24" Sylvania before(one of them), it was marked @ $98. Now, all I need to do is get some space in my trunk to get one and haul it home. For $27-31, it would be a great TV for me to play my games on downstairs. I just hope the one marked $98 isn't the last one left, which is why I'm not saying WHICH Kmart I've seen it at. :whistle2:#

I made another trip today to grab a few cheap ones, and left empty handed and really annoyed. I was in the store for 20 minutes looking around, no employees in sight, and then I went back across the entire store to CS to get someone, and they called THREE TIMES for an employee to come to electronics and NOBODY SHOWED UP FOR 20 MINUTES. After standing there like an idiot for 20 minutes, I turned around and walked out. I know Kmart is a complete shit hole excuse for a store, but good lord that is pathetic.

I wrote CS a nice letter, hopefully something comes of it - otherwise I will just start calling. I wasted over an hour and a few dollars in gas to stand in their store for nothing. Worthless.

If there is a bright side, its that the staff is so f-ing poor that they still have a lot of the 360 clearance titles left.

I've heard a few horror stories like that from here.
I guess I'm lucky that the KMarts in my area are all decent.
Friendly employees, always someone around (except for a couple of weeks ago, but it was only maybe five minutes and that was special circumstances, plus I got a free copy of Rogue Galaxy for my trouble:lol:;)), clean, etc.

Though sometimes I wish there was a really dumpy store around so I could find a gem buried under a pile of games.
