i posted it on craigslist too, but i rather use my money on a wii game lol

50 is the lowest cause thats what i paid, but u get 10 dollars back on a rebate too. these things are $60+ in stores + tax too so ur saving urself about 20.
 
I got AC PM'ed at CC in Sports Arena for $39.99. I had to do it twice though, because 1st try was unsuccessful. The jackass said they had to call them and confirm if it was in stock. Went back there after work before they closed, and had the girl at CS do it. She was cool, she looked at the ad and said yeah I can PM that for you, but need a manager's approval. The manager came out and said cool and out I walked with a copy of AC for $39.99.

NEXT thing i find out I CANT GET 3 WII PLAYS reason " people buy them and sell them on ebay" i look like a 10 year old( im 17) DO I LOOK LIKE A SCALPER?

so i ended up getting 1 wii play for free and ill just get store credit for the 100 dollars or something... sigh

AND I MISSED the first 5 mins of the bolts game

manager is gonna personally get me my other 2 wii plays thank god, stupid register person i dont care how hectic it is its unacceptable accusing me of being a scalper

just got back from TRU AGAIN for the 2nd time today
got myself my 3 wii plays that I plan on USING( going to trade in all 3 wii plays for GS credit) and used the 10GC on a nunchuck
so after all that trouble i got what i wanted. thankfully TRU is only a 5 min drive.

I have 4 (maybe 5, just can't settle on whether I realy need another system, still have so many games for my wii and ps2 I haven't finished) I can give out. Had to win them off ebay (came out to like 12 dollars, so better then running around town wasting gas). good from today to wednesday.
 
I previously thought I would be sitting in the comfort of my home on Black Friday before I had to go to work, but now it looks like I'll battle it out at the Eastlake Target in hopes to pick up one of their 22" Westinghouse LCD for my desktop. If anyone else is planning on heading to that particular Target in the morning, give me a shout.

u should go to the target on convoy in kearny mesa i swear every year i go there, theres only about 20 people in line. and most of them are mothers trying to get their kids xmas gifts

but thats my past 2 years experience anyways could be diff this year.

yeah i was sad to see the bolts lose again, norv is talking about how we need to find an identity...

thankfully nothing much on friday really catches my eye except the buy 2 get 1 free used games/accessories over at gamestop but thankfully its a whole weekend deal. however i will be getting up early with my dad and cousin on saturday to pick up a 42 inch sharp aquos tv for $799 over at the miramar marine exchange to finally upgrade the old 13 inch tv thats in my room :lol:

a noteworthy deal for those with access to the military base, either miramar or MCRD, is selling the new 360 premiums bundled w/ forza and marvel:UA for $299 on friday

i was plannign on pulling an all nighter at bb in miramesa so my brother coudl get a laptop but he cancelled. not sure what im dong.
i need 2 of the lcd picture frames from there, but dont wanna wait in line really early to gettem. probably gonna pick up the magellan 3200 while im there too.

supposedly bb has an unadvertised toshiba laptop for $229 as a doorbuster.

That is the hotness. The only thing that would make it perfect would be BC. Even half-assed software BC like on the 80GB or even the 360 would have been great. Everyone makes the claim that since nearly everyone and their mama has a PS2, there is no need to include BC in the PS3. Wrong. My PS2 conked out on me a year ago and I haven't finished DQVIII or FFXII yet. Well, BC and clear buttons (w/white background) on the controller. Those black ones stick out like a sore thumb. I guess the real problem for them lies in what to do with the thumbsticks.

lame, i really wanted the tomtom le from bb but im not going. people are crazy, ompared to years past there really isnt anything spetacular. it used to be one or two big things for me and a buncha smaller stuff, theres the tomtom and the lcd frames. blah, im sleeping in.

