How'd it happen?
He was going for a jumpshot and Magic's center Kelvin Cato jumped up and accidently hit him sqaure on the forehead with his elbow. Was helped off the court and he was bleeding pretty bad, he even had to pull his jersey over his head to either hide the wound or to stop the bleeding. I believe he did come back to the game though after getting a couple of stitches.

Boy, the Cavs looked terrible last night. Sure, they were playing the Spurs, but that's when you're supposed to play your best. Their defensive rotations were absolutely terrible (there's no way Zydrunas should be stepping out on pick and rolls) and for the game they had only 13 assists, half of what the Spurs had. You're not going to beat the Spurs if you dont' move the ball.

The Warriors really need to learn how to shoot free throws. 30/46 is not acceptable. You can see are offense didn't click without B.Diddy

On to New York, tough test, they better win.

I hate to bring this back from the dead but Warriors are first in the Pacific, 2nd in the West!!!!11!!11!! Clippers are causing us problems but at least the Kings suck, it feels even better after all the damn hype they got.

God damn the Warriors are on a roll. And its a great feeling for fans. After sooooo many losing years, fianlly a good team.

Good for Kobe for hitting that dude from Memphis back.

Pat Riley coined the phrase "Threepeat" and has it trademarked. Damn, thats crazy and some easy money when someone uses it.
The Suns just scored 47 points against the Heat in the FIRST QUARTER.

Bump worthy indeed.
That was an amazing first quarter, I believe they shot 72% which is just crazy. Although i wish the heat had all of there guys cause this might have been a good game.

What a bs game the Bulls had earlier today. The clear push at the end of the game should of sent the bulls to the free throw line to tie it up......such sad officiating.
Where and when the hell is Artest gonna go?
Rumor has it that he is going to be traded for Corey Maggette.
I say its a pretty even trade. Brand and Artest will be playing together again and Pacers will get the shooting they need.

I just hope they get it done soon so the team can get everything together.

I log onto http://www.prosportsdaily.com/nba/nbarumors.html every morning hoping to hear that today is the day the Pacers pull the trigger on an Artest deal. It's gone on entirely too long.

Detroit is clearly the best team in the NBA right now (with my Pacers not even close). Who's the second best team? My vote goes to the Mavs. I've watched them a couple of times this season, and they've looked very good.

Its good to see that the Pistons is finally gettin the recognition that they're deserving. My vote for the best second team right now goes to the Spurs but if any team that eliminate them from the playoffs then I go for the Mavs.

The Clippers trade with Pacers was scrapped because of Maggette's foot. I still think the Pacers best option is to get Dunleavy from my Warriors. Walsh (GM of Pacers) loves Dunleavy's game and with losing a SF they'll get a competent one back.

I would say the spurs also, Mavericks imo, either do very good or very poorly in games. I don't think I've seen them once this season where they're just playing "good" The spurs are consistent enough imo though. or it could just be that I hate Dirk Nowitzki

I would love that. Only problem is its extremely difficult to make a trade because we just re-signed Dunleavy but the new contract doesnt begin until next year, which makes a trade very dificult. Mullin is also in love with Dunleavy so that doesnt help, more likely it will be Pietrus being sent off.

Larry Birds seems to have a boner for Peja so I think that's who they are shooting for, but I can see the Pacers trade Arterst for Dunleavy and Murphy.

Murphy is not the man. Settles for 3's and jumpers, has no upper body power and gets out-rebounded all the time. He's a pussy, and I hope we trade him for Artest so we can have Diogu at 4 and Biedrins at 5.

he's white what did you expect? :D haha j/p

It's not even that. I don't care if he's white or not, Biedrins can outplay him. Problem is last year we ended 18-10 with Baron Davis, mostly due to moving the ball around and running. Basically we were the Phoenix Suns, now were setting up the play which were not good at.
Do you guys think Bosh should be in the all-star game?
I really wish he wasn't stuck on such a crappy team. He's too good to be mired in the muck of toronto.

Anyone read this article on ESPN.COM about Carmelo?

Details how hard it is, to balance being "street" so he can keep it real with balancing the buisness side. Carmelo poitns out some good points when he talks about it's a hard sell because on one hand kids buy the "street" version of him, while he must be sophisticated enough to be bought by "White America".

I wholeheartedly agree. I liked Bosh since I first saw him, the guy needs to get out of Toronto.

Bump for new on Antonio Davis going into the stands. As much as i'm against athletes going into the stands, if Daviss' wife being threatened or harassed then Davis has the right to protect his wife. Security took 45 seconds to get to Davis when his wife was only in row 8.

Damn are you serious about the A. Davis news? Tuning into SC now. That's fucked up.

Reruns aren't on...guess I'll see it tomorrow. Anyway, hope everyone's ok. And get Artest somewhere already.

Yeah, it happened during a T.O.

Davis saw that his wife was being "harassed" by an irate fan over some bs, really it looked calmly Davis stepped over the scorers table. Walked up the stairs and was talking, you can't see his face because his back is turned. He didn't go Stephen Jackson throwing punches, he was then escorted by security back to the court.

I really hope Davis doesn't get suspeneded for more than 1 game, if your wife/signifigant other is being harrased, what are you gonna do? Sit there? Hell no.

From reports the fan was "intoxicated"

"I witnessed my wife being threatened by a man that I learned later to be intoxicated," Davis said in a statement issued after the game. "I saw him touch her, and I know I should not have acted the way I did, but I would have felt terrible if I didn't react. There was no time to call security. It happened too quickly."

Davis ascended about 10 rows of seats to reach his wife in the stands. There was no physical confrontation after he got there, but several people were pointing and shouting for a few moments before security arrived

Davis, president of the NBA players' association, appeared calm throughout and walked away willingly as soon as security arrived. He returned to the bench and took his seat before being ejected. The game resumed after about a five-minute delay.

Yeah, I hope he only gets 1 game at the most. Haven't seen it, but from how you described it he seemed to handle it really well. I didn't know he was the president of the NBAPA.

I didnt get a chance to see the game but im sure to dl it later.
From what I heard on the radio Davis pretty much did what any man should of done.
He did the right thing of not beating the shit out of him and walking away.

I was at the game and will definitly agree with you on that since he didn't even think of throwing a punch, but was kinda scary being only a couple rows down from where it happened. Reminded me of detroit and pacers game. Anyways besides that little incident, that was one of the sweetest Bulls games I have been to in awhile. Gordon's jumper in OT with no time left really made the roof come off the UC.
