I myself would like to have this game hopefully its like mvpbaseball 2005 which was awesome. I would also like to join your league if there are any spots open.
 
Like everyone else here, my spot in the league is up in there air as I won't be buying it if it bombs on reviews, just wanted to clarify. That said, however, it looks like it will be a very fun game, just may take some getting used to that whole swing stick thing. :)

Going off of slick's list in the OP here's the team situation:

Open teams: Mariners, Orioles, Nats, Indians, Astros, Pirates, D-Backs, Rockies, & Dodgers

Picked twice: Phillies, Red Sox, White Sox, Giants, & Yankees.
 
anyone playing mlb 2k6, to kill some time till 2k7 comes out?i know it wasnt that good a game and had glitches, but i got it for $12, just to fill my baseball fix for about a month
 
I picked the rays b/c they are my hometown team and the dodgers suck. PLus the rays have a lot of talent you obviously dont follow baseball very closely.

Slow your roll there Chief. I'm not knocking anyone for their team choice. Hell, I picked my home team Brewers who aren't exactly a storied franchise.

I'm no Rays hater either, since I like the players you mentioned (except D-Bag Young) and would love to see them take the divison. It won't happen but it would be cool.

My surprise at them being picked before the Dodgers is simply due to market/fanbase size. Nothing more, so relax. :D
 
Sorry I am just pasonate about baseball. Delmons not a bad kid anymore. Once he got away from Ellijah Dukes and the minors hes become humbled. CC took him under his wing. The marlins are just a majorly hax team.

TRU cracks down pretty good at price mistakes and rarely, if ever honors them. i placed an order, but i expect them to cancel it

Yeah, I actually had to open a new account, because I didnt realize when I first signed up the 10 expiration date was like 2 weeks later, so I missed out.

I have a few different account all with the same CC and I always get the $10 off the first time I sign up. Anyway I ordered. Hopefully they honor it but I doubt it.
 
sdid you use the $10 off GCO or $15 paypal rebate? i dhouldve used the $10 GCO and daved the $15 rebate..oh well, damn TRU doesnt let u cancel orders

your kidding right..crawford and kazmir are the only stars in that bunch...baldelli is hurt a lot for a rather young guy...young has never performed great at the pro level and there is a long list of sure fire hits that haven't made it at the mlb level for a variety of reasons...shields is 25 and was 6 -8 with a high era/whip and ba against..cantu played a lot last year 107 games, and hit .249...he is far from great as well don't be dismissing someone about following baseball closely when your team is horrible
as for the game i hope toys r us honors the deal..one could argue the al east is the toughest division, but the devil rays had the WORST record in baseball last year. They had less wins then the pathetic royals who also play in a tough division. Youth and talent doesn't = sucess, and the devil rays have shit for pitching besides kazmir. By the time the youth gets of age and if they ever hit there projected talent level, they will be close to free agents and walk .

I dont know, but in my order receipt, it specifically says 360. Most likely, you wont have to worry about it since it will just be cancelled.

Wow your an idiot. First Baldelli played the full season after he came back.PLus he has only had two serious injuries both in successive years. He hit .300 with about 15 hr. D Young has only been in the majors for 1/2 a year so what are you talking about. He hit .317 w/ 3hr and 10 rbi in 200 ab. Cantu Hit 28hr and 100 rbi in his first season and last year he was injured.
Your an idiot who obviously knows very little about baseball. Why dont you do some researh friend before you come in here and act like an @$$hole. Your prolly a Yankees or Red Soxs fan arent you? You know very little about baseball or the Rays for that matter. Despite their record the Rays were much better than the Royals
 
For every 2 or 3 good young players the Rays have, they have 5 or 6 young players who went belly up, and have no business being in the Majors.
 
whats your point. Their players are finally coming too. If you look at the stats then it will show that Boston fan up their is foolish. How did Beckett do? #0 hr given up...nice. Unless you know what your talking about dont talk smack(to anyone)