i was taking my brother home tonite and for kicks we drove by Best Buy and Circuit City in Chula Vista/National City. YIPES -- Best Buy easily had 150+ people waiting in line, and it was wrapped around the building. Circuit City didn't fare much better, and at 12am the line was already extending to the front of Longs Drugs.

personally, i haven't seen a thing worth waking up at 5am for, let alone standing in line at 10pm! this year's deals, especially video game deals, seem decidedly vanilla compared to years past. i have a friend who works at CC who's gonna try to snag a Call of Juarez and Fable for me, but that's it. other than that, i've had my eye on the Halo 3 Legendary Edition from Amazon for $80, mainly since i haven't bought it yet and the extra crap in the box is almost pushing me over the edge. i wish some place just had the regular edition for $40 or something.

anyway, good luck to everyone willing to brave the madness. or Sparta.

i finally turned 18 (11/23) and gonna trade in my 3 wii plays+ super smash bros+ a psp game or katamari... towards either guitar hero 3 or mario galaxy( if i cant get a copy at CC)

but yeah this year i got pretty much everything i wanted on BB online.

Went down to the Eastlake Target at about 5 this morning. Line was fairly long, but I managed to get both the 22" Westinghouse and a 500GB External HDD I was looking for. Black Friday was a success for me!
 
my pal from CC managed to score the two games i was asking him about, along with two DVD season box sets i wanted. i'm probably gonna head out with my wife later today just to see all the trashed stores. :)
 
well i wasn't originally planning to do much on black friday as my buying was supposed to be done saturday but ended up doing so anyway, plans just came up on saturday and wouldn't be able to pick up what I originally wanted, the 42 inch sharp aquos. Went with a 42 inch panasonic plasma instead priced at $899. Picked up a wall mount which was discounted an extra 10% and call of duty 4, though not on sale the guy on the register gave 10% off anyway :cool:

We went to MCRD as we saw that miramar was packed, arrived around 4:30am there was line but not as crazy with tents and crap like best buy, CC or frys. Tickets were handed out for stuff so a lot of ppl just waited at their cars until store opening and the line wasn't that bad since electronics department his separated from the main store. store opened at 6am their doorbuster of sorts was a bunch of wii consoles for sale, I think the limit was set at 2 per person as i saw at least 10 people holding 2 Wiis. By 6:30am wiis were sold out. Probably around 9:30am we had the tv packed in the car and headed home to get some well deserved rest.

about to head to bestbuy to try to get a wiizapper and wii points with the coupons... $30 for both seems nice :D

I went to Fry's, it was madness...

I waited in line for FIVE hours from 7 AM until 12 noon... the CHECKOUT LINE... WTF!?

All I got was a stinkin' hard drive!

It was fun times though with my homies...

But for reals, I coulda went to Vegas in that time span or up and down to LA for some Roscoes... wtf.
 
Fry's had some great TV deals. I still don't regret my 40" 120hz 1080p Samsung LCD for $1699.99 + tax though. I did go to fry's around 12 and the checkout line zigzagged through the whole store. At least 2 hours to check out. So I left.. didnt' want to deal with all that bullshit just to save $100. There were still a lot of TV's though.. so I don't think it was necessary to camp out this year. I heard over at SD that someone was told from a Fry's manager that they had 100+ of all the big sale items.. don't know if that was true or not.

Anyway, did anybody try using that 20% off coupon at kmart? I want to try to get a 360 with it, but kmarts are 30 minutes away from me and I don't want to waste time if it doesn't work.

I almost decided to go to Fry's after Target, but it sounds like it was a good thing I didn't if the checkout line was really that long. Oh well I'm sure I can get a better graphics card then the one Fry's was offering from NewEgg in the next week or so.
 
went to BB to look for the zapper but it wasnt there, got a wii points card with the 5 off, my sister got a few dvds.

also went to old navy... they had jeans for only $15!! got 3 pairs.

i need a quality window tint done. does anybody have a reccomendation? im a cag but quality is far more important on my baby so quality>price.
