Official San Diego Area CAG List

I was at the San Diego Fry's this morning and I didn't see anything about $1 clearance UMD's. I did see about 10 UMD movies on a $3.99 sale. Some of them were decent, but I couldn't imagine when I would actually want to watch any of them on my PSP. I didn't see any notable PSP game sales.

anyone gettin in on those 9.99 games from CC? maybe ill see ya tommorrow ill wear a baby blue LT jersey tommorrow just say CAGer? lol

Gee you must be the only one in San Diego with a baby blue LT jersey
Any SD CAGgers using Time Warner with HD service? If so, can you tell me if their cable boxes have HDMI?
nope they have DVI and components. though

Just a heads up , The Target in chula vista across the street from the DMV had 3 wii's in stock as of noon. didnt see anything worthwhile clearance wise besides a copy of monster madness for the 360.

Kearny Mesa Target has 2 Wii's as of 3:45 pm today. Was trying to get more point cards but they are all out. Mission Valley wouldn't let me use the coupon on the cards, but I was able to use it on a DVD remote for the 360 though. Who was successful with the coupon and at which Target?

Man.. this one middle eastern guy at the Mira Mesa Target pissed me off. I went in with the intention of buying 2 MS points with the $5 off coupon. He tells that it doesn't work on Toys. I said that these aren't Toys? he keeps saying they're not Toys so they won't work. Ugh.

I gotta try again tomorrow and maybe the the electronics section because I've been getting denied at the front lanes. I really hope I can get them for $25.

For some reason it's pretty hard to get them to do it. Somehow I was able to use it on a 360 DVD control at the front lanes, but at electronics the "new" guy had to call over for approval and was rejected.

Best Buy Mission Valley is selling Halo 3 L.E for $29.99 and Strategy Guides for $5. You can buy them individual. Stock is limited and applies only to that store, not valid at any other store.

True that, it's like everywhere...guess this version isn't very "limited" at all.

Anyone want to buy some ringside seats for WWE One Night Stand tonight? I'm willing to take a loss for CAG members at $600 for a pair. Section B row 6 (souvenir chair).

edit: Sold

Too cheap to pay $600 for some wrestling tickets

Anyone in SD county see any early releases of the red psp bundle floating around like at wal-marts or anything (because I've seen threads on the forums of stores selling them before it's release on tuesday)

Dying to get my hands on it, though might wait and try my luck at using the circuit city coupon to see if I can't get $40 off of it:

Gonna be there anyways, picking up patapon for $9.99

The sharper image @ fashion valley is liquidating their stuff.

just thought id share.
That's not MUCH of a loss, unless you used ticketbastard. :)
I used TicketBastard

Anyone going to a WalMart next Thursday at midnight? Which locations are 24hr? I know the one by Fry's is because that's how they answer their phone.

The Grossmont Wal-Mart is 24 hours. I picked up my DS Lite at 12:00 a.m. on the release date. They brought them out promptly at midnight.

I got a white Dual Shock 3 up for grabs if anybody is interested. I got it shipped to me back in Dec. 2007, but I rarely use it since I rarely play my PS3. But I'm starting to play PS3 more, but I prefer to have a black DS3 to match my system. If anyone is interested, I'll let it go for $55. I paid $65 shipped from Play-Asia, but I'll let it go the same price as a black DS3. It's in mint condition, practically new. PM me if interested.
You remember what they had at SI? Any PS3 games?
no it was just a buncha random overpriced electronics then there was a xbox 360 section. they had halo 3 and mass effect also 20% off. i remember they had the headset and i think a play and charge kit.

your PM box seems to be full .

Oh haha...yeahh it is lol...didn't realize it  Thanks for the heads up though.

OK I know this is probably in the wrong thread ...... but since im leaving from the San Diego area going to Los Angeles here is my question

like 15 years ago my friends and I would look in the back of EGM and Gamepro magazines and see ADs for video game stores ( die hard , games express , game dude .......) in the Los Angeles area .......and made a few treks up to the stores ....well it has been a while over 10 years since and wonder if any of those stores are still around or if anyone has some good stores that carry used video games and / or Japanese imports ( japan video games ) we plan on going up past hollywood

so if anyone knows any place between San Diego and there please pass along your spots and if its on the way we will try and stop and check it out

might be helpful to post in the la/socal thread.

good luck.

College Ave Walmart will be receiving 6 MGS4 bundles. Anyone else trying to score one at launch?

Edit: Every SD Walmart is trying to keep street date. Oh well, there's always Wednesday night.

Sadly, no. There is still Gamedude in North Hollywood and a few small import shops on the West Side and in downtown, but nothing like there used to be in the late 90s. I like Games 4 Less in Fullerton if you pass through there, just off Harbor on the 91 Freeway, which is a couple of miles off the 5 Freeway.

For those of you who are getting MGS4, do you happen to know the shipment numbers of the best buys for the bundles? I'm heading to mira mesa after work at 10. I hope I still have a chance to get one.

You definately want to check out "Games for Less" in the Anahiem area. It's the independent game store and they have a lot of retro to current gen games as well. I thought it was great. It's like girls finding a handbag mecca except it's just video games.

Games for Less
1125 S. Harbor Blvd
Fullerton, CA 92832
714.526.2600

They have 2 other locations, but that's the one I went to. There's also a Gamestop around the area. When you take the 5 North, take the Harbor Blvd exit, take the direction away from Disneyland, when you pass the 95 (or 90-something) freeway, you're getting close. I believe it should be on your left side of the road. You can't miss it.
I so want to get my MGS4 copy right about now
If you have a PS3, you can probably get the game just about everywhere.

If anyone is interested, I spotted a few Wii bundles at the Eastlake Wal-Mart across from the Otay Ranch Center. The bundles consisted of the Wii itself, an extra Wiimote, and a copy of WiiPlay; and were priced at $338.00. There were 3 as of 4:00 pm today.
