THANKS!

This game is crazy....oh man

OH AND I HATE JOE THEISMAN MORE AND MORE EVERY WEEK.
No Problem, and QFT on Theisman. I can't believe this game which looked like Arizona was going to survive because of Rex imploding, now has the Bears leading. I guess that's why MNF is so special.
I guess that's why MNF the Bear's Defense is so special.
fixed

They did it last year with Orton, and it looks like they had to pickup the slack tonight as well.
This shit is fucking insane!
That just about sums it up. Holy freaking crap.

That's why they're the Cardinals. And now I have to suffer through endless talk of these Bears being the reincarnation of the '85 Bears and talks of a perfect season. Just to play devil's advocate: The moment they face a half-way competent team on offense that has a killer instinct (lay down 'Zona!!!!) and get behind, they're in trouble, 'cause Rex is gonna kill 'em. And yes, the defense and special teams made plays, but let's not forget...they played the Cardinals.

I've been watching NFL football since the early 1990's & this is the worst collapse i've ever seen. I got physically ill watching that game.

6 turnovers
+
0 offensive touchdowns
+
10 seconds left in the 3rd quater & down by 20 pts
=
WIN + hopefully Dennis Green being fired.
He means that game was bananas. BANANAS!
 I wasn't sure if there was a deeper meaning. I definitely agree.

Wow tonight was just great for me. My power goes out for 4 hours, then when I get power back, the last thing on my mind is football. Sure enough it was one of the best games in a long time. Awesome, thats just awesome. Thanks Dayton power & light. assholes.

I watched NFL prime Time that was funny stuff with Green blowing up. He smacked the mic around. Then some random person who in fear of their life says; "thanks coach"

It was weird, I was watching the game on and off starting in the third quarter, and somehow I just knew the Bears would come back.

yeah the way the cards play they are now equal to the oakland raiders as the NFL's worst team. boy im glad im not a cardinal player right now. Green is going to run them to the ground.

The Cards are bad, but not Raider bad.

The Cardinals are good enough to make you think they can win and yet bad enough to fuck things up somehow. With the Raiders, you just know they're gonna lose. It's gonna take some huge fuck up for the other team for them to sniff a W, but then they are playing the Cardinals this week.

Booger! I already want to skip to next season and see Simon and McFarland in the middle. I'm quite surprised they actually pulled off the trade as the Colts are very quiet on these types of deals. It's nice to see, though, that they aren't playing for next year. I hope Booger can suit up and play a good deal on Sunday.

that dline they created on paper are just as good as carolina's line. too bad simon's out for the year or else the colts D would have been really massive up front. and this also means that the bucs are looking to next year. a seconf rnd pick is a great deal for them. both teams won in this deal.

You may be lucky to see Simon play more than 2 or 3 games next season, for a guy his size he seems almost feeble. Even if he plays some, between knee surgury and this mystery illness you have to wonder how effective he'll be and if the Colts we wondering the same thing while they made this trade. Personally I think with a decent guy like McFarland in the middle their run D may improve, but it will still have some holes to patch.

What MORE of a mess for the Detroit Lions - Shaun Rogers has just been suspended for FOUR games for violation of an over-the-counter substance. Starting to get a little crazy for the over-the-counter stuff, but rules are rules. Too bad, because he started off great. I guess it gives him time to rest his knee...so he says.
Buccaneers sign Phillip Buchanon, trade Anthony "Booger" McFarland to the Colts for a 2007 2nd round draft pick.
I guess I can understand the reasoning for trading McFarland with the opportunity of a second round pick (although it will definitely be a late round selection since the Colts will finish with a nice record and be in the playoffs) and it gets rid of a big-time salary on their roster. As far as Ellis Wyms taking the spot on the line, he has some great talent (2 sacks against Cincy on Sunday in limited snaps) but he gets injured a lot and for long periods of time. Good for Booger to get back with Dungy and I hope he plays as well for them as he did with the Bucs.

Buchanon is a nice pickup for the secondary, especially with Kelly being hobbled by that turf toe injury he has. Hopefully he'll be the special teams returner instead of Pittman and Mark Jones. Let's hope that Buchanon can make some tackles because that hasn't been his strong suit or the Bucs this season.

It seems like a raw deal for the Colts organization if the talk around town is true. Still, a big body up front is hopefully going to be a big help for the LBs. They just need to keep the linemen off them as those guys can fly around the field.

What's the contract situation anyway for those two DTs? They're both at least signed through next year right? It's nice that they're taking care of the defensive side of the ball now instead of focusing solely on offense.

well simon signed up for 5 years and with the trading for a high pick i think booger has atleast 2-3 years left. i think what we are all forgetting is that booger played under dungee while at TB. this is even a bigger plus because its a more familiar D than to gruden's D even though Kiffin was the cordinator for both Ds.

It's the same D under Kiffin as it is under Dungy it's just that McFarland was playing the nose tackle spot with Warren Sapp playing the under tackle. After Sapp wasn't re-signed in 04, and McFarland was given the big contract and he was moved over to the under tackle spot for pass rushing and Chris Hovan was the nose tackle for the run stuffing. Hovan has been a nice fit, but Booger has really underperformed in getting to the QB. I think with Simon getting hurt and needing a run stopper that's the reason the Colts traded for him. I'm sure he'll do better there now that there isn't the pressure with Freeney and all of the other pass rushers they have there.

just wanted to report this. bad news for Gmen fans. the 4th best back in football is going to retire at season's end to pursue an acting career. boy what a rubbish way to end a career. Tiki can now go suck it if the reports are true.

The problem with the Colts D isn't pass rushing, that's somehting they've been decent at even this year without a guy like Simon. But the run defense has more holes than swiss chess both traditionally and again this year. Partly it's because nobody is really there to effectively stuff the middle, but also I think it's because the linebackers are a little slower and maybe less effective tacklers than others in the league and sometimes Freeney and even Mathis are too concentrated on the pass rush and not doing much to help out the run defense like they should because alot of big run plays this year and last have been runs that have gone to the outside.

Funny I bet people didn't tell Barry Sanders or Jim Brown to suck them when they quit early. I don't blame him getting out of bed will be easier when he is 60. At least he is giving management some notice. Or this could be negoitiation BS

Well Sanders wanted to do it get out of Detroit. He would have gone to another team if the lions let him. Retirement was his only way out of a shitty lions team that went no where..as for Jim Brown he went out on top and with a championship right? i find that ok. I cant find it ok that Barber wants to retire just for an TV gig. the TV gig will stay forever but football wont. he is in his prime..the Giants are a legit contender for the super bowl. there is no reason for him to give up now. it could be a contract ploy because he is underpaid compared to the other backs. he is only making a million a year compared to guys like alexander and LT. if his team went out on top and then he retired..i would have no problem with that..but for an TV acting career...thats rubbish talk.

No person should question Tiki Barber whether he wants to leave or not, if he wants to go out after the year fine, go out while you can still be called "Great" unlike Emmit wasting his years in Arizona.
