No way, it's gonna be Chris Paul.

This might be the year where the Warriors finally make the playoffs. Hope Baron can just stay healthy.

When is the last time they made it?

They need to step it up, I don't even remeber the last time they were a good solid team.

I believe it's been a 12 year drought so far. Longest in the NBA.

Wow. I was like 3 the last time they made the playoffs. This is their year hopefully.

I could go out on a limb and say houston rockets vs detroit pistons for championship.

With the way people are playing right now there the best out there so far.

Miami is garbage right now

The Lakers should make it to the playoffs this year.

Preseason means nothing. And Miami will definitely be strong once the season gets rolling

bump i still got those Trailblazer tickets VS THE RAPTORS only next wednesday night at 7.

1 set left PM me and they are yours.

Yea houston is defiantly a really good team this year. Expecially with the edtion of Rafer Alston, Luther Head, and Stromile Swift.

Hornets made a pretty good trade in trading Jamaal Magloire to the Bucks for Desmond Mason, 2006 1st round pick, and cash.

It seems like I'm the only one who thinks that that isn't a very good trade for the Bucks. Magoloire is overrated to me, alot of people think he is a good center because of his all-star appearance in 03-04 (i believe it was that season). Magloire isnt particularly good at one thing; he is an average post scorer, average defeder (at best), average shot blocker, average rebounder (at best). He'll give you 12 and 8 a night but they just payed Gadzuric a bunch of cash and he could give you 8 and 12 a night if he started. Magloire has also been pretty injury prone and his PPG will likely go down because Redd, Ford, Simmons, and Bogut (who will probably play the 4) require more shots than his previous teammates. He also had Baron Davis creating shots for him his whole carreer. That being said, he is still above average in this day and he can do a little of everything.

Mason has proven to be a good scorer and perimiter defender. He is a great athlete and finishes well around the rim. He also rebounds well and he has a great attitude. His only real weaknesses are ball-handling and shooting. The first rounder for the Hornets really makes me believe that the Hornets got a great deal out of this. Although I tihnk Mason is the best player in the trade, a Center is of higher value than a swingman these days. Add a 1st round pick to the otherwise pretty even trade and its a real steal for the Hornets.

I can see why both teams pulled the trigger on this trade. Milwaukee improves but I think the Hornets got the better end of the deal. Both players are solid and still young so they can still improve their games.

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

I never knew that there were that many Warrior fans here.

Bad news about my bulls.
Duhon was taking off the court on a stretcher tonight.

Bulls have a lot of potential this year. I expect big things from them. Gordon coming off an amazing rookie year, Chandler, and Heinrich. They should be fun to watch.

The Bulls do have great potential but lacking in size and our best went into a slump. Gordon can't get his shot going. He was 0-7 last night.
Hinrich's playmaking isnt as smooth and Skiles playing him as a SG doesnt help.
Bulls still got great defense but seriously lacking any offensive threat.

Also with the East now overloaded with firepower I worry about the Bulls this year. I hope we can do a trade with the Nuggets for Nene.

Actually, I think last season was his only injury prone season. Before that he hadn't missed a single game for 3 seasons.

Pacers' fan here. I'm most excited about the return of Ron Artest. If he can keep himself under control the Indiana Pacers will be a very tough team to beat this season.

I hope my Warriors don't buy into their own hype. They did go 18-10 with B.Diddy but they still finished under .500

I say were 2 years away from playoffs. This year I say maybe we can squeeze into 8th, but realistically 9th or 10th.

What a season opener for the Dallas Mavericks. :) I thought they were out of it, but they fought back and won it in double ot. The only way it could have been written better is if the game wasn't so late, and I didn't have class tomorrow.
Bulls come back from 25 (21 at start of 4th) and win by 4 in overtime!
Yeah. Finally I can root for a Chicago sports team again! :applause:
However: 1) It's the Bobcats
2) There's 81 more games to go.

Ya, well they lost their first 6 or so last year and still got 47 wins. They took 3 quarters off instead of 6 games this time.

My Bucks are lookin real good so far. Guess we'll see how good on Sat. when the Diesel and DW show up.

Edit: Guess we just get the flash to worry about now. Heh Heh Heh

Michael Redd is amazing. I got a huge draft steal in T.J. Ford for my fantasy team.

damn celtics came so close 8 tenths of a second was too much time. At least the celts are proving they are going to be competitive this year and hopefully they can sneak into the playoffs

Why is Hamilton still allowed to wear that stupid facemask? I thought you could only wear it if you had a facial injury.

yea thats a good one plus how did he catch turn and elevate all in two thirds of a second

I saw the replay, he got the shot off with about 2/10ths of a second left. How the hell do they leave Hamilton open when they're not even covering the inbound.

Yea saw the replay too it even looked like the clock was started on time he did it all incredibly quick. I hate when teams don't cover the inbound guy it gives him a chance to make a perfect pass. If you are in his face that pass might be off by a few inches and kill rips rhythm. The celts celebrated too much after mark's shot. It was a reaction that showed their age
Anybody see Shane Battier get his head busted open? That was pretty sick.
damn hope it aint serious I have already lost shaq off my fantasy team for a few weeks
